The mission of the Pulaski First is to provide comprehensive, integrated and multi-faceted substance abuse treatment in one facility that can sustain clients and guide them through their lifecycle of addition.

I am not currently in field so I will discuss my orientation process of my current job. When I begin my employment with the court system a year and half ago I was not given in formal manual on the duties of my job but there was a six-week hand on boarding process. These processes include me shadowing my colleague to learn her process to prepare and conduct court. This extensive onboarding process definitely made me feel prepared to do my job. This onboarding process also help to reassure that while I may have not known the specific policies regarding the courts, I did however have an extensive body of knowledge accumulate through work experiences about substance abuse and dual diagnosed clients.

Once an employee attends New Hire Onboarding and the manager has requested the new employee to become registered with NMLS due to the job responsibilities including originating mortgage loans, the following steps must be completed:

I have decided to write about myself even though I feel it's a tiny bit narcissistic. The artifact that I have created is my own literary work a book named "Purged: Cleansing of the Spirit" under my pen name Victory Hale. My book is an artifact because it is created by a human, it is literature and it serves no primarily functional purpose, it embodies creative expression. My book is about my life and times spent as a child living in poverty with two very abuse parents. The book grows up with me as I become an adult, mother to my children. It tells the tale of how I broke free from the abuse and all that had harmed me.

I think with any crime there should definitely be some sort of physical evidence to help convict a person. Time after time, victims tend to forget or add false details because they are so traumatized by the incident. This is why prosecutors should have complete physical evidence to convict someone else. Too many people are wrongfully accused for crimes they never committed and like the movie their lives never go back to normal. No amount of money in the world could ever get back the time lost away from family and friends, or help correct the life they may have had if they weren’t wrongly convicted. To address this growing issue, Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services (PCHAS) offers Ashley House, its Transitional Living Program (TLP) to young women. Girls are victimized at a much higher rate than boys are which renders them more likely to be victims of sexual abuse and sexual assault. Girls also tend to internalize their response to trauma by harming themselves and abusing drugs and alcohol. They suffer from depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) at a much higher rate than young boys do. Girls’ experiences and responses place them at risk of many negative outcomes, including teen pregnancy, sex trafficking and involvement with the justice system.

The first item on my list was a box of bandages which I could not find to match an African American woman’s skin. Something interesting I did find was if I had been looking for a child’s band aid I could buy a box of McStuffins band aids 20 count for $2.78 or I could choose Disney Princesses for $2.17. Both are Disney products that I would have thought should have sold for the same price, which makes me look at the difference of what was pictured on the package front.
