It was eleven o'clock in the morning on a Sunday. Abbey Bominable rubbed her eyes, stretching as the warm sunlight washed over her through the apartment window. As she brushed some wisps of hair from her face, she noticed Heath whispering something very quietly. Brow furrowing, she sat up, seeing that Heath had brought their baby boy into bed with them. Heath was trying to get Icer to smile, something the little baby had recently started doing. However, Icer just stared at his father curiously and tried to stick his fingers into his mouth. Abbey smiled, stroking Icer's head lovingly. "Why is he not in own bed?" Heath gave Abbey a kiss on the cheek, and then he gave one to Icer. "I heard him start to cry, and I didn't want that to wake you up." Abbey …show more content…
"This place could use a cleaning job. I mean, look at the- oh, no!" she jumped, looking in disgust at the gum she had stepped in. "Oh, my Ra! Where am I!?" Duece helped his girlfriend sit down on the church steps and clean the bottom of her shoe with a disinfectant wipe from his wallet. Clawd took this moment to approach. "Hey, glad you could make it!" Clawd smiled, shaking Duece's hand. "Yeah, totally! I'm glad I could come!" Duece broke the handshake and peeled the rest of the gum off Cleo's shoe. "Is that better, babe?" Cleo sighed. "I suppose. Hopefully I don't step in anything else." She stood up, straightening out her skirt. "Now, where is this luncheon I've heard so much about?" "Come with me," Clawd said, beckoning the two. "I'll show you around." Heath had arrived awhile earlier, and he accompanied Clawd around the church with the others. Clawd led the group down a long hallway, where detailed paintings of saints lined the walls. Heath grimaced at a picture of Saint Bartholomew being skinned alive. "Geez, this place is creepy. And not in a good way." He turned to Clawd, quirking an eyebrow. "How do you come here every
“Yeah-yeah just gimme a minute.” He said then picked up his serape which had been left in the training area floor. He was sporting a more casual attire, having no need to dress for a fight. Once you were both settle in the currently empty cafeteria, you started.
“What else is there?” asked Cleo, as she starts to get back on her feet. The mother straightens up as much as she can, extending hand back to her
"I didn't know there was going to be a zombie apocalypse, so I didn't empty my bladder," she replied, rounding on me. "I gotta pee!"
The swish of the basket marks another point for my team. We cheer, and I go to high five Lauren who's closest to me.
Daniel's bemused expression said more than words. His eyes swept across the room, and his brows furrowed slightly. The dark gray walls were painted bright yellow. Baby animal decals replaced the Amsterdam posters.
“For your shitty attitude, it’s really starting to annoy me. Get ready for school, you’re going to be late,” he said. Then he closed the door behind him and
"I ain 't gonna to say hello to them! I gotta tell my papa what kind of people moved in there," she answered.
“Ives, yo, come on. We’re leaving.” Clarice said, drumming her nails obnoxiously to the beat of some pop song that had been blaring from outside of the bathroom.
After taking several long, shuddering breaths, Maxen opened his eyes and reached out to cradle the back of Audra’s head. “I didn’t realize you had a child until Rory was more than a year old. I paid people of news of Aber Hael, feigning interest because I had once lived there,
“Thanks, sorry for ignoring you; I just can’t comprehend how cool this is, to be going to state.” I acknowledged her.
"Hi, I'm sorry to bother you," she stopped right in front of me, she was panting. Her body bent over, her hands on her legs for a brief second. "I'm new around here, and I'm lost. Do you know where the Lost Valley apartments are?"
“Why, hello there!” she said cheerfully as she approached them. “You brought some guests with ya today, did ya?” she smiled.
Marco stood next to her, looking around the familiar building. “Yeah. I remembered that you haven't been here before and I knew you'd love it.”
My eyes shutter as a sliver of bright light casts itself over my sleep deprived being, waking me up from my oasis. My shoulders rotate towards my back as my arms reach over my head stretching towards the sky, and make there way back to my sides again. I muster all of the energy my drained body can provide and slowy sit up, leaning on my forearms. My eyes pan across my sanctuary one last time before I get out of my inviting bed, and mentally prepare myself for the twelve hours to come.
July 2nd. Leaving the house in the early morning with the sun barely shining as it is coming out from its hiding place behind the trees, my mother, Magvern (my brother), and I were taken to LA Greyhound station. Walking inside with our luggages tailing behind us, we see families clustering around the ticket and information desk. With our already printed tickets in hand, we walk toward the baggage check before entering the waiting station for the bus. As we wait for our departure, my brother took out his phone and my mom starts to crochet while I am left to my demise. Out of boredom, I start to text my cousins; however, no was awake yet. Staring at the blank screen it felt like hours were passing by. Finally, I saw an icon flashing, Lily was on! The moment did not last
