Dr Evatt,
As you know, during week 4 and 5 of this term I was in Dubai, and was having issues submitting my work due to their restrictions placed on the Internet. I returned to Afghanistan, and my work location at the end of week 5. On 4 Oct, I was sexually assaulted and since then have been in the center of an ongoing investigation. As a result I have gotten so far behind, as it's been extremely difficult to concentrate on my classes. I know at this point I'm no longer doing so well in the class, however I don't want to let that stop me from finishing the course.
My question is, is it possible to add an additional day to have all of my course work submitted, I know it probably won't be 100% correct, because at week 6, I got confused and

I have found that in all of my semesters here at FGCU this by far has been the toughest for me to complete. There has been lots of hard work put into all 4 of my courses, two jobs, and my level 1internship this semester and I’ve still found myself falling behind in EDF 4470 Classroom Assessment. After a few late and incomplete assignments, I still felt as though I had a chance to regain focus in this course. Unfortunately for me, however, things began to get worst and I became so far behind that there was no possible way that I would be able to complete each missing assignment and pass this course. Once I realized that I wouldn’t be able to withdrawal from this course because I had missed the deadline, without hesitation I spoke with my course
It started as typical Tuesday with a couple of court hearings, maybe an arrest, but nothing to exciting. That all changed at dawn.
The late 1960’s and early 1970’s were a time of great change in America. The Vietnam War, the civil rights movement and the sexual revolution were just some of the issues on the evening news in American households. For citizens of the San Francisco Bay area, as well as the rest of California, the late 60’s early 70’represented terror, fear and death. “The bizarre and theatrical and still unresolved serial murders by real-life ghoul who called himself Zodiac, who claimed in letters to have killed 37 people (though police have focused on five homicides and two attempted murders in the greater Bay Area in 1968 and 1969” (Booth,2) have intrigued people for nearly four decades. How has Zodiac remained so elusive? What
First off let's get things straight i'm dead at first I thought I wasn't dead then I looked in a mirror .Now i just ride along with the monsters of the night we decided to take a trip to africa. That's where our story begins.
My Freshman year of college, I was a mechanical engineering student at the George Washington University. It was there that I learned how difficult school could really be. My past schooling experience had not prepared me for this extremely rigorous program. As one of my requirements for the program was a social science, I had registered for a history course my first semester. Unknowingly, I had registered for a third-year history class, clearly not the correct class for a freshman engineering student. I went on to struggle with the amount of work that was assigned for the course including an 18 page research paper. This course, on top of the difficult engineering curricula was extremely challenging. At this point, I also realized that although
During my second semester of Sophomore year, I cheated on my “Gender, Race, and Class in a Global Context” final exam. I brought in unauthorized notes and used them on parts of the exam. In return, I received a failing grade in the class. On my own time, I wrote a formal apology letter to my teacher because I felt that it was necessary in order to forgive myself for my actions. The school required that I write a letter regarding my poor decision making to the code of conduct office. I also enrolled in an Honor Code class. During this time, I was particularly overwhelmed with the material in my Gender class. I spent a majority of my time studying for my math and science finals since they both have always been my most challenging. I let my stress level get the best of me. Soon after, I began to understand how serious of a mistake I
If I was a European thinking about moving to the New World, I would base my decision based off the images and descriptions that were available. One of the images that would deter me from migrating away was a piece of artwork done by Jacques Le Moyne. His picture entails a group of natives who are trying to fight off a fearsome looking alligator. Theodore De Bry describes them plunging a pole into it’s mouth and turning it around so they can stab their stomach. He goes on to say that the natives have to watch out for them day and night because of how frequent they appear. Since I don’t really know how to defend myself against such creatures, I would be afraid to live somewhere where danger is constant. I also would not want to deal with vampire
The major reason for my interest in the social work profession became obvious while I was enrolled in the Introduction to Social Work class during the spring semester of my sophomore year. I finally found an interesting subject that I not only enjoyed but also excelled academically in. I had always wanted to be the person who help others, especially those who have similar stories and backgrounds such as mine. It was through my education in Introduction to Social Work that I learned about society through a social workers’ perspective. I became more interested as the weeks went by and began engaging in class discussions.
In the year 2004, it was a difficult time for me because I was working two jobs due to my financial needs. I procrastinated on many my assignments because I spent some much time working instead of studying. I guessed if I reviewed or studied a little before class, I would be okay; however, that was not the case. When I received my warning letter of suspension, I promise myself I would do better. Before midterm, I was already demonstrating the same poor studying habits and it did not make my current situation any better. As a result of my less than satisfactory performance that year, I was suspended. The biggest factor in my suspension was poor time management and not being responsible or dedicated to school. Everything had become more important than those classes, especially making money. I did not take
During fall 2015 I worked full time in construction. I took 4 classes, 2 at Metropolitan State University of Denver, 1 at Front Range CC Boulder & 1 at Front Range CC Westminster. I would drive from Westminster to Denver, then from Denver to Longmont. I could not handle the load. I tried to save all my classes but only saved two. Between work, traffic, and school, I set myself up for disaster and failed. I dropped the class`s last minute.
Growing up, I didn’t know much about Somalia, despite being Somali myself. I never saw Somali people being portrayed on screen and never learned about them in history class. This, paired with being the only Somali student in school, was why I never really felt the sense of pride that other people felt when it came to their ethnicity. My parents noticed this and thought it was essential for me to visit Somalia, leading to a trip during the summer of 2013, when I was 13 years old.
There are many medicines now that help control a variety of functions in the human body. With high blood pressure affecting many adults and children, there are many medications that can be given to control it. Captopril generic name for Capoten is an angiotensin I inhibitor. It is used to treat high blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels.
All in all, I have lost the last 5 weeks of hard work across multiple classes, and I truly feel this is uncalled for and am trying really hard to get the same teachers back, even if all my period chronological order has to be shifted as I don’t mind if I have friends in class or
