His essay is not well structured. He talks about how people involve constantly without providing thesis at the beginning and suddenly starts talking about what old philosophers said and then moving on to limits of authenticity to self- perception (1-3). He puts random ideas and examples that impel over the readers heads and make them confused about what to believe. Starting off without the main idea/ message, then philosophies to paradoxes and so to make the readers cramped and baffled. Readers always want to get the main point of the reader, and if they get lost, they lose interest.
I can identify a strength of the essay is that he doesn’t get off the topic often. He touches about wealth and how that isn’t the true source of happiness but quickly closes on the subject and goes back to the good that we are seeking. Another example where he does this was towards the end, he briefly talks about sleep is an inactivity of the soul. He clearly dismisses the subject by pointing out its irrelevance. This makes the essay easier to follow. Another strength that I notice was he used the

Anyone could read this essay, but if you don 't agree you might be offended. Yes, he does state a lot of facts, but his opinions are a major part too. His opinion is most of the essay saying that the people accusing of culture appropriation don 't really know the meaning. They are just looking for something to say,

Greek philosopher Plato’s account of the end of fellow philosopher Socrates’ life in The Trial and Death of Socrates includes a plethora of philosophical theories and ideas, but the one that stands out the most is none other than what is known as the Euthyphro Paradox. Found in the “Euthyphro” section of the book, Socrates brings up the idea of what is actually considered pious, or moral, by asking what exactly makes those things pious in the first place. More specifically, Socrates asks Euthyphro: “Is the pious being loved by the gods because it is pious, or is it pious because it is being loved by the gods?” (Plato 11).

Sitting on one side of the long study table, Lachlan was digging into his books with vigour. There was so much good information on this subject and his mind was spinning with different ideas of what approach he could take on the subject. The only thing that was interrupting his fun was the sun. He longed to spend this sunny day practicing his sword fighting for the spring festival. He sighed and turned back to his books. At least the essay was interesting.
This essay really does appeal to all three of the ethos, logos, and pathos. He talks about so many different things that appeal to people in different ways. He uses ethos when he talks about his position in the United States. He talks about logos when he talks about why we need peace and all of the points also appeal to logos. Finally it appeals to pathos by talking about why we entered the war and the point of all of this.

The last paragraph of his essay he changes his pronoun usage to “you” in order to make the audience realize that he has spoken his part on his feelings toward education and now it’s left to the audience to continue. “It is your responsibility to change society if you think of yourself as an educated person.” He continues to end his essay with a bright and inspiring tone using repetition and the example of what he would do if he was a teacher. In this paper I will be discussing the concept of the paradox, examples from Zeno and McTaggart, and how modern science has potential solved the paradox put forth by McTaggart. Both of these paradoxes have a enormous repercussion on how objective fact about the world can be understood. I claim that McTaggart’s theory of time can be solved by modern physics as Einstein’s theory of relativity makes time a relative factor in how time is understood.
I think that the point of his essay was to express his point that no matter what we have to strive for excellence and settle for nothing less than what we feel we deserve. He came back to his roots and grew from his past experiences much the same way that I have
