Have you ever thought that pollution is like cancer for the mother earth?
I am here to talk to you about better way of lifestyle that changes the whole future of our planet regarding pollution and global warming.
“CO2 gas emissions” is a mystical term which everyone should pay attention to. C02 gas is a colorless, odorless gas that is present in the atmosphere and is formed when any fuel containing carbon is burned. Plants and trees are using it in the process of photosynthesis. Carbon dioxide is also used in refrigeration, fire extinguishers, and carbonated drinks. In other words this is the gas we need to fight with! By using fossil fuels in almost everything we do, we make a huge cloud of gas and this is warming up the world. By doing this, we cause serious damage to the nature and we may have an irreversible effect on it and the future.
As you now understand that we need to fight with it, I am going to tell you some ways to do it.
First of all, reduce the time you are in the car and use your legs to move .Use Bikes! People are getting lazier as time goes, but you can make the change. If you walk more, you help your planet and you help yourself, so why not to do it?
Take care about your garden. Those are the filters of our caused high levels of gas. Mother nature knows how to cure the world, so let’s help a little bit. Did you know that every 2 seconds a football field of forest is gone in the world? It takes minutes to destroy it,
Abstract: The pressing issue of climate change is attributed to both human and microbial activity. The latter is often overlooked because the media places heavy emphasis on human actions, such as burning fossil fuels, to be the drivers of global warming—some have gone so far as to label this epoch “The Anthropocene.” While humans do impact the environment, it is inappropriate to call it “The Anthropocene” because it undermines microbes’ relationship with the soil, and the centrality of their role in ecosystems. Therefore, the solutions I offer to mitigate climate change, and its consequences such as famine and spread of diseases, consider the interactions between the biotic and abiotic worlds. In this speech, I also discuss how my actions would attempt to alleviate climate change issues, and how the measures the UNFAO takes would increase everyday social responsibility. The UNFAO should 1. Promote no-till agriculture 2. Fund research to develop technology to improve power plants and 3. Subsidize public transport.
The Walrus has been a main source of food for thousands of Alaskans for generations, however, lately a serious problem has forced a drastic change in their diet. Warmer waters due to climate change have forced most all walruses out of the reach of the Alaskan hunters. This is only one of the many problems caused or that will be caused by climate change. Temperatures on earth have risen on average 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit over the course of the past century, this will continue and inevitably accelerate due to the increase in greenhouse gas emissions. Climate change is a serious problem and should be addressed by the United States.
One of the many advantages of limiting car use is it’s better for the environment. In Elisabeth Rosenthals “In German Suburbs, Life Goes On Without Cars” she says that cars are responsible for fifty percent of greenhouse gas emissions in the United States. In some places like Paris they have had to temporarily ban the use of cars on certain days to try and reduce the smog in the air because near record pollution caused by cars (Source 2) was becoming such a huge
Transportation is the number one thing we consumers do that harms the environment. Transportation causes the highest amount of environmental damage overall - nearly half of the toxic air pollution and more than a quarter of the greenhouse gases traceable to household consumption. Over time, however, sales of trucks, vans and SUV's went from 16% market share to over 50%. One big auto manufacturer even shelved their work of the last three years, spent updating their most popular selling economy car, so they could spend the money getting SUVs to market faster.
A. Attention Getter – The uninhabitable Earth, is what we`ll soon be called. Anticipating what the exact effects will be on mankind and other living organisms on planet Earth is tricky, however, a continuously growing amount of evidence suggest that it will be intense. In its Fifth Assessment Report, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a group of 1,300 independent scientific experts from countries all over the world under the auspices of the United Nations, concluded there's a more than 95 percent probability that human activities over the past 50 years have warmed our planet.
According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) reports, the earth’s temperature has increased by 0.8 degrees Celsius over the past century.
A) (Subpoint) Climate change is the change of climate in a locations usual weather during different seasons. Once all of these separate climates begin to change so does the Earth’s.
Global warming has been a controversial topic for years and some have even denied its existence; however, as more studies are being published every day in regards to our changing climate, it is hard to ignore this growing issue and how humans contribute to it. The term greenhouse gases refers to the group of gases that are primarily responsible for global warming and chief among these gases is carbon dioxide. Rising carbon dioxide levels can be attributed to a combination of burning fossil fuels such as coal, natural gas, and petroleum as well as deforestation in general ( Source A). To slow the effects of global warming, it is important for leaders in our society to consider their greenhouse gas emissions, especially carbon dioxide, and make
“we know that the costs of these events can be measured in lost lives and lost livelihoods, lost homes, lost businesses, hundreds of billions of dollars in emergency services and disaster relief. In fact, those who are already feeling the effects of climate change don’t have time to deny it -- they’re busy dealing with it.”(Barack Obama, ) To what extent should the U.S. government alleviate climate change in America .Climate change can affect our country through a number of factors cultural, social and natural. However what is being done to cut down pollution, global warming and any other factors of climate change that is hazardous to our country are all the perspectives that are into consideration when trying to find a solution to this worldly problem. How the alleviates climate change and do what needs to be done determines the sustainability of America for future generations.
Cars consist of being the number one way of travel throughout the United States. We rely on them to transport us to work, activities and necessary destinations. With this constant use of vehicles, it has had a negative impact on the environment. Although cars were invented almost a century ago to make life easier with getting around, car pollution has been our number one source of air pollution and has significantly impacted our environment due to how accessible they are. Arising problems such as air pollution, global warming, and health issues of americans, we have to come to the understanding that our environment is at risk if the amount of car pollution continues to increase.
Living in the U.K. or Europe can be a blessing at times but those dark winter months can be a bit foreboding. The constant rain can be quite oppressive, and then you have the frosts and the snow. How do you escape the cold and cheer yourself up a little. One thing I always miss about England is having an open fire place in the living room, nothing is more inviting. You can always add to it by having a roast for Sunday lunch, with a nice glass of wine. You could also drop down to your Local and have nice pint with maybe Duck in the Basket. Oh, how I wish I could see those things again.
I am here today to speak to you, the governing body of Ormiston Six Villages Academy, about an idea I have had to get the students in touch with the environment by joining a climate change campaign.
In order for us to help the wildlife during global warming we need to decrease the amount of pollution we put in the air. We can do this by reducing the amount of energy we use and how many times we use our vehicles in a day. We could also stop littering and start recycling. Land development is also a cause. All of these ways can lead to deterioration of certain species’ habitats. This is a serious problem and i want to persuade and and inform you what we can do to stop it and how it is affecting everyday life lives all the way to to the littlest things to the biggest thing. Global warming is growing at a faster and faster rate. Society thinks global warming is not a big deal and is okay with it. Nobody should be okay with this. Global warming is a horrible way of how we treat yourself, our planet, and the animals.
B) Also instead of turning up the heat when your cold, put on an extra layer of clothes. Again you'll be saving energy and money.
There are 1.2 billion cars in the world today with a majority being gas powered. All of these gas powered cars are releasing carbon dioxide into the environment which
