Cancer has found its cure, but you’ll never know for sure. One day, I was on facebook and had stumbled upon a shared video about a cancer patient, who is now in remission, talking about her story. But as the video progressed, I noticed that the point of the video wasn’t to share her cancer story; she was actually introducing the idea that there’s an existing cure for cancer.
As ridiculous as it sounds, it is very possible that a cancer cure conspiracy is true, especially with all of the human advancements in new technology. And if this does happen to be the truth, well, there goes the hope in humanity. I mean, since when was money more important the saving human lives? Is that the only thing that matters nowadays? These people must be hooked
Long times ago, even during the 19th century, scientist all over the world had started to find the cure for cancer, one of the most feared disease you can ever imagine, simply because you don’t know what the cause and how to turn it off. Cancer started
Imagine that within the snap of your finger the very tumor in your body, that was once rapidly dividing and taking over your organs is now gone. All because of a “cure”. Well, snap your fingers right back into reality. Although a cure is very much wanted, there is not one. The only “cure” is within ourselves, a simple lifestyle change. According to the Cancer Center, next to heart disease, the largest cause of death today in the United States is cancer.
every cancer patient is given hope because now doctors are coming up with medicine that can give a
Finding a panacea for cancer will be an arduous task with a very lengthy and discouraging trial and error period. Inevitably there will be some trying hurdles to get past in search of this cancer panacea, but, one that seems to be the most difficult to get passed is the severity and variety of the case presented. Doctors see this as overwhelming and very daunting since they do not want to get a patient’s hopes up if the medicine turns out not to work, or cause things to get worse. If doctors believe they have found this new and astonishing drug that cures all cancer at all stages and they prescribe it but turns out to only make the cancer worse, they will have to live knowing that they hurt all of these people and their families forever. In
In 2012, the reported spending on cancer treatment was 124.6 billion dollars (Luther.) Because of these incredible expenditures, and the lack of a concrete cure for cancer, some individuals have developed the theory that cancer is a multi-billion dollar industry, and that certain companies and organizations are suppressing information about cures and treatments to keep their industry thriving. The billions of dollars generated from cancer treatment, research and prevention persuades many to believe that our government and affiliated organization’s are withholding a cure and advanced treatments for their own benefit. Many of these individuals struggle to realize why this conspiracy theory lacks practicality. Suppressing a cure for cancer would be impractical, not all organizations are in it for the money, Medical professionals and
There is no mincing of words, nor is there a phrase with gentle connotations to adequately articulate the emotional, psychological or physical place that cancer forces upon you. Quite frankly, battling cancer sucks. The individual engaged in the battle and their support system can choose to crumble or rally. To crumble is to become angry and resentful. To rally is to rise up and use your experiences to help others. I was fortunate that my support group didn’t give me an option to crumble. I was raised in a family, in a church community that focuses on service. So, at 14 battling cancer, I was told that the only way out was through and to get through the turmoil of cancer, I was expected to find a “cancer” mentor and find a way to give back.
Five years ago in 2012 my Aunt Mary died from cancer. Cancer had consumed her whole body. It started in her liver and spread to different organs and even reached her brain. When she found out she had cancer she was told she only had a few months to live. I had just seen her on a trip we had before we found out she had cancer and that was the last time I saw her.
There is nothing anyone could have done. My sister didn’t mean to get cancer, and she couldn’t have stopped it from growing. I just wish things had happened differently and that my entire family wouldn’t be turned away from me now.
More than 50,000 people died in 2015 due to cancer, homicides, and drunk driving. Year of 2015 is the year that opened my eyes to what’s going on with the world’s current society. Cancer, homicides, and drunk driving are things I see as wrongful deaths. Others may see it as a misconception.
Have you ever feel like luck is not by your side.? That’s how I felt for many years. The environment in which I was raised shaped me into a resilient person and I’m thankful for that because I survived both cancer and my parents’ divorce.
I went in to go get a physical check up as I have been a mud obstacle course that raises funds for those with breast cancer. They have them every year. Two years ago, when I went in tor my physical a hard lump was found in my left breast. My primary care doctor sent me to get a mammogram. All I could think about how those in the past said it will hurt as your breast is being squeeze to death between two plastic plates. I had to answer a long questionnaire about my life. The breast care center wanted to know if I led some wild lifestyle involving alcohol or drugs plus more.
Being a cancer survivor presents many persistent challenges. Despite those challenges, I graduated high school with honors. Hope for an uncertain future comes in part from the salvation I find in being a college student.
Cancer. We all know someone who has suffered from it or has passed away because of it. Cancer now affects one in every three people, and is the second highest cause of death in the United States. For decades, the medical community has been on the hunt for a cure for cancer, and have been subjected to intense ridicule from the public because of a lack of progression toward a possible cure. In recent years, many scientists, doctors, researchers, and the general public have come to believe that the cure for cancer is being suppressed because of this lack of progress. Those who say it is suppressed claim that the drugs used to treat cancer actually cause cancer, making a patient sicker and sicker. As a result, the patients are forced to spend
On an unusually warm February day last year, my brother and I sat on the back porch enjoying our lunch. We laughed while prodding one another with jubilant harassments. As we conversed and consumed our meal, our parents returned from my dad’s doctor’s appointment. Because my dad was experiencing swelling in his neck we all suspected that he had an infecting in his glands, or some other minut illness. When my parents joined us, I jokingly asked, “So are you dying Dad?” The moment I uttered those words, I knew I said the wrong thing. Pain gripped my father’s face. He sighed. My parents told us that he has cancer in his throat, his glands and on the back of his tongue. I immediately left, overwhelmed by grief, worry, and anguish. Then the Lord imparted some knowledge upon me. Cancer is a terribly destructive disease, but since Jesus is a loving God, He brings people into our lives to help alleviate to pain.
The world is full of unsolvable problems with undiscovered solutions. There are small problems in the world as well as big problems in the world. A big problem that everyone has been affected by is cancer. Cancer affects the lives of many but, still has no cure. My goal is help others find a cure for cancer even if I play a little part in helping researchers find a cure.
