In a country named Syria there has been a war called The Syrian Civil War. The war has affected the syrians and causing them to flee the country. They have be going into a country called Turkey and some have been trying to come in the United States. But some people think that they shouldn’t be able to come in the United States because some people think they are terrorist. But some people think they should be able to came United States.
Some people have an opinion that the syrian refugees should not come into the United States because they are scared that they might be terrorists .But since 9/11, the U.S. has admitted 784,000 refugees into the country.According to the Migration Policy Institute, during that time, exactly three refugees were found to have links to terrorism so they should be able to come in to the United States, and also they are just helpless people stuck in a war. But If they stay in Syria they can help their country fight they that they are stuck in. But If they stay there any long they might die so they should com into United States. Most Syrian refugees remain in the Middle East, in Turkey so they don’t need to come into the united States. But we have more space in the United states And It is easier to find a job and get a house because the Syrian refugees that goes into turkey they are homeless and barely have food.

Refugees were allowed to com into the United States in 2011 but now they're not allowed to com into the United States. “When individuals say we should have religious tests, and only Christians, proven Christians, should be allowed, that’s offensive and contrary to American values”president Obama
Terrorist, sleeper cells and undeserving; these are all adjectives that Americans have used to describe Syrian refugees. This type of bigotry is an issue that must be addressed. In light of the recent attack on Paris, there has been a dramatic shift to block President Obama’s plan to bring 10,000 additional refugees into the United States. Imagine that, a nation of immigrants blocking other immigrants from entering. In order to gain this kind of overwhelming support for such a bill, propagandists have used countless personal attacks on an entire race and claim that it is in the name of national security. Rather than lock down the borders, the United States should take California’s model for vetting refugees and make it the federal
People all over the world have been asking themselves if it is right for their country to let in refugees from Syria. It is a question everybody fears from answering because of the consequences it may take. Several states in America have denied the entry because of security reasons and the over population. Even if there are several countries still refusing Syrians there are a few who are accepting them. Looking at some articles, I’ve seen differential opinions and one must read and understand why Syria refugees need a chance to be rescued from all the chaos and horror they’ve been through.
The issue of if Syrian refugees should come to America is a big debate today. Everyone has different opinions when it comes to politics. In this essay I will discuss both sides and give my opinion about this matter.
The debate about letting Syrian Refugees into America has been a heavily debated topic in the last year. One surprising fact is that, ‘The third largest city in the country of Jordan, Za’atari is just a refugee camp filled with Syrians escaping the Syrian Civil War and the population of Za’atari of 90,000.’ Syrians should be let into our county because: we have been letting Syrian Refugees into our country a very few have been of them have been radicalized and carried out terrorist attacks on our country, U.S. states cannot legally reject and deport Syrian Refugees coming here to seek refuge without the approval of the federal government, and not all the Syrian Refugees fit the supposedly true stereotypes
Walter Kirn, an American novelist and literary critic, stated that ‘‘Everyone loves a witch hunt as long as it’s someone else’s witch being hunted.’’ (Web. Walter Kirn Quote) Although the Salem Witch Trials took place over 300 years ago, in 1692, and we claim that we have come a long way since then, the truth is we have not. The hysteria that took place during the witch trials occurred because people refused to take responsibility for their actions. The same thing is happening in modern day America due to a 4 year long civil war, in Syria, and a mounting war on terrorism, in the United States. Syrians are fleeing their country because of the impending civil war, of 4 years, between those loyal to President Bashar al-Assad and those who oppose him, the rebels. Accepting refugees from war torn countries has always been something the United States has done, even if it caused some controversy. However, there has never been more controversy on whether or not to accept refugees from Syria. This is because of the terrorist groups in Syria who have continued to execute fatal attacks on Westernized countries, specifically the United States. A number of U.S. citizens do not want to accept Syrian refugees for fear that some refugees could pose potential threats or have relations with the terrorist group, ISIS.
Imagine being a parent at an airport waiting to go see your kids but then all of the sudden you can't pass through the gates, why? Well, because the current president Donald Trump banned 7 nations from entering the United States. What do you do now? That's how frustrated and disappointed people were at the airports when the ban took action on Friday, January 27th. It was unaccounted so people were not aware of it although, it was expected to occur anytime soon. He believes the United States would be a better place without those nations so, therefore, he felt the need to ban refugees from entering the United States. It all might sound scary but as he was running for candidacy many people were aware of how everything could be changed
“I pray for the day when the children of Syria wake up to the sounds of birds not bombs” (Syrian quotes pintrest.org). Syrian refugees are escaping from the destroyed countries. In addition, Syrian refugees are leaving there homes that were torn down by war. However, other countries don’t agree with the idea that people want refugees to enter America. Refugees have to be always accepted because of the many hardships they are facing and it has been the American tradition for
The issue of whether or not allowing the Syrian refugees continue to enter the United States have became a popular issue after the terrorist attack in Paris on November 13th. In my opinion, I think U.S should still remain allowing the Syrian refugees to start a new life in America. Following two reasons can best explain my point of view.
Currently in Syria there is a civil war going on that has led thousands of refugees to flee to other countries. Many people in these countries are debating on whether or not these refugees should be allowed within their borders. Leaving these debates and questions of moral standing out of it I believe in my own opinion that it would be best not to allow them into the United States. Allowing them to enter our borders could have drastic consequences that could leave a huge burden on our country, and the society that dwells within it.
The first reason the United States should accept refugees is because the Syrian Refugee Crisis
Immigration laws have resulted in a situation where many illegal immigrants live and work in the United States. Yet, it is an important issue that has been blown out of proportion by the media and politicians. Here in the United States, Syrian refugees have enriched our cultural growth into a more diverse and positive outcome and have enhanced our influence in the World. However, Americans have responded to their arrival with violence and hate towards them.
According to Fox news,Obama administration officials plan to bring in about 10,000 refugees over the next year. This will give them a safe place to stay, a chance to get back on their feet, a chance to get a job, will allow them to get healthcare, an education, and any other other commodities the refugees could possibly need. But, every person has another side. In France, in November of 2015, the ISIS bombers were identified as refugees that had fled to escape the war. As they had started to live in France, they joined ISIS, and were undercover. Letting people into your country without thinking about it gives them a chance to be a threat. Some countries are letting refugees’ records slide so they can start a now life. CNN news says that 31 U.S. governors are not accepting Syrian refugees.Overall, it is the wrong choice to let refugees into your
While many terrorists are homegrown, and refugees contribute little to terrorism as of now, it is important to keep national security in mind. As mentioned earlier on, a large amount of Americans support the ban on refugees, but this is not direct discrimination on refugees as the executive order by the president states, “In order to protect Americans, the United States must ensure that those admitted to this country do not bear hostile attitudes toward it and its founding principles”(Executive Order: Protecting The Nation...). This quote shows that the United States has made the decision to ban refugees from some countries because of an extensive terror list associating those countries with high amounts of terrorism. It has been made to protect people from what they fear, and in addition to this, add time to sort through previous refugee entries into the United States. The order is not to be confused with the common misconception that refugees were banned because of muslim faith, as the countries with the highest muslim faith in the world were not even banned. Although many people have complained, Trump’s executive order is still being advised as a way forward (Prepositional). This expresses the fact that Americans believe that protecting home soil is the best way to feel
In conclusion these are the reasons why I believe refugees should be allowed into the United States. Just because they are resettling from another country where terrorist organizations are located doesn't mean they are also a terrorist they could have been just like you in a home and a family but they lost it to the war and need your help that’s why refugees should be allowed to enter the
Terrorists Terrorism/Crime are a big reason that refugees should not be let into the united states. One of the big reasons is that there are a lot of people trying to either get a visa or sneak into our country. “There have been over 400 cases of people sneaking across the border from Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Pakistan, and Syria”. Associated Press 2015)This shows that people who shouldn't be crossing the border are sneaking in with the refugees to cause terrorism to our country. There are very few reasons that people from those countries should ever be entering our country, and them trying to sneak in and illegally come into our country tells us they are probably planning
