In a small apartment building in New York City, Paul the llama had just awoken when he heard a loud banging at the front door. Paul opened the door and saw the small angry face of his landlord, Bob the french bulldog. Bob began to yell,“ Paul, if you don't pay your bills I will kick you out!” With that, Bob slammed the door on Paul and left. Paul had to think of a way to pay his bills, then it came to him, “ I need a roommate!”, Paul exclaimed. Paul spent the rest of the day making the perfect roommate flyers. The next day, Paul spent the morning hanging his flyers around the neighborhood. He then walked back to his apartment. When he got home, Paul had a visitor waiting outside his door. The visitor was a large muscular alligator, that most likely had plans to eat Paul. Paul may have noticed his visitor was going to eat him, if he hadn't been so desperate to find a roommate. Paul heard the alligator say he had a job that payed well, and before he could finish his sentence, Paul welcomed him to …show more content…
Meanwhile, down on the street below, there was a homeless llama that heard the screams and rushed up to the apartment to help. When he got there, he found a small helpless llama being attacked by an alligator three times his size. The homeless llama yelled, “I’ll save you!”, then without hesitation, he ran towards the alligator, grabbed him, and threw him out the window. The homeless llama was much stronger than he appeared. The two llamas introduced each other, and Paul thanked the homeless llama, who he had recently learned was named Carl. “Thanks for saving my life”, said Paul, “But now I don't have a roommate.” “Well I could be your roommate, my two unicorn friends recently kicked me out of our house.”,Carl replied. Paul and Carl then became roommates and best friends. Little did Paul know, he had just allowed a dangerous sociopath with a long history of violence into his
Imagine the President of the United States suffering from insanity. The thought of anyone in authority being mentally unstable may rattle some, but this scenario plays out in William Shakespeare’s tragedy Macbeth. The play describes how the title character uses violence to maintain power but gradually plummets into the abyss of mental illness. In Macbeth, Shakespeare asserts how power drives people to a descent into madness, as demonstrated by the title character and his wife experiencing guilt after committing murder to attain authority. Macbeth imagined the consequences of his actions in a terrifying vision, but performs the devious act afterwards and suffers immediate remorse. Another murder displays Macbeth’s progressive nosedive into
Can we come in please?” A Stevie responded by saying “No, you cannot come in. This shelter is reserved for only me and Lil Glory.” The giraffe said “Come on, we wanna see what you got bro.” The two is still refusing to let him visit the house. The giraffe keeps asking them to see the fort five more times. He and his friends got upset and they start to destroy the house using a pickaxe and their loot. “I hear heavy banging sounds surrounding the shelter.” Unfortunately, the giraffes have a long neck that makes the destruction very effective. Stevie and Lil Glory tried to rebuild their shelter, but they destroyed most of it very quickly. The two used what they have to destroy the savage giraffe but it was not effective. They got severely injured and ran to a nearby house. When they went to the house, they found a legendary pickaxe to destroy the giraffe. The two used it and the giraffe got injured and ran away to a different
He realizes just like his father and his mother he is using drug and alcohol to cope with his pain is slowly killing them. Paul still didn’t know if he wants to live or die so he flirts with the idea of death, but he stops himself at the last second.

Passage 1 Passage 1 is the first description, in the beginning, that readers get of Georgiana specifically, through Alymer’s eyes. It is also the first introduction to the themes of control and obsession that continue throughout the rest of the story. This passage establishes the dichotomy that forms between Georgiana’s beauty and Almer’s desire for complete and utter perfection. Alymer, to some extent, is set up to be a character that tries to play ‘God’ where, instead, he ends up being more akin to the ‘Devil’. Wherein, he destroys Georgiana in his quest to make her “perfect”.
