Surviving a Zombie Apocalypse
This essay is about what can be done in the event of a zombie apocalypse. I will be telling you about a location, structure and also weapons that can be used. I will be describing the positives as well as drawbacks to these things. This is not a manual nor is it a story. It is simply a what-if in this situation. The best location would have to be the Alaskan wilderness. There are lots of sources here for food and fresh drinking water and not a very populated area. It has lots of wooded areas for hunting and plenty of mountains. The wooded mountainous areas will be great for the cover to be hidden. Being a less populated area should make for less run-ins with zombies and or the living. It has plenty of fresh water source for fishing and drinking water. The biggest drawback for this location would be the fierce

The best thing about this weapon is that you can always make more arrows so you don’t have to worry about running out of ammo. The next weapon would be a machete because you can use this for close range encounters with a zombie. You can also use this for clearing trails or preparing foods as well as getting firewood. The last weapon would have to be a pistol for not so close range situations and this can also be used for hunting smaller game if it’s an absolute have to. The biggest drawback would be from the pistol and that is running out of ammo. The machetes drawback would be having to only use up close and chance being bitten.
In conclusion, in the event of a zombie apocalypse this is the best place to go if there is any chance of survival. It will be hidden and away from most people as well as zombies. The winter will be fierce, but there are lots of resources to make it a sustainable and reliable long term
My location that I chose was St Elmo, an abandoned town. It was abandoned for the mining use of it. The mines in the town as people say; it “dried up.” So now the town is classified as an abandoned town. The town of St elmo had a fire; the fire wipe out a few buildings. Since the town itself is a tourist attraction some locals who apparently still live in the town rebuilt some structures. The townspeople rebuilt the general store and one other building. The town has a few advantages for taking refuge there. Position of where the town is located makes it the perfect seclusion. There won’t be a lot of raids from well of course raiders. If an raider does come the people and the top 12 council members may hide in the mines. Whether of this location
There are different kinds of maps you could use, like a Road Map, Physical Map, Climate Map, Political Map, Economic Map, and Climate Map, which would all be useful in the event of a zombie apocalypse. A compass would be useful so that you know what way you are traveling. Another thing that would be helpful is the use of paper, pencils, and pens. Hand sketches would be better than having it on an electronic. It would be better than having on a computer because if the electronics stop working, then you would have none of your information anymore. Of course, weapons would be useful, so that you can fight the zombies. They would also be useful so you can fight invaders, and also, the could help you get
Okay so we split the community into two sections, the younger folks get the left side and the older folks get the right side, only crossing the other side to eat or if there’s an emergency. Everyone 15 and up is equipped with a weapon of some sort and we begin teaching kids to shoot as early as the age of ten. We use 40% of our land for farming/grazing, the animals have to eat somehow and since it rains regularly in Upwood, a lot of people have gardens and they enjoy feeding the animals, who live in the medium-sized barn. The only time people leave Upwood is for basic necessities like food, water, clothes, etc. Everyone is Upwood is equipped with a weapon so every time a person leaves, they leave in groups of 4-6 and everyone in our community is pretty quiet when it comes to leaving so we don’t attract any unwanted attention. Well in order to overcome the challenges to feeding a world population, we’d have to kill all the zombies and figure out how to get the world back to
No book has captivated the zombie apocalypse better than World War Z. Max Brooks creatively presents “a worldwide zombie pandemic from outbreak to aftermath” (Boyd, Tristan). His book encompasses many social and political themes in the world today. The book
Central Wisconsin is a mind field full of haunted places. One of the bigger cities in Central Wisconsin I consider is Steven’s Point and there are a lot of place
Society has fallen, and we must leave the dead zone. Grimm Territory is risky to go into. Because of the rising sea level, many areas are out of the picture. After much consideration, we decided to got to Louisiana. We decided to Louisiana because it is a safe distance from the dead zone, it has fertile soil, and has plenty of resources to live off of.
In the novel Catch-22, by Joseph Heller, the setting is Pianosa, a small island off the coast of northwestern Italy. Though in the novel it is large enough to support a military base and village, in real life it is much smaller. Historically, it was the location of a maximum security prison that held Mafia-level criminals, whereas now it is just a protected part of the Arcipelago Toscano National Park. Because of it being protected, little happens on the island today, which is compounded by the fact that cell phones do not work on it. Even Pianosa’s terrain, which was once undeveloped woodland, has been turned by human activity into grassy plains. Outside of Catch-22, the island has little habitation.
A zombie apocalypse is most definitely not a very friendly world. It is hard to find friends who aren’t going to shoot you on sight, and if you do find somebody, a thorough body inspection is in for the both of you. So what should you do, if the situation ever arises? I will explain to you the Do’s and Do not’s of a zombie apocalypse.
There are many political theories in the world today. Drezner addresses how realism, liberalism, constructivism, neo-conservatism, and bureaucratic politics would face the threat of a zombie apocalypse throughout his book. Each theory presented with the possibility of a world where the dead walk amongst the living and feed on their flesh, and then Drezner would elaborate on how each political theory would unfold if the world were to decide to pursue that particular political theory. This elaboration helps us determine if the world could even survive a zombie apocalypse. Although many people would ask is the threat of a zombie apocalypse even a
People should start preparing for the apocalypse. Not the end apocalypse but the Walker apocalypse-A.K.A The zombie apocalypse if you are not a fan of the walking dead.
First off, zombies are a figment of our imagination, beings made purely for our enjoyment. The zombie apocalypse is also made up. A land of horror made simply for the zombies. A land brim full of death and decay. Many games are made to show the land with a physical form. But none of them would come close to how frightening the experience would be if that world was real. If we were to experience this full on, the ‘player’ would be much, much more frightened because they wouldn’t know what to do, I sure as heck would be. Weapons wouldn’t be lying around and such for you like within games. So, dear ‘player’, let me tell you a few tips to survive a world of ‘deceased’ fiction.
In the possible occurrence of a zombie apocalypse, certain measures involving shelter, food, weapons, and fitness should be taken to better the chances of survival in such a desperate situation. Throughout the years, movies, television shows, and other miscellaneous hype have heightened a large number of people’s suspicion about the possibility of disease-ridden humans taking over the world. In reality, that atrocity is not exactly far-fetched. With so many vaccines and medicines being mass produced without the sufficient steps taken to test the results, the chance of humans contracting unimaginable side effects is a rational possibility. If
The day started like that of any other these last couple of weeks. Mysterious incidents kept popping up in the news, of small groups going mad and becoming savage. Life was like that in Lampeter. Very little going on in town, whilst the whole world around us lives with a constant stream of danger. Some people were getting worried, afraid it was some sort of virus going around, but that happens all the time. One small case of a disease and the world’s in an epidemic. Happened with bird flu, E-coli, and we had just got over the joys of swine flu. Now this. Some people were becoming wary, uneasy around other people, fears of catching this mystery virus afflicting the nation and forcing its way into people’s minds. The unfortunate thing was,
Survival and disaster preparation are relevant in the stories in the novel. Several interviews, especially those from the United States, focus on policy changes designed to train the surviving Americans to fight the zombies and rebuild the country. For example, when cities were made to be as efficient as possible in order to fight the zombies, the art of using real places and locations to describe these disasters, or when the ultra-rich hide in their homes, which had been turned into fortified compounds, they were overwhelmed by others trying to get in, leading to mass slaughter. Throughout the novel, characters demonstrate the physical and mental requirements needed to survive a disaster. There were so many disasters that can be related to the outrageous earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcano eruptions, etc. Zombie apocalypse can most likely be a reality through the spread a deadly virus. Brooks described the large amount of research needed to find optimal methods for fighting a worldwide zombie outbreak.
A valuable lesson you hope to pass on to the next late night pedestrian you and your new friends come across; Underestimating the potential for a zombie outbreak is a highly dangerous (and foolish) activity. Preparedness is something one can never have too much of when considering an epidemic of the walking dead. Some of the basics are: Assessing the potential for a zombie outbreak at any given time, knowing the four types of zombies and how to respond to each (an absolute must), and most importantly, you need to have a plan.
