My Trip To Missouri
My trip to missouri was very exciting.
We were in the car for 3hr,and at the 2hr we were driving we stopped at mcdonalds, and then we got back in the car and bought a horse.cant wait to go back next year.
Driving to missouri was like driving to the moon. We car at 11:00 am, Deena my neighbor brought all 5 of her dogs they were crawling all over me. Mr. Wheaton only brought cheese to snack on so we ate a lot of cheese.Deena just got a new carrie underwood cd i listened to that so much it felt my were falling to the floor.
Finally we got to mcdonalds,we got out of the car and stretched our legs, and then went in and ordered our food, the employer was being very rude and she messed my order so we got the manger.
After
30 minute drive we finally got there. I got out of the car and put all my pads
One day in Nebraska, Bill was riding in his brand new 1970 chevelle. He was thinking if he could bring it to a drag strip and race that would be great. So he got online to check if there were any events and there happened to be one in one day. So he got his car all cleaned up and tooned out for the race. The next day he got up and got ready for a great day. He got into his car and head off to the drag race track. Once he got there he got his car all ready for the race just to make sure. His opponent was very experienced and you could tell he has been racing for a while. So Bill got nervous but he was ready. His opponent had a very fast car that might have had even more power than his chevelle.
Looking back out of the small window, I catch a final glimpse of corn fields and lonely railroad crossings before they dip below the horizon. For my first time on a plane, the excitement of adventure meets me as I depart from the comfort of home and enter a world unknown outside of Nebraska. Seeing the world in God’s view as the landscape evolves below, I fall in love with flying. Looking down from 30,000 feet and seeing earth on such a vast scale, I realize how much there is to discover.
“Five Mississippi” -- Oozing crimson blood squirts and jets all over my snug apparel. Like a blazing fire, it spreads all over my “scratched” body . “Four Mississippi “-- One last glimpse of the moon playing hide and seek with the clouds, before I fade away. In that grimy, dreary, and wintry starlit sky, but that weather just made me expect the feeling of death. “Three Mississippi” -- Eyes of scarlet are gazing at me, however, I only perceive a blur; yet those eyes only made its ivory silk tailcoat, silver lining top hat, and chocolate skin seem more…nefarious. “Two Mississippi” -- Cozy fuzzy gloves are carrying me; flinging me to the strange electric glow of that eerie river; where I slowly sink into the ominous waters: drowning, bleeding,
I am not from San Antonio. I am not from Texas. I’m from California. Where no one twangs, or drawls, or even says hi to the stranger standing in line at the grocery store. Texas, half way across the U.S and what seems like a whole other country compared to California. It is a completely different place that I could have ever imagined living and calling home. I came to Texas to find myself. I didn’t know that when I came here, but it is what ended up happening.
In 1718 Spanish missionaries founded Texas taking it as a Spanish territory. Many whites started to go to Texas and began to take over. In March 1836 Texans revolted against their Spanish rule and declared their independence from Spain. Texas then became an independent nation, but Texas could not protect themselves from the Spanish attacks. On December 29th, 1845, after almost 10 years of waiting to be accepted into the United states, Texas became part of the United States.
We drove for a solid 4 hours and then pulled into a gas station to fill the tank up and eat. After that we drove a little longer and then we pulled into an RV park. My grandma went inside and talked them into letting us stay a couple nights. She made up some sad story about how we've been homeless, living in our car and
The drive took a good hour or so, and He finally told me where we were going
When we were leaving to Maryland, I was sad to leave my dog but we had no choice. Our trip to Maryland was about 12 hours long but we took about 14 or 15 hours. We left at 3 in the afternoon, and we did get lost a few times but we had a GPs. We passed by Ohio and it was so long. We also passed by Columbus and it was beautiful. We passed by a lot of cities. When we were in West Virginia my dad almost ran over a drunk man and he even looked to see if there were any cars but he just walked! The ride was so long but my brother and I couldn't sleep, all 4 of us pulled an all nighter.
Lila and I started off our morning with breakfast at the Cheshire before doing more exploring of St. Louis. First, we attended the Strange Folk Festival. Tons of shops, art, food, and music lined the streets. It reminded me exactly of festivals I used to go to growing up in the small town I lived in. It was great experiencing a little bit of St. Louis culture. After melting in the heat we made out way back to the hotel to cool down before our second night at the
Low battery. Exactly the two words I didn’t want to see right now. While on our annual trip to Kansas we are in Brian's truck heading out to the corn fields to shoot our limits of geese and ducks. Waiting for this trip every year is like going through pregnancy. You wait 9 months for it and when it finally comes your whole life changes.
Anyway, we headed off on our journey to Six Flags, hour after hour It felt like a decade due to all of the crazy drivers and us being stuck in traffic because, some lunatic had hit a telephone pole! Anyway, we finally made It after 4 hours of being annoyed, bothered, nagged It was a really bad trip
My life’s journey since graduating from Maryville High School in 1965 took me from my home town for several years, but I returned here in the summer of 2013. It is great to be back in Maryville! In addition to Maryville and Knoxville, I lived in West Tennessee (Bradford and Milan) and Fort Lauderdale.
During summer break in august I went there with my grandma.some people might get a plane vasue the trip is so long but for us we drove down.It took us 3 to 4 days to finally get to where we needed to be going. It takes along time to get there only cause from driving so long you will need to rest so we went to a hotel every night and then we got something to eat for breakfast and dinner.
When ever you’re traveling, you dont really have an adventure if you dont try new things and go to new places then youre not having an adventure. I am going to share some of my favorite activities that I have tried when I went traveling
