Jamie Waldo, one of South Windsor’s best and brightest, is making the most of her high school career. There are so many wonderful adjectives that come to mind when one thinks of Jamie: focused, responsible, hardworking, and caring are just a few. Frequently she is seen throughout the school actively involved. Jamie is not one to boast or brag about her accomplishments, but quietly relishes the success from her tireless effort. She is a friendly individual who is motivated and excited about what the future may hold. It is readily apparent that Jamie knows that we are all given but one life and she is determined to make the most of it.
As her counselor at South Windsor High School, I have seen Jamie blossom into a well-rounded student who is an exemplary role model for all. From the time Jamie stepped into this building, it was clear that she was a highly motivated individual with many talents. Along with her strengths as a student, I would be remiss if I did not mention the wonderful individual that is Jamie Waldo. She is a friendly person who is always ready to listen to others and never passes judgment. She is not swayed by the majority and holds firm to her values and beliefs. She has a strong and supportive family who must be extremely proud of the person she is today.
Academically, Jamie has consistently given

She has already demonstrated the skills that are necessary to lead her into a successful and fulfilling career. Jamie is excited and serious about pursuing a degree in elementary education. She is a very bright young woman who has prepared well by enrolling in related courses our school has to offer. She has achieved success throughout her high school career and I know will only add to these successes beyond high school. It is with great enthusiasm that I recommend Jamie for admission to your
Herndon High School has embraced the following mission statement, “All Hornets Are Capable of Success, No Exceptions!” Herndon became a Kids At Hope school. Herndon encourages students to believe in their individual potential and challenge themselves to define success. They understand the importance of finding hope in the face of adversity. Students when presented with challenges see the opportunity for change and growth. Last year, in the first implementation year of Kids At Hope, the HHS faculty and staff focused on creating a culture where WE BELIEVE in the success of all of our students, NO EXCEPTIONS!. The real strength of the Kids at Hope movement is the way adults interact with students and how students have come to interact with each
Throughout my three years at Barnegat High School I have strived to be a respectful, responsible and influential student and athlete. I have worked hard to stand out among my peers, be dedicated to everything I do, work towards achieving my personal goals and positively influence those around me. As an individual and a young adult, I believe it is the responsibility of younger generations to work towards being the best version of ourselves we can possibly be and positively contribute to others and our community. Overall, I aspire to be a well rounded individual and character that demonstrates the qualities of respect, citizenship, and responsibility.
I would first like to say nice to meet you and thank you for your service in the Air Force. In your post I noticed you mentioned that you are a duck hunter and that you also garden in you off time. I was wondering when you first took an interest in those two things and how long have you been doing it for. As an LSU Tigers fan who did you find more entertaining to watch this year the football team or the basketball team with all the hype surrounding Ben Simmons. Another question I feel the need to ask is what is your favorite Louisiana dish to eat and/or cook? It been a while since I have been to Louisiana and enjoyed the food but it always nice to hear what the locals say are best things to eat from there.
There are few teachers who are as caring and kindhearted as Mr. John Cox. Mr. Cox is a special education teacher here at Potosi High School and it is safe to say that I have known him for most of my life. I have never had Mr. Cox as one of my teachers personally, but he taught my oldest brother, Floyd, from 3rd grade until he graduated his senior year. Floyd is pretty unique. He has been blind since birth and has developmental delays, meaning that he needs patient, understanding teachers. Mr. Cox is definitely one of those teachers. My family was quite close with Mr. Cox because Floyd (and the rest of our family) loved and appreciated him. I remember several times when I was young, when Christmas rolled around, Mr. Cox would send a gift home
This day today is a hard one for all of us. Losing a loved one is the saddest event in our lives. When you lose a loved one, your heart feels heavy and sad. And that’s what I am going through right now.
Working with David on this case, elicit so much excitement out of me, not only because it was a high profile case, but also because it would unquestionably benefit my career’s welfare and having David, as my mentor, would be extremely educational. I was surprised he asked me to assist him with the case considering the short noticed did not allowed me to prepared appropriately, but I trusted his judgment.
Every year ever since my goal would be to take home the awarded diploma to the best student in the class. I chose to convey exemplary values to those around me, be it classmates, friends, or family. Although quirky, and having been an only child for the longest and loneliest seven years of my upbringing, I eagerly and earnestly strived to make an effort in becoming a successful and respectable member of my family, neighborhood, and surroundings. I anticipated becoming a role model as a soon-to-be older
It is with great enthusiasm I recommend Kayla Waterman. She is a student who is making the most of her high school career. Kayla is a caring student who is truly inspired by life. Dedicated to helping others and consistently raising the bar, Kayla is a remarkable role model. With a strong concern for others, she lives by following a sound conviction to support others. Highly respected by peers and staff alike, she will be greatly missed, but is certain to achieve success beyond high school. Her skills, maturity, and outlook on life are a recipe for success.
I hope you slept well. I had a dream I was in school and Alec Baldwin was the principal. Then I was in lexington and trying to get a rental car but all of the customers kept cutting me, I finally get a car but then its stolen with my wallet. Ha! I am going to walk over in a bit and see if Mike is going to Grandma's. Mom is totally still asleep, it's confirmed the past 1.5 years all she's done is sit in her room and watched tv.. you can tell by every angle of this house and her. At least I did stuff may not have been much and I might have been drunk or high.. but I still did things and WORKED...*DOT
Friedrich Nietzsche once said that “In every real man a child is hidden that wants to play.” Well even if he was wrong when it comes to everyone else, he certainly hit the nail on the head with Zack Mikat, a young man whose face is rarely without a smile when among his friends. I first met him about four years ago, when we were both members of a homeschool co-op in Thomasville, North Carolina. We were not very close of friends back in those days, although we did have a few mutual friends and therefore sometimes hung out around each other. The next year he didn’t come back to the co-op, but he came back the year after that, although we still did not know each other well enough to call ourselves friends. However the following year I joined
Week one has passed by quickly! I think this week was very successful and I can say that I have learned many new things. This week has been an experience for me learning things about the business world. I am not a business major so I was not expecting to take these classes. I was assigned them, but have found them very beneficial. As I read through the first couple of chapters I read things I had heard before. This was a good thing that I could put the information with the terms I had heard previously.
Being a positive, responsible, and caring individual is what I strive for. I am currently enrolled in Charles Spencer High School and plan to graduate in 2018 with honours in all subjects. I demonstrate leadership and motivational skills, while still trying to make the workplace enjoyable for everyone. My goal is to always accomplish the challenge at hand to the best of my ability.
Growing up with a father in the military, you move around a lot more than you would like to. I was born just east of St. Louis in a city called Shiloh in Illinois. When I was two years old my dad got the assignment to move to Hawaii. We spent seven great years in Hawaii, we had one of the greatest churches I have ever been to name New Hope. New Hope was a lot like Olivet's atmosphere, the people were always friendly and there always something to keep someone busy. I used to dance at church, I did hip-hop and interpretive dance, but you could never tell that from the way I look now.
These past three years have been life-changing for me, but I am by no means done -. I plan to finish my last year of high school with a bang. Whether it means going all out for spirit days, or early mornings and late nights to get work done, I will always keep these valuable lessons in mind to make our school a better place- not because I'm the President or a mentor or a prefect or anything, but because I’m Christopher Mohan and that’s the way Thornhill raised
We may never know when our life is complete. Life is filled with endless possibilities and a great range of problems that will always affect the future. In the novel and film, High Fidelity, Rob Gordon cannot put the pieces of his life together as he struggles to form a strong relationship with the people around him. It was a long and hard conflict he had to face, though he was able to learn the absolute “Truth”, or noumena, of reality. Similar to Rob, all I wanted was my life to be one. I had this mindset that I had to fit into something. Whether this something was the “in” crowd, the artists, the writers, the jocks, I wanted to feel like I’m part of a larger group. This may have been the same way Rob had felt when searching for reasons as to why his life is the way it was. We both
