Nursing is a career all about assisting individuals by improving their health to avoid illnesses and injuries as well as treating them. There are multiples types of nurses such as the practical nurse, registered nurse, clinical nurse, and so forth. Another type of nurse that is not as well-known is the travel nurse. A travel nurse is typically sent to certain locations for a limited amount of time. This is a career I’m interested because it is the perfect combination of all I have ever wanted to do, which is help people and travel the world.
In order to obtain this career, one must first attend a nursing school and earn at least a bachelor’s degree as a registered nurse, which could take four to six years depending on the school and nursing

The career of an RN interests me because I think it’s not something that I would be bored with, and I’ll always be learning new things on the job. The duties and responsibilities are providing direct patient care, presenting health information to large groups of people, performing emergency procedures, managing many other nurses in teaching hospitals and doing research in universities. Perlis states, “While courage is hard to measure, it is directly proportional to your level of grit. More specifically, you ability to manage fear of failure is imperative and predictor of success.” (perlis 3). This quote to me says, the level of gritienst will determine how much fear you have of failure. For me i am pretty scared to fail but in reality that will push me to continue and be successful. Courage will not only help me obtain my degree but it will also help me in the field of
Do you dream of traveling around the United States, not only free of cost but also making money while doing it? While I already know that I want to be a nurse, travel nursing is a field that I have often considered because it brings two of my passions together: traveling and working as a registered nurse. Money is often a major factor in every decision we make, especially as college students, that’s why travel nursing is appealing to many students our age who dream of having money and wish they could travel more than just the annual family vacation. In today’s fast paced work environments, people who live in the United States are too busy to take the time to travel, unlike Japan where Company’s send families on vacations with all expenses paid. Many people get too caught up in work and their everyday life, while some simply cannot financially afford it, or jobs give very minimum days to take time off. A philosopher by the name of Saint Augustine once said “The world is a book and those who do not travel only see one page” On the other hand, there are many visions of different places I would like to travel too, but even myself will get caught up in work or find it rather difficult to get time off. In addition, that is why I want to join traveling with work and become a traveling nurse.

I have worked as a nurse’s aide for almost 9 years and no matter where you work, a facility, a hospital or at a patient’s private home. The unexpected can always happen, even when you days starts out smooth. Before I get my day started, I must mentally plan my tasks/duties for the shift because that way I can use my time sufficiently and my shift run as smooth as possible.
