We believe that Queenie is lying. We arrived at the Volupedis home at 1:30 a.m. Queenie Volupedis was standing over her dead husband. She claimed that he fell down the stairs while intoxicated. When the officers performed an autopsy, they concluded that he died from a wound on his head. To begin with, her husband, Arthur, laid at the bottom of the stairs when the cops arrived. His cup was intact and he was lying on his back. As a rule, when people fall down the stairs, they roll or don’t fall backwards. Also, his cup wasn’t broken, and when you fall down the stairs and die, the cup won’t still be in your hand. This proves that she staged the crime. Secondly, Queenie said, “ He was intoxicated and fell down the stairs.” Although the autopsy
From approximately 8:15 to 8:30 a murder occurred at the Ellis household and Paul Dudden is the victim. Paul was ruthlessly murdered with a knife. He abruptly left dinner and walked right out the front door. After reviewing all the evidence it is clear that Miss Pettigrew committed the act.
On August 15 at 9:45 am Anna Garcia´s neighbor, Doug Jung, contacted the police and informed them about Anna because he was worried about her. He told them that the previous morning he saw her walking her dog at around 6:00 am and that she was wearing a sweatshirt even though it was humid outside. After hearing from Doug, the 911 operators informed the local police and the EMT. Both the police and the EMT arrived at the crime scene at 9:56 am. The EMT declared that Ms. Garcia was dead and her autopsy was performed by Dr.King at 11:00 am. Ms. Garcia was five foot four inches and 165 pounds. She came from Hispanic heritage and was of age 38. Ms. Garcia was found surrounded by a pool of blood and there was an injury to the head. A table was by Ms. Garcia´s head and there were white pills lying by her as well. There were no signs of weapons and a pool of vomit was found at the crime scene. The police identified four possible suspects: Alex Garcia (Ms. Garcia´s ex-husband), Erica Piedmont (Alex´s new wife), Lucy Leffingwell (Ms, Garcia´s partner in business and best friend), and Doug Greene (Ms. Garcia´s neighbor and ex-boyfriend). There was a team working on finding out if any of the suspects were involved or not. The main problem/question was whether Ms.Garcia's death
In Brant County, 1896, Lillie Carpenter died in her home despite the efforts of her neighbour, Margaret Gillies, and her husband, Robert Carpenter, to revive her. Dr. Peter Jones and Dr. Robert McDonald examined the body and found bruises on Lillie's arms, shoulders, chest, abdomen and head. Dr. Jones then concluded that death occured as a result of bodily trauma and Robert Carpenter was convicted of manslaughter. The evidence most strongly presented was that of his suspicious behaviour of locking his wife in thier home and telling two different accounts as to her condition the day she died. Though this dual account of Lillie's conidiotn is rather questionable, in consideration that the locked door was mentioned numerous times in the trial it suggests that these instances are more attunted to a character analysis of Carpenter and not a determining factor is he beat his wife. During the trial abuse allegations, supposrted using witness testimony, however, were used as evidence to support Robert was a violent man. These allegations, however, do not cocnlusively demonstarte Crapenter's guilt as the witnesses do not have a clear line of visions to determine if Carpenter had beat his wife. While Lillie sustained brusing on her upper body and her skull, causing congestion in the brain, her syptoms leading up to her death suggest that she could have dided of water poisoning.
The autopsy report revealed death by asphyxiation associated with a skull fracture. Further examination by the coroner revealed that she
My third piece of evidence is the kitchen. It is an absolute mess. There are broken plates, newspapers everywhere, an overturned chair, and the phone ripped out of the receiver. As a rule that means there was a struggle or fight before the blow to the head. When Mr. Vermont confronted Mrs. Vermont before he killed her, they got into a
mouth with duct tape and later disposing of her body in the woods. Prosecutors argued that
Flat characters are minor characters in a work of fiction who do not undergo substantial change or growth in the course of a story. A minor character in a story is not the leader of the story, they are a supporting character to the protagonist and they give a contrast to the protagonist in a story. In the story "A & P" by John Updike, the story begins by illustrating Sammy as a young cashier who is cynical and loathsome of his current situation. He is infatuated by a pretty young girl, the minor character, who is referred to as "Queenie." Queenie is very important in this story because of the conflicts she causes. Queenie enters the story when she walks into the local A & P grocery store with her friends wearing nothing but bathing suits.
Is Queenie lying? I think Queenie is lying about what really happened when her husband Arthur died. She said that he was going down the stairs when he feel; he was on his way to get another drink. Queenie stated that she was at a club with a few friends because they got into a fight and when she got home he was at the bottom of the staircase dead. She also failed to call the cops but decided to wait till her friends came over, the time from when she came home and when her friends arrived was approximately 10 minutes. Some of her statements and the evidence in the crime scene shows that Queenie is probably lying about the incidents surrounding Author’s demise.
This is an attempt to unravel the tangle by an objective and empirical examination of information from crime scene and post mortem examination of the victims. Pre-digested information such as speculative newspaper reports, and statements from witnesses other than those called in a professional capacity have been avoided since theirs is largely subjective testimony that confounds more than it informs.
The storyteller goes to great lengths to conceal the murder. First, he dismembers the body, collecting the blood in the bathtub so that there would be no blood stains anywhere. He then buries the body parts under the planks on the floorboards in such a way that "no human eye--not even his--could have detected anything wrong." The storyteller says this
The famous Marilyn Monroe was found dead in her bed but was it suicide? It was a murder that was unsolved at the time of the death and spread through the news to become one of the most talked about murder mysteries. Was it really a mystery? Through an enormous amount of research and the analysis and synthesis of the victim, crime scene, suspicious behavior, and evidence, it is clear that the murderer has been identified.
“In her life, sir, she have never lied. There are them that cannot sing, and them that cannot weep- my wife cannot lie”. That quote was stated by John Proctor about his wife Elizabeth. In Salem Elizabeth is known for being very honest and never lying. Trait that Elizabeth and I have in common are our insecurities come out, we are regretful of past decisions, and we forgive.
An emergency call came in at 9:45 am made by Doug Greene who is a neighbor of the victim Anna Garcia claiming that he had not seen Anna Garcia since her normal morning walk at 6:30 am the previous morning and that the dog had been barking for 2 hours, he had also mentioned that Anna Garcia was wearing a sweater when he had seen her the previous morning while experiencing a 92 degree heat wave. Mr.Greene had called Anna’s telephone with no answer, and had also rang the doorbell with no answer. The EMT and local police had arrived to the scene at 9:56 am, needing to break the door down. EMS discovered Anna Garcia laying face down, dead.
Barbara was a problematic girl with a proclivity for lying. Whenever she would choose to procrastinate instead of her work, she would just lie to her parents and say it was already done. Truly, she was a prodigy, she had a photographic memory. She knew to live up to her potential she had to stop lying . It also came to her attention that she had to be profound, like all of the greats. Soon she dropped that idea. Not long after deciding against it, she began a downward spiral. She became prodigal, buying profusions of clothes whenever she felt like it. She then decided to make her house prodigious and spent hundreds of thousands on new rooms. After she had bought all of her clothes and upgraded her house she threw a lavish, profligate party.
iv. (princess diana): People believe they had a part in her death because the traffic cameras were down 25 minutes before her crash. Than came back on 30 minutes later.
