It takes hard work, grit, and dedication to be the best. That is exactly what the Philadelphia Eagles have done over the last 18 years and it is truly incredible. Over the last 18 years the eagles have won 8 NFC East conference along with a superbowl win in the previous 2017 season. The adversity of losing their starting quarterback Carson Wentz, who led the league in Touchdowns as well as QBR before his season getting cut short due to a torn ACL. The eagles were riding high through the first thirteen weeks of the season until this unforeseen tragedy occured. But to be the best you must have the next man up personality in order to achieve greatness, that is exactly what QB 2, Nick Foles did. He expected to see no playing time during the season due to Carson’s MVP campaign year. But the seasoned vet was brought in to backup Carson Wentz at the beginning of the season due to the fact that the Eagles front office knew Nick would be ready if called upon. It was week 13, the Eagles were down two touchdowns, but Carson stayed relentless. To begin the game, the Eagles received the ball first and it was a perfect opening drive for Wentz and the offense.
