To whom that it may concern,
I have known Natalie Schieuer for almost half a year now, and in that time I have been incredibly pleased to meet such an amazing, talented, and brilliant young lady. I was Natalie’s counselor this summer at Nebraska Girls State. Girls State is a week-long camp, aimed towards education of state and local government. 400 of Nebraska’s top emerging high school juniors are chosen to attend this program, and within these numbers, Natalie still managed to shine through with her accomplishments and wit.
Girls State is extremely competitive, but Natalie was able to come out on top in all different forms that week. Out of all of the girls, she was the highest scorer on the government exam, ran a very intense campaign for her office, and was selected as alternate for Girls Nation, one of the most prestigious civics programs in the country. Being narrowed

This test is one of the most rigorous exams that a high schooler can take, but with the reward of a free trip to Washington D.C. to meet the president. While the results will be out in December, so at this time I do not know whether or not Natalie will be one of the two Nebraskans accepted into this program, I truly believe that she is one of the most brilliant and qualified people for it, and her ability to learn was further shown to me during this period.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time working with Natalie. She is honest, dependable, and incredibly hard-working. Beyond that, Natalie is an intellectually impressive and ambitious student who is always ready to further herself in any program. Along with her undeniable talent, Natalie has always been an absolute joy to work with.
Without a doubt, I confidently and highly recommend Natalie to receive this scholarship. As a dedicated and knowledgeable and an all-around great person, I know that she will be a beneficial addition to your
only make my mother proud, but I also want to make myself proud because I know that I can guarantee myself a stable life setting when I graduate from a university. My sole purpose of attending college is to ensure that I can survive in the real world as a working class member, and know that I can achieve.
I am currently a year 11 students at Beauchamp College. I believe myself to be a dedicated, self-motivated as well as a confident person. I can complete tasks on my own but I can also work well as part of a team. More over I cope extremely well under pressure and always aspire to do everything to the best of my ability. Whilst I have clear objectives, I also take in advice and use it to better my self as a person.
As a student affairs practitioner I believe I am a cornerstone of the higher education experience. I have made it my mission to help students be the best version of themselves for the benefit of not only them, but of society at large. I work to help create not only educated students, but also engaged members of a global society.
Before I answer the questions posed, I believe an explanation is owed regarding this request for admission into Saybrook. I originally applied to The Chicago School of Professional Psychology seeking a degree in business psychology. Since the program was not ready to start for another year, it was suggested that I take courses in the international psychology program. I thoroughly enjoyed this new experience with an opportunity to “think global”. I optioned to remain in this program with a concentration in organizations and systems. As I sojourned through, I was always aware that there was still something missing. Although I loved being part of the IP program, my roots are deeply entrenched in the world of organizational development (OD).
Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) offers a lot for us, students, in the Residence Halls. Comfortable lounges for us to study and hang out with our friends, free cable, accessible water fountains, and microwaves and mini-fridges are already provided for us. However, something valuable is missing from our Residence Halls that would have been a huge plus to living on campus. Where are our kitchens? The meal options at OLLU are great, but the food at the Cyber Café tends to get boring and bland, and the Sister Annie B's Cafeteria can get crowded with long lines to get food. Cooking is what makes food exciting and more gratifying, but without a kitchen, how will we ever learn to cook for ourselves and enjoy food? The new
I, Deborah Destahun, believe I would be a good fit in National Honor Society because I already uphold to NHS standards; I am: a leader, a volunteer and a dedicated person. I am committed and will show up on time in an orderly manner.

When I was nine I told my mother I was going to be the first female Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court, and since then my passion for law and politics has only grown. I enjoy being in thick of things and using my energy to move ideas forward. I love persuading others on topics that I see will make our community better for all of us. Participating in activities and events such as Buckeye Girls State, and the National Speech and Debate tournament have broaden my horizons immensely. However, something not listed on the resume is the conversations that happen outside of the rounds, where people come together to discuss different issues because it excites them. I love the political process, it drives the activities I do, the classes
Graduating high school was an exciting time, but I felt lost. I wasn't sure of my career goals or what I wanted to accomplish at University. When I first decided to attend community college, I felt hesitant because I did not take the traditional route like my other classmates. However, community college was cheaper and would give me time to figure out the career path I wanted to take.
Although my rejection to Morehead State University was no surprise, due to my previous college standings, I was highly disappointed. In hopes of a better outcome after sending my final transcripts for the spring term of 2017, I shortly received my news of rejection.
Taylor Nuehring is a recent graduate from the class of 2016 at West Fork High School. She has participated in cross country for four years, basketball for one year, track for one year, softball for three years, and National Honor Society for two years. Her future plans are to attend the University of Iowa for a bachelor’s degree in human physiology with a pre-dentistry
The Booster Redux, Pittsburg High School’s newspaper, staff interviewed Robertson for their story. Within this interview, the students noticed something odd— facts weren’t adding up. These deviations in what Robertson said, and information already obtained, raised speculation in her credentials. The staff of the Booster Redux preceded to publish an article detailing their unsettling discoveries.
It wasn’t long into the school year when my third grade teacher realized that I hardly knew how to read. She would watch as I flipped through the pages of a book, imitating the act of reading. I had adapted my behavior to make it through class without notice, but had not yet figured out how to pass her reading comprehension quizzes. After gently questioning me about it, she sent me to the school counselors to get tested for learning disabilities. As she suspected, the tests came back with multiple diagnoses: dyslexia, auditory processing disorder, and a lack of short-term memory. Being a third grader, those words had no meaning to me, but little did I know how they would force me to create adaptations that prepared me for Washington University Law School.
I can say with great certainty that I am an excellent candidate for this scholarship. I do not only have a superior academic acumen and intellectual abilities, but I am a model citizen who has dedicated my life to helping others.
Natalie was invited to speak at Harvard for Annual Class Day Celebration. When counseling the graduating class, she urged them to find their internal motivation and to be satisfied with the choices they make, not to allow opinions or expectations of others to take presidence(Pazzanese, 2015). Portman also offered this as advice, " Accept your lack of knowledge, and use it as your asset." In a Rolling Stones interview, she admits she is used to getting A's, but she says, "I think the really smart people dont get A's. They realize it doesnt matter whether they hand in their paper on time, whereas all my papers are on time. I dont challenge the guidlines much."(Heath,2011) Portman has stated that her strong work ethic and love for learning is
