My company’s name is Sun Dry Fruits and it offers dehydrated organic fruits. In order to make my business into a franchising opportunity, I had to take into consideration these factors: demand, competition, investment, and training.

The signs and symptoms of a person that has diabetes is that they lose weight without even trying to. Increased thirst and frequent urination – excess sugar building up in your blood-stream causes fluid to be pulled from the tissues. This may leave a person thirsty, causing a person to drink and urinate more than usual. People with diabetes have an increased hunger. Without enough insulin to move sugar into the cells, the muscles and organs becomes depleted by energy. This triggers intense hunger. People have weight loss, without the ability to metabolise glucose, the body uses alternative fuels stored in muscle and fat. Calories are lost as excess

Drugs have the ability to alter the transmission of a neuron that causes a person to change their state of being. These drugs may have some medical uses that may treat diseases or elevate moods, however there are some drugs that are used recreationally that also elevate moods but do not offer any medical usage. For other living beings, they are used for self-defense against other predators and these chemicals that inject can also alter the state of mind and even death.

Looking back, it is clear now that hypnosis has been around for many centuries and the use of hypnotic states can be traced back to Shamans or Witch Doctors. What I have learned throughout units 11-21 is how to help motivate myself through positive self-talk. When it comes to self-talk, it helps to know that I need to focus on what is being said to me and change that to show positive reinforcement. What these units describe as positive self-talk is that I need to help the subconscious reaffirm that I am someone that is worthy of good thoughts, feelings, and actions.

This week I learned about philosophers from around the world: Wang Yangming, Kwasi Wiredu, and Voltaire. The most interesting part, in my opinion, was Wang’s philosophy of “unity of knowledge and action”.

Every company will focus on supplying a service, product, or both. How and where the product is made plays a crucial role in the company’s success. In order to help visualize how the products are made process maps are formatted. These process maps can help to identify areas that need improvement. In order to implement improvement, process development will be implemented. In a short film, the director uses a variety of techniques to draw in and keep the viewers intrigued. This is not limited to but includes the use of purpose, context, rhetorical appeals, and visual rhetoric. A film must have these techniques and apply them correctly so that they add to the meaning of the film. The short film, Strength, released in 2017 by Inanna Sarkis does a tremendous job of using emotional appeals and visual rhetoric to convey the message that young women need to stand up for themselves.

Everybody has a mountain to overcome and it's your choice whether you stay stuck in the valley or rise to the peak. An in my life I've had a mountain that not only I have overcome but, learned valuable lessons along the way. The crux of my struggle was the splitting of my parents which put me through some emotional instability. This, in hindsight, was the best for me as well as my parents but being young and selfish I seen it as my world splitting in half.
