Throughout the rollercoaster of a ride the past two years have been, I have been involved in a numerous amounts of extracurricular activities ranging from volunteering, babysitting, and of course, athletics. Most notably have been my contributions via athletics. Besides being a member of the varsity football team my sophomore to senior year (while being a captain my senior year) and a member of the varsity track team my senior year, being in these sports has given me many opportunities to give back to my community. Football players are not known to be the brightest of the bunch and often times, need an extra hand in academics. During my sophomore and junior year, I tutored a few of my fellow teammates to insure they got their G.P.A up and was able to compete on friday nights. In track, I did many fundraisers and similar dog sitting friends and family. Other extracurriculars I have done the past 2 years include being nominated for the National Society of High School Scholars and the …show more content…
My career goals and my personal goals coincide with one another. Attaining a well paying job and living a life that allows me the freedom to not only make money but pursue my hobbies, (which is photography and videography) is the ultimate goal. However my personal goal is to live a stress free life where I have a new view out of my window every week. At first this dream may sound ignorant, however, the reason why this is my personal dream is so my parents, who do whatever they can to get me what I need, can live vicariously through me and make them proud. I would say there are many driving forces for me to excel in school and my aspiration to attend college. The biggest driving force would have to be my parents, followed by a mix of self motivation and my
I am intrested in gaining my Masters (MS) in Psychology to extend my knowledge within this field and make an impact in society. Graduate school will llow me to understand the human mind and how they all function individually. I aim to teach Psychology and become a Academic advisor at a collegiate level. While choosing a path during my undergraduate studies, I knew that anything I decided to do would make a impact in society and that has become my passion. While taking a few Psychology classes during my undergraduate studies, I was very intrigued with my class Social Psychology as it seemed to involve both Sociology being my major and Psychology. I m intrested in helping the community
Throughout my high school career, I have made it my priority to dedicate my time to academics, athletics, and community service projects. Academically, I strive to maintain my honor roll status which I have achieved since my freshman year. While dedicating my time to rigorous AP and Honors courses I have also been a member of the girl’s winter and spring track team since my freshman year and officially earned varsity status my sophomore year. I have also been an active member of the girl’s cross country team both my junior and senior year. Leadership roles such as these have allowed to me transform into a well rounded, hardworking, and responsible individual, which essentially allowed me to become a member of Barnegat High School’s National
My professional goal is to become a psychiatrist while contributing to brain related research because I believe the brain is one of the most powerful things on earth but our understanding of it is fairly limited. However, in order to reach my professional goals I need to reach my academic goals.
I am enrolled at Wallace Community College Selma, with tasks setb ahead of me and goals set to achieve. Wallace is my foundation to making those goals a reality. My short term goals are for me to get through my freshman year of college, with acceptable grades; also for me to have good grades the second semester. Why am I here at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, and what do you hope to do when you graduate? I am here at the University Of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) to become a college graduate and pursue my goals in my life. UMES has a Pharmacist department and Physician Assistant department, which one I plan to partake in after graduation. I am here to take an advantage on those particular departments to become the future Physician Assistant and or Pharmacist. UMES also have a biology major which I considered due to the fact that biology is required for the career fields in which I am most intrigued by. UMES is also where I received my college credits as a high school student.
Since my childhood I had a habit of noticing people, comprehend the business involved in whatever they do, and compare the same with mine. Maybe because I was raised in a very average family and with a background of being with the common people back in my village, I have always fascinated in creating something new that would change a common man’s life by making it simpler and happening. Engineering was always in my blood from my dad, and I have always wondered how things work, which drove my passion in taking a B Tech as my first step to achieve my final
My goal is to continue my education at Liberty University until completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Administration. I believe God has called me to care for and assist people. I've been part of the health care services over 20 years and can't imagine entering a new field. I will continue to push myself until I reach my goal. Unfortunately, I don't have good study skills, but enjoyed reading the lecture notes and will practice those skills in the future.
What does St. Pius - St. Matthias Academy offer you that will help you reach your future goals? What are your goals after graduating from PMA?
It has taken me transferring out of University and suffering from an injury that ended my soccer career for me to finally end up where I need to be. I have always wanted to be in the medical field. As a little girl I was doing it all, from giving my father an IV to packing wounds on our farm animals. I just recently finished CNA I and never have I loved doing something as much as I enjoyed that. I never realized that I was a people person and going through clincals has opened my eyes to that. I can only imagine the impact that CNA II or even completing the ADN program will have on me, especially after the impact CNA I had on me. I am a very hard worker. I am goal oriented and determined to reach my goals. This scholarship would help me worry
My personal goal statement is to achieve, inspire, and conquer all trials and tribulations. I am traveling down a long and treacherous road full of adventure. On this road, I have encountered working for the State of Tennessee, married, two children, two grandchildren, and still working on my education. I achieve to be the best I can be, inspired by the people around me and will overcome anything that comes in front of me.
Having goals is a very essential part of life; it gives you reason and determination to make a difference if your life. If you don't have goals then you don't have any plan's for your future and if you have no plans for your future then you really have nothing to look forward to. I for one definitely have a few goals set in mind, do you? One personal goal I do have is to get married by the age of 26-27 at the latest, and in connection with that goal; have at least one child before the age of thirty. The reason I decided this as one of my personal goals is because I think about marriage and kids frequently wether I actually want to think about it or not. I am only twenty years of age, but I have been dating my boyfriend for
As a child and even as a teenager one tends to make dreams and set goals for life. On occasion these goals are far stretched and sometimes even fairy-tale like, we tend to see life through a rose-colored glass, not taking into account the many sidetracks life throws our way. At that stage in life our goals tend to be less focused and somewhat unreachable. However, the process of growing up, or maturing, tends organized and center our goals, we learn to make compromises and set goals for our goals. There are different types of goals, short term and long term. I have learned to separate the many goals I have into three main categories: family, professional and personal.
As with most people engaged in this class, I have contemplated the question: what do I want to accomplish with my life? This intricate question burdens many people, not just those of us that have chosen to continue our education. I have seen it with my own children as they contemplate which career path will lead them to a comfortable life with financial stability. My most obvious goal and reason for enrolling in University of Phoenix is like every other student: to complete this program and earn my degree. However, the fruition of my goal ultimately depends on the fulfillment of smaller, more personal ambitions. My first objective was
My academic goal right now is to graduate high school with a 4.0. I plan to push myself to succeed in all my classes in order to achieve that goal. I plan to do so by focusing my time and energy on studying and also, not hesitating in taking up to new experiences in order to maximize my human capital. In addition, my goal is to be able to be self sustaining and independent. I want to be able to put myself to college with minimal parental help. And I plan to do so by work-study and scholarships. One of my biggest career goal is to at least have a bachelors in Computer Science at a prestigious school and to be able
