Personal Narrative: The Maze

When we got to Chicago we got a hotel and stayed there for the night then we got up at 4 in the morning so we could get around and go get checked in for our flight. When we got on the shuttle to go to the airport it was a bumpy ride.

It was the day after my sister's Quinceanera, and all my family was here. They were leaving back to their homes Monday morning, so keep in mind it is Sunday. All of our parents were talking outside and saw that us kids didn’t really have anything to do, so they decide to take us to a river that was 5 minutes away from my aunt's ranch. We packed up all our food and stuff and went right away.

one day we were going to this place called six flags. It was a sunny day that day we left from our house about 5:00 that morning but we were staying there for the weekend at my friends grandparents house in Atlanta. My mom and my two brothers were with us driving and my friend his hole family was following us when we went down their. And we all couldn't wait to get down their but i’m sometimes nervous to go down big rollercoasters but I didn't know that they were going to be that big.

A vacation that i took with my family and friends. We took a vacation to Panama City Beach, FL and that was my first time going to a beach swimming in the ocean but when got there and we ate and cross the road and there was a big pizza delivery truck. We when into the hotel and unload everything we had and we was staying on floor 18 so i was kinda scared of heights. The view from the 18 floor was amazing and the water and i seen some stingrays along the sandy beach and i was scared to swim in the ocean now but i did. When all of us ate lunch i went to the first floor and out the back door and straight into the sand but it was hot so i ran into the cool cold sea water. My cousin and me, we tried swim pretty far out but we was getting so tired of the waves pussing us back and back so we let the water take us back to shore and while we going back i stuck my head under water and i seen a little fish and i tried to grab it but the water was pushing me.

I didn’t learn how to read until 2ed grade.Beacuse parents divorced my dad would take me to school some days and my mom would take me others. Little did I know my mom would drink and get high after I went to bed at night. In the morning she would sleep in with a hangover so I got dressed and ready on my own. She would not wake till 11:00 so I would play dolls and watch cartoons all morning. Because of this, I missed about 30% of grades K-3. In 3ed grade me and my dad and stepmom learned of my moms addiction. I stopped seeing my mom for a long time. During that time I discovered the joy of reading. I started later than the others so I ended up at a low reading level but once I learned to read, well, I never stopped.Stories are

Take a deep breath, I told myself looking in the visor mirror, just breathe. I looked to my right and droplets of water covered the passenger side window of my fathers Jeep. Two of the droplets had streamed down the window and I admired the beauty of their disarrayed paths. I compared the droplets to the bittersweet chaos that has consumed my life. Their paths had no direct course and jerked left to right slowly and then in a rush as if there were a magnet below them.

We told Riley’s dad to go hard on us, so he did. He went in huge circles and hit his own wake. The first time we were fine, but the second time not so fine. He went in a circle the turned the other way and jerked us outside of the wake. Of course we were outside of the wake on the side I was on. Then these colossal wakes came in from a tiny speed boat that had passed a few seconds ago. We went flying. We were a good 4-5 feet in the air. We landed really hard and went right back up again. This time the tube flipped and we both fell off into the warm water. We had the taste of fishy water in our mouths. At the time it wasn’t so funny but looking back on it I think it was hilarious. It was rough but we asked for it! When I told my parents this they thought it was really funny, but they also wanted to make sure I was

After about ten minutes of looking, we finally found them and were headed to our hotel. Pulling up to our hotel, my jaw dropped in awe. It was huge! There were swimming pools, buffets, and people everywhere. The main desk said that for an extra $100, we could upgrade to a presidential suite which was beachside. Of course we said yes, then the bell hop showed us to our room. I was speechless! The room was about the size of my house! Two king sized beds, marble floors, walk in closets, flat screen TVs, and it was right by the beach. It truly was a sight to

I unzipped my coat as I stepped into the warm basement. I crinkle my nose as the bitter smell of alcohol hits it. I feel like I should be used to it by now, I go to concerts at least once a month. We walk over to the small table overflowing with merchandise. It’s a tradition to by the opening bands CD.

On the third day, we got up and went and ate breakfast a small cafe after that we left and made our way to an adventure land. As soon as we got there it was packed full of people. My parents paid for our tickets and My brother and me went to the amusement park side first the first thing we went on was the go-cart track.

Walking on the hot sand and spending time by the water with family and friends. The first time i went to the beach was one to remember.I went with my mom, my dad,my brother Preston, and Kiki my cousin.

Since it was 6 of us, we had to rent a house instead of a hotel. The house was located in Davenport, 30 minutes away from Orlando. Overall, it was the perfect vacation home; it basically had everything

One hot sunny day, I was playing with my Rubix cube with my friends. I was glad that I came with my friends and with the Boys and Girls club to Kaimana beach park. The purpose why I came to was super excited because it was my first time seeing an eel! We also talked about going to the reef with just my friends. I saw videos and books that they were really slimy creatures in the water and can paralyze us. After about 30 minutes we arrived at the beach.

One morning my dad and I woke up in our hotel room watching the glorious sunrise and were quietly walking down the hallway of the hotel to go to the lobby. In the lobby, there were these huge advertisement banners hanging up that said, "Take a roll through the desert." There were pictures of people riding ATV's in the desert so we decided to go on an adventure.

On the next day, we woke up kind of late since we had that long drive the other day before started to get ready. We ate for free at the hotel since they had had free breakfast and my brothers also woke up as well, to the surprise of my mother and me. Also, we had decided that we would go to the aquarium first before anything else (after eating breakfast of course). After the aquarium, we would go to the beach and after that go back to the hotel and to relax there.
