My Summer in Michigan Last summer, when I went to visit my aunt in Michigan. She took me to her cabin in the wilderness. I taught it was going to be boring but actually it was fun. When we got to the cabin she told me where everything is. I saw many interesting things. Lots of birds and plants that I have never seen before. I took my compass, so I wouldn't get lost, and went exploring. Still, I didn't see any animals. So I went back to the cabin, and told my aunt Barbara about my trip through the woods. My aunt advised me that the next day, when I'm going to explore the woods again, I should stay for a longer time and the animals would come out. The next day, when I woke up, I took my camera and went to the woods. I waited a long time and
Some Michigan Heroes can be people that helped you in life or helped you succeed in life. My Michigan Hero is someone that raised me, taught me everything I know in life today. This person is my idol, that gave me a hand when I needed one, or told me to keep my head up and never look down. I wouldn’t know what to do in life if this person wasn’t in it.
So some of my little and big cousins and I decided it would be fun to go on a hiking trip in the woods. The worst part was it was called Big Bear for a reason, my cousins left me and ran the other direction, but I ran the opposite way were the wasn’t. I knew I was lost but I kept running. I didn’t have any food or water around me.
Imagine yourself on a road trip to a place where the weather is different and the places are new to you. In a place where you only know family and no one else. A feeling like no other, that’s what I felt, knowing I was going to live in this new place.
My Michigan hero is not just a hero but is my grandma, she was always there for me through my ups and downs. Every day after school are used to go to her house, she would have Mack and cheese waiting for me on a little SpongeBob plate in front of the TV with SpongeBob on the TV. She was like my other half whenever I needed her the most she was there. She used to go shopping with me and my mom all the time and take us out for lunch. I alway imagined her being there with me all my life but that all changed. Just a couple years ago she had passed away and that was the hardest day of my life. I remember not wanting to go to her funeral because I couldn't stand seeing all the memories and pictures of us together. When I first walked into the room I just
Michigan's capital and my current place of residence. DeWitt is wonderful place for children to spend their early years, and for many of my acquaintances, still a nice place to live. When I was young, Dewitt was a growing and friendly community. The atmosphere was brimming with positive attitudes and possibilities. It sounds corny, but honestly driving down the street, with every waving arm offering a warm welcome, you would think you entered a cheesy family sitcom neighborhood.
Tall, brown eyes and creative, the funniest person in the room and makes you want to laugh. He was the only one there for me when I needed a second hand or to have each other's backs, he means the world to me. The only friend I had as a little kid, my brother A.K.A. Michigan hero.
It was dark and cold in there but we had to suck it up or else whoever was out there would find us. I crawled over to a small crack in the tree and looked out. They were right outside. I couldn’t tell who they were or what
When you think of someone who would be a hero from your state, you would probably come up with a person who was an astronaut, sports player, an actor or somebody who has saved many lives. It may come to you as a shock when I tell you my personal Michigan hero is my older brother Jacob. Jacob is only 2 years older than me, but has gone through so much. He was diagnosed with Autism when he was two years old. He didn’t talk until he was 5 years old and has struggled and worked so hard to get where he is at today. Kids with autism are all different, but my brother Jacob is definitely one of a kind. He has a hard time saying the words he wants to say and at the same time loves talking. He is a Special Olympics athlete
When we came back from spring break i was on the baseball team this is a big surprise because surprise because i am bad at the game. When our first practice came around we were talking about fundamentals of the game. When i was listening i was confused because he wasn't making sense nor was he giving us the right information. One example is when you dip you shoulder and hit a pop up you dip your back shoulder and he said you dip your front shoulder.

Everything seems like it’s falling out of place. “How did this happen?” I asked myself. Our car pulls into the driveway of our new house, and I feel like a stranger in this new town, nine hours away from the only place that felt like home. “We’re here!” my mom exclaims. My family can’t be happier to be here, but I feel like my world is falling apart. I had to say goodbye to Wisconsin, and hello to Michigan.
After that we sat in silence for about 20 minutes until the cold began to nip at my feet and the tips of my fingers which made me very restless but I tried to do my best so I would not scare away the deer. When we hit the 60 minute mark I was bored out of my mind, I thought I would go crazy, but suddenly my Father grabbed my coat and pointed out Words the west side of the field that we were watching. I

Suitcase, so much clothes, clutter, packed van load, yelling, 18 hour ride….I have been to Colorado almost 3 times in a row! I’m going again next year that's why I said almost. My family loves Colorado and Wyoming we have been over there for 3 years straight! This year we broke the record and went to Michigan. I have gone to Michigan 3 times this year.
I was playing soccer in the back of the field at school with all my friends when the intercom called my name telling me that I was leaving. I ran to my classroom with my heart pounding with excitement. Me and my dad were going to go hunting for deer with my uncles. I ran into my classroom. When I entered my teacher asked me where I was going, I told him that I was going hunting, and he smiled and told me to have fun. I grabbed my backpack and ran out the door to the office. When I got to the office my dad was sitting there waiting for me. He checked me out and we walked out. He asked me if I was excited and I was just thinking why he asked that question because I was talking about this day for about a month, and I was waiting for the time to pass all day. We got to the car and drove home to get ready.
