The first day of school in 2020. It was a normal first day of school at Fairgrounds Elementary school in Nashua ,NH. The day was a cool August morning, Brian and Daniel met in the cafeteria during breakfast. They immediately became best friends. They had a normal day at school, but little did they know their night would not be so normal. At the end of the day Brian asked Daniel to sleepover his house. “Sure” ,said Daniel.
At Brian's house the boys played a video game called, Hitman. During the ten hour game in Brian's living room they had to stop suddenly because they heard a noise coming from Brian's backyard. Brian thought about waking up his mom, but then thought, oh no, she’ll be mad. As he was thinking about what to do the noise went off again. It was a loud knocking noise. Brian grabbed a flashlight.
Daniel said,”are you really doing this?”
Not talking, Brian took his flashlight and moved through the kitchen to the back door. Daniel followed Brian to the kitchen. There was no one at the back door, so they rushed to the front door. No one there either, but the door was open and it was after midnight.
“Are you trying to scare me?, Brian said shaking.
Daniel admitted he had opened the front door, but he wasn't trying to scare him.
“Who was at the back door?” screamed Brian.
“I don't know, I was right beside you!” responded Daniel.
Next the front door bell chimed, DING -DONG. Daniel rushed to the door, slammed it shut and locked it.
Brian said,” oh it's
“Ok. Just let me know if you need anything.” His mom said in a cheerful voice. Right after she said this a humongous, gruesome, creature with a hockey mask and a long machete busted down the door and stormed in.
I said “finally were Home.” Then we brought him inside the house. The reason he came inside was because he was
Barry couldn't believe that it was morning already, he went to sleep at 1 a.m because he stayed up binge watching his favorite show.“Barry wake up, it's 7:30!” Diana yelled as she rushed into her son's room. “Mom! Why didn't you wake me up earlier?, it's the first day of school!” was what came out Barry’s mouth although he knew that it was his fault like always. Barry stared at his alarm clock, which was completely silent, no noise or numbers reflecting off the screen to let Barry know that it was time to get ready for his first day of middle school. The day brightened considerably, the shadows were stretching in the opposite direction from what Barry had seen yesterday in his first day in New York. His father, Daniel, and Diana rush into the car since it was Daniel’s first day as well, at his new job in the famous World Trade Center. "Ready for your big day today champ?”, Barry didn't answer because of the memories that rushed through his brain of all his friends, teachers, and his grandpa.
He made himself braver and stopped putting off going to answer the door. When he went he was apologizing to the man or woman trying to get in. telling them how he was napping, and how he barely heard them. Then he opened the door.
He heard Sterling slam the door to the room and begin to talk to someone outside. After a moment of so the door opened again. There was a brief pause before the door slammed shut again and footsteps began to approach.
Taking a chance he opens the door, peaking out to plan the quickest route to the door. There’s no one about, meaning his mother had hopefully fled the scene. Quickly he does the same, slipping through the small gap he’s created and rushing across the small flat towards the door, opening it and closing it quietly behind him.
At Quickstart before freshman year I had a panic attack before I even entered the building. I saw how big the school was and I became extremely nervous about starting school. There was so much pressure to make the next four years, the best four years. Also, none of my friends were attending Lane with me and I did not know how to make new friends. Upon entering the building on the first day I got lost a couple of times but I made a couple of friends and lasting impression on my teachers.
Danny looked to the door and lazily got up, straightened up his clothing opening the door.
Bill kept kicking and screaming in hope that someone would find him.All of a sudden, the door creaked
Remembering the first day I attended school in America, it was nothing more than dreadful, miserable and terrifying. On one side, I remember been called an Indian maggot, on the other side, an African foreigner, and finally the dead walker. With the addition of getting accustomed to the language, culture and the people, I felt this was one of the most hardest obstacles I had ever experienced. Before the age of 14, I arose every morning to the comfort and pleasure of my parents. When regional holidays came about, men and women packed their children's clothes and headed off to to relatives houses, when Christmas came around, men and women flooded the streets in their traditional Eritrean white cotton garments, with woven colors of red, green and blue symbolizing Eritrean flag. At every street corner, smartly dressed men and women
My life flipped for the better once I left the 8th grade, it was finally summer time and I was ready for it. But deep down I knew once summer was over high school here I come. I won't even lie, I was terrified to start as a freshman in high school. All of the rumors that I heard with baby freshman day, and all the stuff they do to freshmens on the first day of school. To be honest I was really nervous, instead of a couple butterflies in my stomach I had the whole family flying around. But once the first day of high school came up all those rumors that everyone was telling me was actually a lie. High school wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. As my freshman year went on a lot of doors opened up for me, there were sports, clubs, new people to me, everything you could possible think of. I didn't really get into sports as much as all of my friends, I was more into video games and playing outside in the woods just adventuring finding old vintage things and old buildings and all of the beautiful views. My freshman year wasn't really too special, I was too busy figuring out what everything was and where everything was located at. Then my sophomore year came along this is where I started to get the foundation of high school and blend in. everything kinda went downhill I made good grades don't get wrong, it's just I never showed up which I regret miserably. Once I got to my junior year everything is still constantly changing, a lot more people know of me. I was never
We all have different kinds of the first day of school experiences, but for every student, I feel that stepping into the first day of school as a freshman would mark as the most memorable day in all high school years. Before the first day of school, I quickly thought that my freshman year would turn into the toughest and saddest year in my experience. My best friend would not attend the same high school with me, which already gives me many conclusions of how sad and hard of a school year it would result. However, maybe things will turn out differently than we think if we just change something about our way of living it.
Roger turned onto his street and walked into his house expecting to get yelled at again for getting home too late but, instead his house was completely silent so, he went to see if his parents were in their room. He turned down the
I have lost many people in my life, family and friends. I feel like people have just vanished. I haven’t really given it much thought until lately, I look back in the past and realize that a lot of things have changed, slowly people have left, just like that. People always leave.
Everywhere I go it seemed to be flashing lights and screaming teenage girls hollering my name from the top of their lungs. I always dreamt of this moment but now that I have it, I don’t think this is the life I want to live. Without my father here to back me up through these treacherous time, I was at a lack of guidance which enraged me to feel the hatred towards him all yet again. Ever since he left for an extended vacation at the correctional facility, our relationship began to strain as years went by.
