Pollution is the presence in or introduction into the environment of a substance or thing that has harmful or poisonous effects. The are many forms of pollution such as air pollution, water pollution, thermal pollution, noise pollution, and light pollution. Pollution is one of the world’s biggest problems today. It messes up the environment and leaves many affected even people and animals.
Pollution is a problem because it affects the environment. People are affected because air pollution can cause heart disease, strokes, and lung diseases such as chronic, bronchitis and asthma. It is a problem for older people and animals. Pollution is caused by burning fossil fuels such as coal, oil, gas, and gasoline used for electricity and to power our vehicles. Some countries have plans to tighten air pollution, like China has a 5 year plan to radically tighten air pollution targets.
A potential solution could be to stop burning things and dumping stuff into the ocean. The current pollution status of pollution is that pollution has become a major global concern due to rapid growth of industrialization, urbanization, etc. In the future we can expect pollution to get worse because most people don’t care about the environment. Donald Trump’s view on pollution is that he does not believe in global warming he think it is made up.
Pollution is one of the world’s biggest problems today.
I think if people try more to stop it then the world could be a little better. Pollution is causing
Air pollution is a big problem in our world today because it affects our lives on earth as well as animals and plants. Breathing polluted air can make you very sick it can cause your eyes and nose to burn. It can irritate your throat and even make your breathing difficult. Air pollution is a big environmental problem because it is affecting our crops, trees, wildlife, and lakes/oceans. Pollution is harming fish and other aquatic life in those bodies of water.
Pollution may muddy landscapes, poison soils and waterways, or kill plants and animals. Humans are also regularly harmed by pollution. Long-term exposure to air pollution, for example, can lead to chronic respiratory disease, lung cancer and other diseases. Toxic chemicals that accumulate in top predators can make some species unsafe to eat.
Pollution is one of the biggest global killers, affecting nearly 100 million people. Pollution comes in many different forms and affects the world and the environment in many different ways. Along with the best known pollutants such as water, air, and land, there are other pollutants that many people do not know much about. These include light, noise, thermal, and household pollution and are all just as damaging as the most known ones. Pollution is an introduction of a harmful or poisonous substance into the environment that has a negative effect on life around it. Pollution is deadly, and it is destroying the only world suitable for life. Pollution is a
Air pollution are impacting the environment, and it is imperative that laws are enforced to help build and sustain a better air quality. Air pollutants can be in the form of particulate matter which can be very harmful to our health. Stimulation to our eyes, nose, throat, and breathing infections such as bronchitis and pneumonia are all short-term effects. You’re head might hurt, you might want to puke, and you might have allergic reactions. Short-term air pollution can put people with asthma and emphysema in a worse condition. Long lasting breathing disease, lung cancer, heart disease, and even damage to your brains, nerves, livers, or kidneys are all long-term effects. If you’re exposed to air pollution continuously, it would affect children’s lungs and may complicate medical conditions for the elders. Some people argue and deny the bad air problem. They claim that pollution may actually be good for the Earth. The hazy weather caused by pollution has made plants far more productive when it comes to scrubbing greenhouse gasses out of the air. Pollution has turned plants into better carbon dioxide processing machines. But this is bad for our own health. Pollution is causing global warming which leads to massive ice land melting. Polar bears and other animals that live there are losing there habitats and even dying. Melting ice could also lead to more sea water which would bury some cities or land near the coastal areas. There is already a tremendous amount of people on this planet. If our land decreases, and our population continues to increase, some people would have to start living on another planet; therefore, making it a priority to address the areas
Diseases caused by pollution (Asthma)- Asthma , which is a lung condition, is due to air pollution which can cause us some issues breathing. A few reports within the UK say asthma ‘kills 40000 a year’. Pollution make people more open to dangerous chemicals such as, carbon monoxide which can cause poisoning. Symptoms of asthma are:
There are many types of pollution, some examples are ocean and air pollution. Ocean and air pollution are serious issues that has been going on for years. Until today, pollution is still occurring and still considered a threat to the environment and people. Air pollution is when enormous amount of dust and gasses combine. On the other hand, ocean pollution is when marine animals and lifestyle are being affected due to natural and human activities. There are consequences to humans and animals if these types of pollutions are not solved. It can also cause a shorter life span for the majority of the people. Pollution is a critical issue, sadly people are not wised enough to care and act upon this situation.
To better understand the subject, we need to define the term air pollution. Air pollution is the presence in or introduction into the air of a substance which has harmful or poisonous effects. These substances linger and cause many adverse problems. Humans and other living creations rely on the atmosphere for reparation. When air quality is dampened by pollution, immediate and long-term consequences take place. Pollution has caused allergies, disease, damage to crops, and even death. It is important that we fully understand the causes, problems, and possible
Pollution is caused by people littering, throwing their trash everywhere, wasting energy, and burning fuel from vehicles. Pollution effects all animals and plants from around the world. It can harm them and kill them. Some animals have gone extinct because of pollution, thanks to humans. To be exact, over 11 species of animals have gone extinct because of pollution, Not to mention people have died too! How much? Well, about 6.5 million people have mainly because of respiratory problems (lung cancer caused by air pollution) . Yea, its really bad. Pollution has been around for a long time in the U.S since the mid-19 centuries. It got worse because of the industrial revolution. This caused the air and water to become polluted because of all of the manufacturing factories, which uses coal for their factories and threw their waste
Pollution can affect everyone globally, and how there are many health issues that goes with that
At the first, what is air pollution? The air pollution is contamination of air by the discharge of harmful substances. We’ve got many pollutants, which cause air pollution. Like carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, lead and many more. All of these pollutants can cause lot of illnesses, like cancer, birth defects, brain and nerve damage, long-term injury to the
Environmental pollution is a term that refers to all the ways by which people pollute their surroundings. People dirty the air with gases and smoke, poison the water with chemicals and other substances, and damage the soil with too many fertilizers and pesticides: People also pollute their surroundings in various other ways. For example, they ruin natural beauty by scattering junk and litter on the land and in the water. They operate machines and motor vehicles that fill the air with disturbing noise. Nearly everyone causes pollution in some way.
There are many types of pollution. Water, thermal, air, and even noise pollution. While all types of pollution need to be addressed, the most damaging types of pollution plaguing today's society is air and thermal pollution. Air pollution is the contamination of air that people breath in every day which causes many health problems that will only worsen over time. Thermal pollution is the process of taking water from a body of water, using it to cool things like machines, and then dumping the water back to its source, while it is still warmed. The main effect of these problems is the rising rates of lung-related health issues, the rising average global temperature, and the loss of animal and plant species along with their habitats.
According to the Environmental Pollution Centers (2017) air pollution is the presence of toxic chemicals or compounds that are released in the air at levels that can pose a health risk to animals, humans and ecosystems. It was also mentioned from the Environmental Pollution Centers (2017) that these chemicals and compounds that are normally not present in the air can lower the quality of the air and can cause other environmental health issues such as damage to the ozone layer and climate/global warming.
Air pollution should be addressed more seriously, because it is the deadliest of pollutions killing millions of per year around the world. The pollutants in our environment are mainly caused by the burning of fossil fuels. Air pollution has a massive impact on the environment. It also has an negative impact on the human body. Air pollution can be prevented by performing many simple tasks. Air pollution is extremely dangerous to the human body and the environment and should be dealt with more seriously. The burning of fossil fuels is the main cause of air pollution.
Pollution is the introduction of harmful substances or products into the environment. It is a major problem in America and as well as the world. Pollution not only damages the environment, but damages us also. It has cause many problems ranging from lung cancer to the greenhouse effect. It is all among us but we continue to live in our own filth. What is the reason behind this flawed logic? In this paper I will examine the problems and solutions for this issue.
