I have taken the 16 Personalities test about five or six times. Usually, I get a different personalities type every time. I’ve gotten ESTJ, ENTP, ESTP, ISTP and INTP. Whenever I take this test, I hope for some clarity about myself. Since I get a different personality every time, I just become more confused every time I take it. I have come to the conclusion that I am either schizophrenic and have five different personalities, or I am too unconventional to be assessed by this test. I am pretty confident that I am not schizophrenic, so I guess that I am just too weird to be understood through some test. When I read the profiles of each of the personalities, I see pieces of myself in each one. The ESTJ personality type fits pretty well because
The need for another personality test seems small. Personality tests have been in use in American since 1943 when the Meyers Briggs was first published (OPP, 2015). The field is now very diverse. With the Meyers Briggs and Smalley’s Animal Types on one end to What Star Wars Character Are You? On the other, these tests run the gambit from serious to funny, and then on down to time wasters. To really prove your usefulness, a new test must fill a niche in the market. Something only your test can provide. However the 34 vaguely worded themes give no great bit of detail to really
PLEASE REMEMBER – when taking personality tests, or any psychological tests, you typically need to respond based on your PREFERRED way of being, not necessarily how situations in the past have required / compelled you to be.
Gittany, 2014). When he was administered a personality test, his results demonstrated traits such as “schizoid,” “depressive,” and “dependent” (R v. Gittany, 2014). Robilliard further clarified that schizoid personality traits generally portray a socially detached individual with “lack of self awareness and insight into the implications of interpersonal behaviour” (R v. Gittany, 2014).
During the power point on the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, as the instructor went through the different types of personalities, I was able to recognize which subcategories I fall into almost instantly. When my computer personality test results were returned, I was correct. As I read the type descriptions of Extroversion, Intuition, Feeling, and Judging- ENFJ- I quickly recognized myself within the descriptive words.
I was very happy to have been given the opportunity to take these self-assessment tests. I always had an idea as far as what my personality is defined as, but it’s interesting to see where my strengths and weaknesses are. With the Jungian Typology test I scored 59% Introvert, 34% Sensing, 19% Thinking, and 31% Judging. After receiving this score and reading how each is defined, none of this surprised me. Sharing the results with my mother, her response was, “No surprise there!” I have always tried having some understanding of my personality in hopes of finding the right career path for me. I must admit that this has opened my eyes to how detail oriented and focused I can be, especially if it’s something I care about. This can be both good
Based on the personality type exam, it reported me as an ESTJ, meaning I am 53% extroverted, 87% sensor, 67% thinker, and 87% judger. It is said that ESTJ are representatives of tradition and order, and often take the rolls of leadership. The ESTJ personality is often associated with strengths of dedication, strong will, honesty, loyalty, patience, reliable, organized. However, ESTJ also have weaknesses such as, stubbornness, judgmental, difficulty relaxing, and difficulty in expressing emotion.
ISTP was my personality type. As an ISTP, I am not fiercely independent. I do a lot of things by myself, but when it comes to finical needs and support. I depend on my parents to help me get through the difficulty. ISTPs tend to be quiet and reserved. I am a quiet person with few words. I am also reserved since I am afraid to show my true self, and I do not like attracting too much attention towards me. I believe that I work hard but at times it becomes a struggle when balancing my work. My emotion have a mind of their own, coming and going as they please. I believe that the result somewhat fits about being who I am. There were slightly some that didn’t seem to describe me, but overall my personality do fit in as an ISTP.
Recently, I have taken the Jung typology personality test. It showed that I was ISTJ. This acronym stands for introvert, sensing, thinking, and judging. I feel as though the results were thoroughly correct. Introvert perfectly explains the type of person I have been throughout my life. I have always liked working by myself instead of in groups and I have very few close relationships with people. The sensing category was also true of my character because i tend to notice small details and I am a very practical, realistic type of person. As far as the thinking category, I always judge things rationally and
I was able to come to this conclusion by taking an objective look at my life and how well it fits into this personality type. However, I do not hold much stock in personality tests. After taking the test in class, I took it again (twice) online and got INFJ or the Protector. I found myself agreeing with pretty much everything the results said about me, as I did with this one. It seems the traits identified in each personality type could be applied to everyone, ensuring that whatever the result, the person will agree. That is not to say I do not enjoy learning more about my assigned
Population growth simply means an increase in the number of people that inhabit a county or a city. The current human population growth is something extraordinary in the world’s history. Personality is a complex combination of factors that has been developed over a person’s entire childhood and young adulthood. There are genetic, environmental and social components to personality. A person’s personalities are not shaped by a single influence. Therefore tests that measure personality take into account this complexity and rich texture. The two primary types of personality tests are objective and projective. Objective tests include the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI-2), the 16PF, and the Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory-III (MCMI-III). Projective tests include the Rorschach Inkblot Test, the Thematic Apperception Test (TAT), and the Draw-a-Person test (Framingharm,
My personality preferences are influenced by my spiritual, emotional, and physical needs. I came to the conclusion the different Jungian Personality results were due to my emotional mode and physical condition. The most recent time I took the personality test, I was well rested and in good health. The initial personality test, I was sick with a cold and had driven three hundred miles earlier in the day. A combination of the long road trip and suffering with the cold symptoms resulted in varying test results. Physical fitness levels and physical stamina affect emotions and affected my personality type results.
What are you grateful for? What matters most for you? Is it money, is it family? Have you thought about education and its big role it plays to get you to a future you want and will like? In this well-written documentary directed by Davis Guggenheim, the question of the matter is the American education system, and its backlash on poverty and areas of need. He follows a couple unlikely kids and their struggle to get into a average school and how failure to just get into a school like this is the downfall of someone’s future career. This documentary relates so well to previous reads and watches about the American education system. Involving speeches like Sir Ken Robinson and the book “Re-reading America,” in correlation with Guggenheim’s piece of work. This portrayal of education depicts harrowing stories of how some kids growing up in places where education is non-existent and failure is common. He uses an array of techniques to capture to attention of the audience and change their perception of opinions. And he does this through the use of pathos, but in the work of that pathos he builds it with the help of music and tone. These emotions certainly grab the audience's attention and beliefs, and uses it to express the opinion and characteristic of the topic argument. Within Guggenheim’s excellent piece of work there are key components that give his artwork a more visual and thorough meaning along with the story.

Everyone has a different personality that determines their patterns of behavior, thoughts, and feelings. Myers Briggs have determined that there are sixteen different personalities among people. Upon completing the short questionnaire, I have been assigned the logistician, or ISTJ, personality type. In the past, I have completed other personality tests when I was trying to decide on a major that most fit me. These other quizzes also resulted in this personality classification.
