My optimistic assumption is you had a deep unbroken sleep which upon waking up afforded you a reinvigoration of body, mind, and spirit. With the onset of Flu season possibly the opportunity for vaccination has not availed itself to you, I hope the you woke up feeling brisk without stiffnesses or aches. Today is my scheduled physical therapy, and I hope my leg continues to show signs of improvement providing me with a psychological boost. The weather forecast in and around the Alexandria, Va. calls for a high temperature of 74 degrees a current temperature of 64 degrees humidity to range from 86% to 54% at two (2:00) o'clock no precipitation i.e. Rain. (smile) Have an effervescently prosperous day!
After several weeks of 100 degree weather, the forecast is for temperatures in the low 90’s. The weather forecaster says, “We’re expecting temperatures in the low 90s. I might have to wear my coat tomorrow!”
Today is really cooler here, the temperature only reached 18ºC and has been cloudy all day, but hasn't rained. Yesterday reached around 21ºC and was a sunny day, so these days were quite nice. Two nights ago there was a heavy thunderstorm, and strong wind too, for most of the night. In these last months, strong winds have become stronger and frequent here, which is pretty worrying. Hope the weather is mild over there.
Tuesday’s raucous rain is expected to continue for another 24 hours or so. Highs may break 60 degrees, but expect ample showers (and a possible thunderstorm) to make you want to cocoon in your blanket and play hooky.
The morning air in Virginia is like the Mississippi air; when one moves it feels more like swimming than walking. The humid air weighs one down and makes even the simplest movement feel like a monumental challenge. Unfortunately
Now, onto the weather, today we have a temperature of 78 degrees with a high of 93 and a low of 62 degrees. Wind speeds of 2 miles per hour blowing in from the SE which should rise to 9 miles per hour around 6pm. With a 0% of precipitation which
A cold day across the region with high temperatures only in the upper single digits/low teen. Wind chill values will improve this afternoon into the single digits above zero. A fast moving clipper system tracks into the area tonight. This will do two things. #1. Temps warming after midnight. #2. Tr-1" of snow along the Wi/Michigan state line. Another weak disturbance will bring a chance of light snow late Saturday into Sunday.
Brrrrr. Wind chill values close to -15 this morning. The next few days will feel more like mid February rather than almost mid March. A northwest flow the next few days is the reason why temps will remain cold. Below zero readings will be possible north of Hwy 29 on Saturday morning. A fast moving clipper system will track into the area late Sunday/early Monday. Clipper systems typically bring light snow, and help reinforce the cold air. Slow warming trends starts on Wednesday.
4:30 am waking up and still delusional not quiet believing that it’s finally here. Saturday is beginning of the hunting season and the opener, nothing is better than sitting all day in 20 degree Fahrenheit snowy
What a difference in the last 24 hours?!? Early Monday morning strong to severe storms, and Tuesday morning 5-7" snow north of Hwy 64. Today will be cloudy and cool. Temps only in the low to mid 40s. Snow will slowly melt today. Partly cloudy skies tonight and temps will drop a few degrees below freezing. Sunshine returns tomorrow and temps will be in the low 50s, which is average for this time of year. Rain showers are likely late Wednesday into Thursday. River and streams will continue to rise the next few days. Easter weekend will bring an additional chance of showers and storms on Saturday.
KTTC’s weather watcher shines bright red above Minneapolis/ Saint Paul’s skyline. Warmer weather is on its way. The mid-afternoon news report confirms it. It is hot. Scorching hot. Temperatures were already in the 90s and expected to climb. Tonight those lucky enough to afford air-conditioning will ramp it up and seek peace in cooler conditions.
“Tonight will be a clear sky cooling down into the mid-sixties, tomorrow will warm up and 10mile an hour winds, paired with partially cloudy skies will bring temperatures up to a high of—a high of— forty-five.”
The weather here is gorgeous. It already can reach up to 80°. I don't know how I’ll be in the summer if it’s over 100°. There have already been a few times when we’ve had the tornado sirens go off. It’s very different when the sky is orange with hail pounding
So I began to look up the long-term average of weather conditions for each day in order to predict the weather for the given day. Most of the time it was pretty precise but it could have been better.
I remember it was 8 pm and I was sitting in the kitchen scrolling down weather.com. Quickly some red and orange spots on a map caught my eye. I looked at the headline below and it said Heavy Thunderstorms and High Winds heading to the Midwest region. What it did not say was the time this was all going to happen at. Thus I assumed that tomorrow was going to be yet another rainy and stormy day. But I was all wrong…
It was early September when my friend Sophia drove me to the airport with the AC turned up. The temperature gauge on the dash read eighty-one degrees but with the humidity it felt more like a hundred and ten. The North Carolina sky was bright blue though and the smoky mountains green and hazy.
