Write of what parts of the text were the most difficult to read, and to identify how many times a passage was read before some understanding was achieved. What can I say, week five; I have a lot of mental distress … just kidding, not the truth is that my mind is getting back together after dealing with so many samples and numbers ( as usual). Just like previous weeks a lot of material to cover, some of the topics like exponential functions were not that difficult to comprehend but they looked so hard to do in the book that unless you read the explanation multiple times and really pay attention to all the details, I do not think it will be easy to figure them out, wait what is that I am saying? … that is always the case with math and algebra, see what I mean my I am still having problems making sense, my brain is continues recuperating. …show more content…
I am still having trouble when it comes to solve fractions especially if the are in parenthesis, of course I always have a weapon to use when it comes to this and this week was not the exception, I am talking about my friends the videos, man like I repeatedly said they do help a lot especially when you see something for the first time like for me the level of difficulty presented in chapter five for the log functions, I have never been exposed to resolve anything like it , I have to say though I know the whole mechanism behind it now, but unless I keep practicing I do not thing they will stick in my head, we will
Of the many techniques people use to reduce stress, yoga is among one of the more popular. Although some may believe that effects of yoga are merely physical, there is research that suggests that yoga has direct impacts on one’s mental state. According to Forbes, in addition to the benefits on the heart and blood flow, yoga helps release dopamine and gaba and serotonin (Walton, 2012). All of these are known to create feeling of happiness in a person (K. W. Brown, personal communication, Sept. 7). For this lab, I decided I would try yoga for myself to test the results.
Congratulations on stepping into one of the most significant of the weeks in a woman’s pregnancy period, the week twelve! This is a significant week for any pregnant woman due to the fact that it marks the end of the first tri- semester and also ends the most crucial and important stage of the baby’s development and growth phase.
I found the central tendencies, the 5-point summary and the standard deviation of both of my variables; including for the variable that has data for 2 years. Interestingly, the variables had some common results. However, there were more differences then similarities, as each calculation had a variety of results. For example, variable X I calculated both years (1990 and 2012) and I knew already that each country had major differences between the two, but I think that affected the results in each step (the central tendencies, the 5-point summary and the standard deviation). It is noticeable to see how the mean and median in 1990 is lower than the mean in 2012, and this carried out through the rest of the next calculations. Comparing these findings to variable Y, I see that there is a tremendous
I have been working as an engineer on a defense project of a large industrial company that uses money funded by the taxpayer. My duty is to review the satisfactoriness and tasks of the subcontractors. While working, I informed to my superiors about finding some problems on submissions of one of the subcontractors and I requested them to reject such work. Sadly, they rejected my request instead of solving the issue. However, I continued to suggest them to go through as per the specifications of the project because the project was funded by public’s money. Due to my several requests, my managers have kept me under their supervision for three months. They want me to improve my job performance
L 3: Suppose that you find a reproducible failure that doesn't look very serious. Describe the four tactics presented in the lecture for testing whether the defect is more serious than it first appeared. As a particular example, suppose that the display got a little corrupted (stray dots on the screen, an unexpected font change, that kind of stuff) in PowerPoint when you drag the scroll bar up and down. Describe four follow-up tests that you would run, one for each of the tactics that you listed above.
It all started when we decided to go on a trip to Oahu on a charter plane. We thought it would be fun, that it would be really cool to climb Diamond Head and go to a luau. Oh boy were we wrong. While we were in the plane, Nathan noticed that the wing was on fire. We all grabbed a parachute and we grabbed a rope, hatchet, dinghy, flint, twelve cans of food, sleeping bags, tent, and a water sack. We all jumped out successfully, one after the other. Nathan jumped first and opened his parachute successfully with the dinghy and flint. I did the same with the tent and water sac. But when Roene jumped out with the canned food and sleeping bag and tried to open her parachute it didn’t open! ROENE WAS FALLING FROM THE SKY AND THERE WAS A CHANCE THAT SHE COULD HAVE

Your patient voices concern about her upcoming visit. Explain how her memory could be affecting the concern. Also, explain how conditioning can affect attitudes toward healthcare. Describe some major strategies that contribute to memory retention, and give an example of each.

This week was a busy week, my Supervisor gave me several tasks to finish for this week.
The writer Paul addresses the Galatians, "Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is. and he goes on to explain to them, "Don't be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead be filled with the Holy Spirit. The scripture also tells us to, "Cast all your anxiety upon him, because he cares for you. Be sober-minded and alert. Your advisary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in your faith and in the knowledge that your
As we know many government agencies collect wide varieties of healthcare data for many different reasons. The State of Georgia Department of Health and Human Services also collects variety of data from the Georgia population. The DHHS of Georgia runs The Georgia Poison Center (GPC) to collects, and analyzes poison related data from all over the State of Georgia. The GPC then publishes these data on their website and through other media for GA residents (June 2013 GPC).This is very helpful information for everyone but specifically useful for consumers and health care professionals. The GPC provides all kinds of poison related statistics danger for people on their website. The agency posts substances that cause human and even pediatric exposure. For instance they have posted consumer drugs, household cleaning substances, cosmetics/personal care products, pesticides, toys and such to just name few. For consumers, this is very useful information for daily living since most people use these products. I can use this information for
Week ten focused on test prep. I completed the exam preparation self-assessment form to see where I scored. I got a 23 which is the range labeled, “You seem to be on target with your exam preparation skills. Be sure to continue your positive habits and be aware of which techniques do/do not work for your individual needs.” One area I scored high on was the first row about consistently reviewing course material even after learning new material. I’m usually just trying to keep up with new information to study for the next exam. There isn’t much time to review old stuff. Perhaps returning to old content when I see something in the new content I have learned before and can’t remember, would make sense. The other point I scored high on was writing down main points in the margin for essay exams before writing. We don’t have essay exams and I’ve always just started writing without jotting points down beforehand. I don’t see how that would be bad. I think what’s hardest about test prep is planning all your study time to feel good going into the exam.
ASSIGNMENT: Set up some quiet time with a friend or family member and read your favorite chapter to them out loud. Then discuss the reading; find out what their thoughts and perceptions were. Write down responses in your journal. Also, think about how the language sounded as you spoke it.
I received the midterm from her hand and started it immediately. To my misfortune, I realized that there were multiple problems that I had no clue how to solve. Anxious thoughts flooded through my brain,
