Walking up to the shelter only to find that the dog we wanted is being taken home by another family, we thought we wouldn't be getting a dog today. But when we found her, we were glad that the other dog was taken. Her black, slicked back fur shedding off of her perfect dog body. Her black beady eyes are bulging out of her head with the look of excitement. Unable to hold herself back she breaks the leash that the vet was trying to hold her back with. Running to us, she slips and falls on her head. We don’t have a second to worry because she jumps up and starts licking our faces with her slobbery tongue. By the time she is tired from licking our faces, we feel as if we just went swimming in a pool of melting jello
The road is so flat and straight; you can see them coming from a mile away. Six runners flow in arrowhead formation around the Canadian city of Saskatoon. The early November air is still and dry, the sky overcast, and the temperature hovers a bit above freezing, just as predicted.
Remove what causes the barking. One of the reasons why you need to know how to stop your dog from barking is because of the presence of an external stimuli and the quiet command is of no use. For example, if an ambulance siren is heard, your dog will definitely go ballistic and will make noises until the ambulance is far enough that it will no longer be heard. In cases like this, it is best to pull your dog to a direction away from the ambulance to remove what causes the barking.

Hi everyone, I am new here, but wanted to share an idea I have for a ongoing fundraising opportunity. So, I have this app called Walk for a Dog where every mile you walk the company (Wooftrax, Inc) donates 25 cents to your rescue of choice. I know this isn't a dog rescue or shelter, but when I was scrolling through the list of shelters on the app I passed by a raccoon rescue/sanctuary and that made me think maybe AWWS could benefit from this app. I believe to get your rescue/sanctuary on the app you have to sign up on the website on the computer. Just an idea that I wanted to throw out there and see what you all
When I was a little kid I would watch my older brother ride his bike with all of his friends and I
Later on, Linda and I, happy together went to the garden to climb trees, eat leafy food, and pursue butterflies in playing field close by a colossal waterway. At that moment my only wish was to go to class I thought. At one time in a while, I played with little sheep, they are so dazzling, splendid creatures. Causing a gathering of fun we disregarded time. It was getting dreary, I expressed,

From a young age, my aspirations have not been among the same as my peers. There have been a plethora of variables that have distinguished my character as I am today, from being told that I would amount to nothing, to taking part in a youth group which would change my life completely. One event in particular that impacted my young mind was a two week summer bootcamp. It was there that I realized nothing worth anything in life would come without some kind of cost or struggle. On that army base in Dublin, California I made lifelong friends, learned to work as a team, and how to persevere through a tough situation no matter how difficult the struggle may be. A team exercise that especially strikes me as vital, was rather simple in a sense. When
How do you stop a nuisance Barker? Easy: Teach them how to “speak” and ” sing.” This might be more interesting for bothersome humans, but just way cuter for canines. All types of dogs, may it be size or breed, can be easily taught to speak. The way for it to go is to call your dog, show him a treat (which never disappoints), and says ” Speak.”
I have one dog named Josie. She is a German shorthaired pointer and she is 6 years old. We got Josie about 6 years ago from Timber Hill Farms. Josie loves to hunt and retrieve tennis balls. She also likes to go “fishing”, by fishing I mean running up and down the shore of the lake chasing the fish. The first time we brought Joise up north was when she was a few months old, that was when she discovered fish. Now every time we go up north she goes fishing, even when it is 40 degrees outside.
“Mom!” I screamed, “Call an ambulance!” I remembered we were in my room and blood was everywhere, my mom was shaking as she grabbed the phone to call the hospital. My sister acted like she didn’t even know what happened, until she heard me scream for help then she got scared and started crying when she saw the blood. “What happened!?” my mom asked very scared, “Something happened to Alicia!”
