The food is as vibrant as the people, you can get a shishkabob next door to a place selling lobster. Walk further than the street and you'll see someone selling corn in a cup next door to a Chinese food shop. Corn in a cup is actually better tasting than it sounds by the way. For example; if you have a gluten allergy they will give you a selection of foods that does not have gluten in them and you could choose from a variety of foods safe for your health. Their menu is large and consists of a lot of options such as appetizers, soups or salads, your entree and dessert. Their menu gives a selection of “lighter foods” for those who are watching what they eat and provides a calories count on the bottom of each food item. As my girlfriend and I pull into a crowded parking lot during a chilly Friday evening, we struggle to find a spot of our own, but manage to do so as we take the place of another young couple as they pull out to leave. I put the car in park as we both gaze at the numerous parties walking into the restaurant. A bright sign, hung lit overhead, shining the phrase "Applebee's Neighborhood Bar and Grill" atop a red brick building. Awnings were placed above every window, and resting on the ground, between each window, was a wooden park bench surrounded by lush, green foliage on either side. The whole place looked as if it had been pulled straight from a friendly neighborhood in the heart of the big apple. I

I actually went to Chili’s tonight with the SXU Women’s Basketball team. All of the girls on the team made all their free throws at practice and Coach uses a restaurant of a player’s choice as an incentive to help reach the goal of 100% in free throws that day. If someone were to ask the team where they eat the most, the answer would be Chili’s, Panera Bread, or Barraco’s (which is Coach’s favorite). The service was so great I was impressed by the staff. I know when Coach makes reservations, they are here to impress and please Coach and the team. He is a well-respected man and I am sure every restaurant would be happy to help accommodate our team. We love going to Chili’s, many of the girls know the drill on helping their staff and help times move by faster.

Red Robin has to be a top choice from a critic’s perspective for the perfect setting, marvelous burgers, and respectful service when looking for the ideal dining place that is outstanding and satisfying for the whole family! No need to worry about children being picky and not finding what they enjoy. There are plenty of choices that no one can resist, including kids. Food trucks are like shooting stars at lunchtime in the city of Chicago. Street vending in Chicago has a long history that is dating back to at nineteenth century. In Chicago there are 18 trucks feeding the streets of Chicago, dishing out sandwiches, sausages, tamales, tacos, and pancakes. According to Baruch, there are about 3 million people leaving in Chicago land area with 7000 restaurants and 90 different ethnic groups, it was quick to pick and choose what to include and what would appropriately fall under the guise of street food, since Chicago is not a push cart kind of town (Baruch). There were time in the city of Chicago where the street vendors and push carts used to ruled. Chicago’s street cuisine like that of the other big cities, get its identity from and flourished under, the vast influx of immigrants populations.

As far back as I can remember, I have always liked going out to eat. Two of my favorite restaurants are Jake’s and McDonald’s. Though both are places to dine they have their differences in their ambiance, waiting, and expense. When deciding where to go to eat, I have three things to think about. I must consider the atmosphere or where I want to go. The amount of time I have is another consideration. The amount of money that I am able to spend is a big influence.
