Sam couldn't play basketball anymore so he was like there coach.Rams where playing another team. They got another player instead of sam. There coach said so ben will guard the best player on the other team. Ben was like what he to good, his coach said well he's to good but you are faster. They started the game ben was guarding Robbie doing good being fast. Rams where in the lead 52-50 in the lead. But then 9 seconds left and the other team scored 52-51. Rams lose by 1 point.

The book starts off with Coach Giminski shouting out “Layup Drill” louder than all the basketballs on the court pounding against the wall the floor, the backboard, and the net: everything! From the start until halftime the game was going very well, but after halftime it started going downhill. With five minutes left Billy's team was up by only 4 points, they knew it would be a close one. The team started to rally and they held Billy’s team scored 6 points. It was two weeks before the state championship game and Ella and her team had been working really hard to win. The next day was friday it was time for the game Heffay went to practice while Quan stayed home to rest. Quan ate before the game Quan knew was going to win the game. Jimmy was a 15 year kid from Chicago who was trying to make a living with a few dollars. Jimmy was also a big basketball player on his local boys and girls club team and was one of the best players in his state. Each day he woke up he didn't know where he would be sleeping the next night or what he might even eat for breakfast.
