First of all I am extremely happy and excited about the programs and tutorials that University of Phoenix provides students to help them obtain excellence in class. The workshops available assist students who have been out of school for several years remember the basics of each subject. It keeps me motivated during the classes and definitely makes learning easy. Make sure you set your expectations and be clear on what it is you want to obtain. It is not easy staying on track because everyday life events get in the way and that can sway your decision to do the right thing, but do not let that discourage you, an education is a great benefit and will open up all forms of opportunities in your future. Personal responsibility normally refers to accepting responsibility for your own actions (Lazare, 2005) even thought pointing the finger at someone else it an easy way out, (for example, an alcoholic will blame the company they keep for influencing them to drink) we do have a responsibility to take care of ourselves and our children. Experiencing parenthood is not an easy task, especially if you are a single parent. Regardless of shortcomings every parent has a moral obligations to feed, bathe, clothe, and provide a roof over our children’s head. The most important of these is love and listen to our children. Teaching our children to become responsible in their actions, intentions and ways of thinking toward other people
