"Amazing things you find when you bother to search for them" Sacagawea was an extremely important leader. She helped Lewis and Clark explore much of the West, while still caring for her child. Sacagawea was such an amazing leader because was intelligent, she persevered, she was trustworthy, and she was courageous.

There are many influential people in the world. Influential people impact others by helping those in need, being a positive role model, and changing the world around them. An individual who fits those qualities is Dr. Sara Josephine Baker. Dr. Josephine Baker is influential because of her accomplishments, her character, and the influences in her life.

There are millions of people in this world, in fact, many are influential. These people have a positive impact on the world by inspiring many people who need to show off their beliefs, accomplishments, and make a legacy that everyone soon should know. Abby Wambach, she shows these traits by letting the world know what she believes in and what she has accomplished, she is not afraid to show herself to the world. Abby Wambach is influential because of her beliefs, her athletic accomplishments, and her legacy.

4. When I was growing up, Disney's Pocahontas was one of my favorite movies. While I knew that Disney's version of the story was not completely true, I never actually researched John Smith and Pocahontas to learn the truth behind the real story. So, when I read John Smith's letter to the queen this week I was surprised at some of the content. First, I did not know that Pocahontas was so young, only 12 or 13, when she met John Smith. His letter depicts that they were "friends" rather than romantically involved. So, with the idea of the romance between the two depicted by the Disney movie, that fact was bizarre to me. There are many people that are influential in the world. Those people impact the world in a positive way by them being nice, donating things needed and making a difference. For example, an individual that shows these traits would be Alexandra Scott. Alex is influential because of her accomplishments, admirable qualities, and heroic acts.

Some historical, figures are remembered for their actions, for example Napoleon, while others are remembered for their for their intent for example Charles de Gaulle. Every historic figure remembers differently depending on what they did, however it does not matter if the person had a massive impact or if they only made a dent in the end they are all equal because they have accomplished or almost accomplished something that could not be forgotten. Amelia Simmons became an important historic figure, especially in culinary history, because she wrote American Cookery, the real reason behind her writing American Cookery and how American cookery was one of the first stepping stones for creating a diverse world.

There were several notable American Indians who played a large role in helping the British settlers survive in the colonies. However, one of the most well-known Indians is Pocahontas. Her kind-hearted personality towards the Jamestown settlers likely saved their lives from starvation, as well as the life of their leader.

She has risen from a poor background and was ranked the richest African American of the 20th Century, the greatest black philanthropist in American history and was once the world’s only black billionaire. She is also known as the most influential woman in the world, both older generations and young.

[1] Disney’s Pocahontas has understandably received a lot of flak about the historically inaccurate story that is told about the legendary Pocahontas and Captain John Smith. There is a good reason for that. The movie does little that can be construed as historically accurate, yet Disney claims that was never their intent. Disney, in their previous movies, has been attacked for being racist and unsympathetic to racial minorities. Their answer was a movie whose sole purpose, as stated by Disney, was to promote racial tolerance. The question is, then can a movie promote racial tolerance when the issue is built on false history, history that if told accurately would depict the exact opposite?

Pocahontas’s life dates back to the early 15th century during European exploration in America. She was the daughter of a powerful chief and a historical figure admired by the English, because of the aid she provided to the colonists. Her relationship with John Smith, life in England, and the influence she had on culture, are widely debated topics. Despite the great stories of Pocahontas western culture portrays, most of the events in Pocahontas’s life are misconceptions.

Zora Neale Hurston left a legacy and here are a couple reasons why. She left a legacy because she was a person who wanted women to have a better life in America because she had to fight for what she believe in and that women will fight for what they believe in and not let people say something that will take away from what they believe in.

For my research project, I would like to know more about Pocahontas. Ever since I was little, I was absolutely fascinated with the movie “Pocahontas” not just because it was about a beautiful woman who interacted with white people, but because she carried so much strength and culture that I would really like to know more about. Even at such a young age, the difference between Pocahontas and I was really emphasized in the movie. I don’t think this is necessarily the case. On the other hand, I have a little bit of indigenous blood in me, so I would like to learn about what it’s like to be someone like Pocahontas. Specifically, I would like to know about her life and her timeline. I want to know what she did to participate with her family, and

Can you believe it? Some people discover resemblance between themselves and a character from a book or a movie. I found some similarities between Pocahontas and me. Some correspondences we have together are that we both love to explore nature, we are both brave, and we both express our feelings freely. Comparing myself to a character from a book or movie is difficult, but I love the character I compare myself to.
