I remember a past experience that has influenced me to how I am today. I used to be afraid of heights until I went on an airplane. It had been my first time to ride an airplane and be in the air. When I first stepped on the plane I was very shaky about going. When the plane began to take off from the airport I was very nervous. We were up in the sky and I wanted to be back on the ground in a few minutes. It took a few hours. When we landed in Georgia we got off the plane and got our items.
We went around the beach part of Georgia and we ate a lot of shrimp. We also went on a few islands and went on a shrimp boat. My favorite part of the islands was their Dairy Queens. After we had fun in Georgia I had completely forgot about the plane. We
There was very many trials and events during this time, so much so I could write a book so this is really only the tip of the tip of the iceburg.
Let me tell you about what has impacted my life to make me the person I am today.I think the thing that has impacted my life the most is my sisters.I have two sisters who are younger than me.At first I didn’t like having sisters. At first meaning I still don’t.When I was three my first sister was born.I didn’t like her that much, and I still don’t.I hit her in the head with a hammer when she was a baby and she always acts like I hate her.Everytime i’m mad at her she hold it over my head that I hit her in the head with a hammer and put nails in her hand.I was three it wasn’t like I mean’t to kill her.
Starting high school can be a little scary, especially when you have no guidance from siblings, like me, being the first one from my family to have an education. But that did not stop me from succeeding, I?ve always been confident and determined. I?m an enthusiastic when it comes to trying new things. Who would have thought I was going to be a good athlete plus a book geek, when in my past years I was just a regular kid. I was pretty excited about joining a club that had a connection with high school, that way I didn?t have to start from zero, I always want to be a step ahead. Fortunately, in summer, a high school coach was recruiting freshmen for running either cross country or track, they both involve running, so I considered it like the same sport with different timing. And this is when it all started. Running
Have you ever had something happen to you that changed your life forever? Something that you will never forget. It’s something that makes you who you are whether it is good or bad to makes you special. I know it’s hard to believe that one event could change your whole life but I promise you it can. A major life changing event happened to me on July 20th, 2011. This is the day that my youngest sister Carly was born. On this day my whole life was changed and it will never be the same again. July 20th I said good bye to my old self and started taking steps to become the person that I am today.
Throughout my early childhood, I knew I wanted to change lives for the better. I have always contemplated on being a doctor since the age of three and decided to be an actress/singer at age six. Since then I have worked hard to maintain good grades and up until now I have worked relentlessly to maintain good grades, this all payed off when I was accepted into a university that would give me the opportunity to follow my dreams. To be able to accomplish my dreams, I have studied, auditioned, and performed to get prepared and be in the place i’m in today. If it wasn't for my determination, persistent, realization, and hard work, I wouldn't be where I am today. Through countless rehearsals, I was able to accomplish my dream of learning how to sing,

Overall, I am a work in progress that continues to enhance in my basic and advanced skills day by day. I believed I am getting better and I will continue to practice until I am a master piece. Honestly, I feel comfortable entering the counseling field after learning many techniques and tools that will help me grow as a counselor.
Have you ever felt robbed of a childhood? At the age of six, I was placed into the DYFS system. I moved from house to house, not really having the chance to grow up like normal children. I didn’t get to experience things such as ; asking my older sister advice on boys, learning how to cook grandma’s favorite recipe, or going on family vacation to Disney world . I worked hard to get where I am right now. My experiences have made me of who I am today , my story will tell you my background, where I came from and why my application is incomplete without it.
The five items that I chose that best reflects who I am today would be a soccer jersey, earbuds, my key club pen, a book, and a beauty blender. I chose my soccer jersey because it reflects my love for soccer and how teamwork is everything. I also chose earbuds because it reflects my passion for listening to music, I listen to music on a daily basis with anything and everything that I do. I added my Key Club pen to the list because it reflects the dedication that I have for helping others around the community and how I hope to be able to do more in the future. A Book would be the thing that would best reflect who I am today because I love reading. Reading is my most favorite way to pass time, anywhere anytime. A beauty blender would probably
Growing up in a very traditional Asian household, I was pushed every day to achieve any goal I sought out to accomplish. Whether it was playing piano, practicing the viola, or studying for school, my parents were always supportive with any goal I had in mind. One of the main reasons why I am who I am today is because where my parents originated from and their desire to follow the American Dream for not just them but my sister and I.
I saw, even though you tried to cover my eyes. I heard, even though you tried to block my ears. I felt, even though you pretended there wasn't a reason to. How could I possibly understand what I was seeing and feeling at such a young age? Who was there for me to talk to about it? No one..I had to comprehend so much. I sat behind the door with my back against it, when the screaming began again I closed my eyes this time. I pictured myself in a meadow with the grass being pure green and the sky being pure blue. The sun shined so brightly on my skin and the feeling of warmth comforted me. I could see a man walking up to me, but he was so bright you couldn't see his face. My throat was in a knot and my heart was heavy, but as
An important part of every humans life is having something they believe in. Having something to care about is essential for people to reach their full potential in life. People need a special person in their life, or a great job that sparks passion in them to bring them happiness. There are many of these types of passions in my life but to better understand who I am, there isn't just one, there are three people who have shaped the young adult I am today. My two little sisters and my little brother. However they aren't exactly normal siblings, they were given to us by the City of Cincinnati for temporary care, while their mothers tried to recover from heroin addiction and battled in court to explain why their child was hospitalized because of a lack of food.
Throughout the cycle of life, everyone passes through obstacles that seem to overrule our lives. However, a key difference is that people with autism have trouble understanding social cues made by other people in life. Those with autism know the struggles and challenges that life can offer for a person. During my life, I have overcome obstacles, but one obstacle that I would be of the utmost proud to have overcome, is completing high school.
There were many behaviors that I could have chosen that I need to work on to better my life, such as procrastinating less, sleeping more, or stop chewing my nails, which were all rejected because I chose the more important topic to me, I chose to be more healthy and lose 15 pounds. I chose this because I was not participating in any aerobic activity, was only lifting weights 2 times a week, and need to be in shape for next years basketball season. I designed my project so that I can get the easy stuff under my belt and in the schedule then I add the things that are harder for me so that is all I have to worry about.
Everything that I have attained in the past helped define who I am today. Everything I have gone through and have done in the previous years of my life molded me into the person I am today. Not only have they shaped me into who I am; but also guided me in discovering the potentials I did not realize that I had. Without the challenges and hardships of the past, I know that I would not be who I am today.
