My name is Takeyra Willis. I am twenty years old and the youngest of three daughters. I graduated in the year 2014 from Hernando High School with Honors. Now, I’m a registered student that’s enrolled at PHSC. Over my past three years attending PHSC, I have been studying to receive my AA degree in Associate in Art. Hopefully, shortly after receiving my AA degree, I would like to start studying for a degree in Early Childhood Development. So, that I can work with young children.

I am dual enrolled at Macomb Community College, earning 22-23 transferable college credits. I have a job and work quite a bit. My mom is a single mother of four children with no child support. This has forced me to grow up a lot faster than I should have. I essentially support myself financially which has made it tough past few years but I would not trade it for anything.

My english teacher told us a story about how she told her daughter not to touch the stove top because it was hot, but she still did it. Even though she got hurt it served a purpose,but now I bet that she will never did it again.
