As your pregnancy progresses in the last trimester you will feel more and more tired with every passing day. The fatigue you experience is attributed to the extra weight you are carrying and the strain on your back. Remember to be kind to your body and take as many breaks as you can manage through the day. You might have days when you feel you can run a mile and then there will be days when you just want to sit in front of the television. Cash in on the good days and get some amount of physical activity incorporated into your routine so as to keep your muscles conditioned.

You might feel pressure in your lower pelvis when your baby moves into a head-down position. The pressure feels like a slight tingling sensation or a slight numbness. Although uncomfortable and scary, it is not indicative of any complication.
Acid reflux, indigestion and heartburn are also common during week 34.

Monitoring the head circumference after a vacuum assisted delivery is a crucial part in detection of subgaleal hemorrhages. While performing newborn assessments and doing the ordered head measuring assessing the infant’s circulation, through capillary refill and pulses, palpating the head for any “bogginess”, and assessing and monitoring any edema along the suture lines of the infant’s skull are also crucial for early detection of SGH (Modanlou, 2010). It is also if there is a suspicion or confusion on if the feeling of the infant’s head is a hemorrhage or some other anomaly, acting fast is key in prevent further damage and working towards treated the SGH. Measuring the head circumference is an effective, nonintrusive and noninvasive way to detect the start, or possibly a prolonged, sugaleal hemorrhage following a vacuum assisted vaginal delivery if the assessment is taking place hourly for at least 8 hours following delivery (Modanlou, 2010).

It is difficult to believe that this is already week three of this course, maybe the saying of how quick time can fly by when it is doing something fun is slightly true. In all actuality one has never really thought of math as fun, however, when the so-called light bulb goes from being dim to slightly a bit brighter it does provide a sense of gratification that just possibly one is, getting it or in the very least some of it. This week’s topics that covered discrete and continuous variables along with the various probability distributions was to say the least interesting and somewhat of a challenge. Yet, the more I read peers responses to the discussion questions and additional reading it was a bit clearer although, it is of the belief that one is not one hundred percent on some of it. With that being said, there was as mentioned moments which the light bulb became a bit brighter; when one could relate to the bell shape curve concept and the new concept of Altman’s z-score formula.
It is at this phase that the baby comes to a head down pose and lays in the pelvis area and which in turn results in reducing the pressure on your ribs, lungs and chest more. However, this actually now pressurizing your bladder in the turn of events. This results into repeated visits to the washroom as the need and want to urinate increase.
**Hormonal changes** occur throughout pregnancy. During your third trimester, high levels of relaxin hormones are working to help loosen your pelvic joints, in preparation for childbirth. This, and the fact that you're carrying a significant amount
Sandy, I enjoyed reading through your response and I agreed with many the important principles you were able to glean from the chapters. It was valuable for the Brice family to be to have the choice to continue therapy. The family was given the independence to choose to continue or discontinue the therapy. Your second observation regarding Napier and Whitaker’s thoughts on how couples aid each other in poor behavior was another concepts I found to be interesting as well. One of the main points I was able to glean from the chapter was that an individual may choose someone who they sense, unconsciously, the potential for a crisis which will force the individual to face their own central fears. The concept of choose a mate based off an unconscious

This week was a busy week, my Supervisor gave me several tasks to finish for this week.
Your baby’s muscles start functioning in synchronization with her brain. Hence her movements are not random jerks anymore; you will feel those movements as deliberate and strong. For example, you may feel a lot of kicking and wriggling when you lie down in particular positions. Believe it or not, your baby does not like those postures and is kicking you to find a comfortable position within your womb.
I experienced many symptoms while wearing the belly. The most noticeable symptom I noticed was my heart rate. Having a heart condition and wearing the belly probably wasn’t the best idea since it cause my heart rate to increase and I had a palpitation. It makes me wonder what it would be like if I was actually pregnant. Would I be able to carry a baby without it drastically effecting my health? I noticed that it was harder than normal to breathe because of the metal balls on my ribs. I was sweaty and felt like walking from class to class was a chore. The only part of my body that actually hurt was my ribs because of the balls.
When I first put the empathy belly on I felt a whole bunch of weight hit my stomach and I had to catch my breath for a moment. Plus, the breast part of the thing was putting pressure against mine and it kind of hurt a little. For a second I was scared to move because I didn’t want to fall over. I was trying to imagine how much more it would be if we had to carry all the weight.
While exercise may not be able to eliminate all of the discomfort associated with pregnancy, it can help with circulation, digestion, and constipation, as well as improve posture and muscle tone, which you will need to support joints that are loosened by various hormones as your body prepares for childbirth. Additionally, exercise can counteract the changes in body image and self-esteem that you possess. Most importantly, an appropriate exercise program can help prepare for the mental and physical demands of labor and delivery.
