I am Dre Childs, i'm from Lake Village Ar, I was raised by my grandmother and grandfather Bettie and Johnny Graham. My parents are Monique Smith and Demontrel Childs. I have 6 brothers 2 older brothers, 4 younger brothers. Growing up in Lake Village it was fun being able to go to my cousin house and chill with the whole hood. Jumping on the trampoline, going to play basketball, and playing baseball in the field in front of my house. Back then was fun now Lake Village really not the same. My 7th grade year I moved to Conway, AR with my mama Monique, her husband Shane, and my three brothers Lil Shane, Manny, Eli. My dad Demontrel also lived in Conway but he stayed across town. Everything about Conway was bigger from the schools, stores, and
When I was three I moved to Dubuque because my dad got a job in Dubuque I lived at my grandparents’ house while my house was being built. I spent most of my time during this time playing with my friends I went to the pool with my neighbor Lauren we met because her dad build my house and we went to the same school and then my brother and her brother would get picked up and would go to the pool.
Unlike many of my peers, I wasn’t raised in Montgomery County. I was born in Savannah, Georgia on September 10th 1997. After Georgia we lived in Anchorage, Alaska. During that time my now 16 year old sister, Asha was born. After Alaska we packed up and moved to Fairfield, Ohio. My now 11 year old sister, Malea was born there. That’s where I ended up spending almost 12 years there. After moving constantly when I was younger due to my mom being in the Army, it was nice to be stable somewhere. We ended up moving to Gaithersburg after my mom got a promotion in D.C. I started my Junior year at Quince Orchard very scared and nervous. Luckily, I met some amazing people that helped adjust to the move. The move to Gaithersburg made me realize that I
The first four years of elementary, I attending two different schools in Eudora, Arkansas where I live. The first school I attending was Eudora G.C. Johns Elementary School. I think I was at that school for half of my kindergarten year before it was shut down & we relocated to Eudora High School for lower elementary kids. The Eudora High School students were then transferred to Lakeside High School to further their education & to graduate. The Eudora School District & Lakeside School District had combined. Therefore when we were done with our Third grade year we had to go to Lakeside to finish Fourth grade through Twelfth grade. Which was a dramatic change, I was new there but I wasn't alone. My cousin Makiya went to that school, we grew up
Growing up, we lived (and currently live) in Oak Cliff. At around age 3, I went to pre-school, at a chain school named Mi Escuelita. My first friends were my teachers; they always provided understanding and sparked my love and ambition for learning. My most memorable moment there was when I learned to spell my name. It gave me a sense of self and identity, which is important.
I think one of the reasons that me and my mom moved around so much was because of my mom and dad's divorce when I was five. The first school I went to was Marshal Elementary in Arizona but not even a year after starting there my mom decided to move to Oregon so I finished my first grade year at Meadowlark Elementary in eugene. once I had finished my first grade year my mom decided that I should learn spanish so she sent me to a spanish immersion school called called Buena Vista. But during the summer of my second grade year my mom found us some new roommates so we moved in with them then we all ended up moving to Camp Creek. I spent my third grade year at Camp Creek. during my third grade year my mom fought my dad for custody over me. When my mom own custody over me my time with my dad was cut down to about a fourth of what it was before. I
I was born in a big city called Baltimore, MD, but raised in a small town called Saint Stephen, SC. My mother had to relocate in order to take care of my ailing great-grandfather. While working toward her
Looking back at it, moving from the Rockwall/Rowlett area to little Caddo Mills was a major culture shock (even if it was only a 30 minute drive). My 5-year-old, carefree self had no idea though. My first day of Kindergarten, in August of 2003, is the day I met the people who are like family now. I didn’t realize it then, or even in middle school with all the dumb drama, but my peers are some of the most amazing people I
I was nine years old when I moved to California from Japan, all the way across the world. Moving to California was quite possibly the weirdest experience that has happened to me as a child. Trying to move from a place that I pretty much spent my life in than literally going across the world without knowing anything about it was very foreign to me, however my parents used to live in california for about one or two decades.
It was early in the morning when we got to my aunts house. I couldn't believe that we were in Elkhart,Indiana. Its was a big change for all of us. But it wasn't bad like we all thought , we start school on that Monday. I think what made me scared to move to Indiana, it was the part to learn English. But i wasn't that bad like
When I was about 11 years old I moved to Canton Michigan from Las Vegas Nevada. It was a dramatic change in my life. Not only is it quite a distance from Nevada. But there was also a different outcome that were made from the people to the weather and not being able to see my dad anymore.
I am Janae Beasley. I am 26 years of age. Currently, I reside in Maryland, in a town that is very modest and peaceful. I have a dog named Sosa, and an array of fresh water fish. I am a wife to a man with a heart of gold and a mother of an energetic, fearless, and amazing nine month old baby boy. I thoroughly enjoy: planning events, singing, going to church, watching animated movies, listening to music and spending time with my family.
I moved to Florida when I was thirteen, I remember being extremely excited, due to the lack of snow, and my family and I would go to Miami for vacation, and moving there would be like to move to the vacation.

My house was close to my elementary school, Lupin Hill. Sometimes I would walk(10) with my mom and sister to it up a very steep hill. Although we did have a “secret” pathway to the school that was shorter. There was also the park. I remember we always called it the Red Park. The Red Park was within walking distance(5) and where I would hang out with my friends often. On the last day of school, once, there was a water balloon fight with bright colourful balloons that would explode when they hit you.(9)
When I was three years old my family moved to farmland in Arizona. I lived there with my three older siblings and our parents for nine years. Even today, this place holds a very special place in my heart. The farm was an exciting and wonderful place for four kids to grow up and gave me experiences and taught me many important lessons that I would not have had anywhere else. My siblings and I spent so much time together playing, doing chores, and having adventures together. Because most of my childhood was spent there, I have strong attachments to the emotions and memories of my life growing up there.
