My biggest takeaway about him was that he was the Chief Prosecutor for a case called "The Einsatzgruppen Case, which is known as the most "biggest murder trial in history". Where he got twenty-two members of the Nazis Party charged with murdering a million innocent people. However, what makes this even more interesting was that this was his first case as a Chief Prosecutor and he was only twenty-seven years old.
I rush into my home and run up the stairs to my room. I jump on my bed and roll over to my laptop and open it quickly. I log onto the One Direction site and see that I made it in time to see the bid. I scroll and try and find my name and I see I'm in third place for the tickets and the time is running out. I've already bid $7000 for three tickets and backstage passes. The reason it's so expensive is because these passes are the last set of passes for their concert. 5sos is also playing so we would be meeting two bands and hearing both of them play.
Medieval secular and papal rulers often crossed paths. Through the many clashes between monarch and papal authority, an overreaching struggle between ecclesiastical and secular powers is present. In fact, not since the earliest days of Christianity had the pope been a mere religious ruler. Some historians, such as Klaus Schatz and Brian Tierney, argue that the primacy of papal authority, when the papacy actively began extending its influence, is relegated to a specific era from 1050 to 1300. Gregory VII, Innocent III, Innocent IV, and Boniface VIII played important roles in promulgating the power of the papacy in many ways as well as the so-called lesser churches of Rome. Gregory VII created the active basis of this movement and subsequent
In 2025, I will be twenty-nine years old and hopefully married. I will be married to my significant other of ten years Earnest Palmer III, who is a dentist. I would have been recently graduating with a bachelor’s in Culinary Arts and trying to plan to open my own restaurant, BubbaD’s Eateries. Knowing my big headed husband of mine, I probably had a baby then and trying to have another baby. Hopefully, by then Earnest will get rid of the idea naming our son, King. We will be living in the suburbs near New York City but working in the city. Being a woman with great memory, I probably wrote a memoir about my crazy life and trying to sell it to a publisher. If none of the publishers wants to publish my memoir, I will probably sell it the Lifetime
In the fall of 2015 I was given orders to report to Baumholder, Germany. I had anticipated my first assignment eagerly ever since I signed up for the Army in March of that same year. Without any idea what to expect, I dove in blind. The early days of my assignment in Germany were lonely, confusing, and misguided. I know that I was extremely anxious to impress my peers and supervisors. I knew that if I showed I was the best, I would not have to worry about being seen as the child I was used to being seen as. All of the pressure from coming to a new unit had me on edge. I met Sergeant Phillips shortly after my arrival to Germany, and needless to say we did not ‘hit it off’. We had troubles in the beginning but I would not have integrated into this Army so well if it weren’t for the guidance and example of Sergeant Adam Phillips. Sergeant Phillips made a lasting impression on my life professionally and personally.
When I walked into the store, I was greeted by the sales associate, Cathy. She came over and asked me how she can help me today. I replied that I was looking for a new mattress and was told by a co-worker that they had a new Sleep Number bed and I was interested in finding out about them. The associate asked me about my current mattress and what I was looking for in a new mattress. After I answered her questions, she led me over to the demonstration mattress and asked me to lie down. She gave me the demonstration and then asked me to come over to the m7 mattress and lie down on that mattress. The associate then demonstrated the adjustable frame of the m7. She then gave me the laminated pricing sheet and explained that there was a current
“Casey, your group needs to do the stunt one more time!” coach said imprudently. It happened March 26, 2015; it was at the end of a two hour practice. During the summer months in South Georgia, it is utterly hot and humid, especially in our cheer gym (a warehouse with no air conditioner); it only has two heavy-duty fans and a roll-up door. With this in mind, my group became slightly irritated. Everyone was exhausted; nevertheless we still had to do the stunt anyway.
Yesterday I had a full practical driving test. I went in prepared and happy. However, in the beginning of the test as I was identifying hazards my driving test coordinator wasn't pleased with how I was listing them and told me to change the way I was speaking. She said this twice, and on the second time she said this she said that this was my "last warning". For example I was saying, "Making sure that the oncoming car stays on it's right, as I stay on my left", and she very forcefully wanted me to say, "Keeping an eye on the oncoming cars..." This I found frustrating as "Making sure", and "Keeping an eye", are quite synonymous to each other. Also, I have taken my defensive driving course, gone on a drive with a

At times, I can be very composed. Other times I can be the fool that I am. When I entered the airport from the plane ride from London, I started freaking out! I was in Africa, but still surrounded by White people and I could not understand their English! Luckily, Elders Reese and Spillane met us at the airport and calmed me down. They told me that the language that those people spoke was Afrikaans. Initially it sounded to me like English that I did not understand, but as I heard it more I became used to it. The thing that I wanted to do most was use the French I know to speak to someone about the gospel and I got the chance! I saw this Black guy who spoke French, who helped load our kombi or van with luggage. I testified
At the end of the 14th century, England’s first great poet, Geoffrey Chaucer assembled a collection of over twenty stories into the novel The Canterbury Tales. During the Hundred Years’ War, Chaucer composed these tales in Middle English. The Canterbury Tales is a collection of fictional stories presented by a group of English men and women as they travel along on a religious pilgrimage. The purpose of this trek was to seek the martyred saint’s blessings and to express thanks to the saint for helping them live through such harsh winter conditions.
Throughout my ePortfolio, you will see mountains. The main reason why is that I connect the journey of hiking a mountain to the journey of life. Life will sometimes rain during your hike, or you may find yourself stuck in a valley, or it can be one of the brightest days on the mountain top. One thing is for sure the best part of life is the journey, the good and the bad. My goal is that by the end of this ePortfolio, you will glimpse how beautiful the journey is.
The feeling of the newly fresh tide smell from the stack of jerseys overflows my nose. I begin dressing myself deliberately and my focus starts to be overcome by a sense of nervousness. Tying the last knot thinking how am i going to benefit my team and my teammates, but however my emotions prohibit my thinking, making me vulnerable to any mistake on the pitch. A tsunami of concerns make me think too much and lasts for an eternity.
I was born in planet Alarasar, to parents I no longer recall. I’d lived a blissful life of nothing but laughter and smiles lingering throughout the night and day, with the sight of my people gathering and chattering away. However, at the tender age of 3, an unknown figure was spotted in the sky. My home, Alarasar, had never witnessed such an ominous figure, let alone any visitors. Due to our planet’s remote location, we’d never been outside of it. My home, although far away and isolated from the rest of the planets, was a close community. We were satisfied with our planet although we’d lost connection with the rest of the galaxy. Numerous stories of the unknown galaxy were whispered from ear to ear.
Have you ever tried being part of a 30% minority with “special conditions”, while the rest of the world are completely normal? It’s not fun being a living, walking flower shop. I usually look like a cat coughing up hairballs, except I’m hacking up petals. As of now, I have a permanent flower crown of pale pink peonies growing on my head, blue hydrangeas blooming within my lungs, and a rose growing out of my right eye. I’m surprised my parents didn’t name me after a weed, instead they named me Rue, Rue Hadley.
I wished never to have to write about the early passing of anyone. I felt it strongest almost a decade when my little brother left this world from a heart condition. A great sadness when happenstance take an amazing mind. In honor of Dmitrius aka Dmitri, I have re-posted all the audios we did below. (Beware, the earlier audio is of quite low quality.)
