Mission statements for any organization are today a foundation stone for defining its activities, attitudes and culture. Thus the mission statement influences the organization to a very great extent. Thus the mission statement shows the degree of internalization and the general principles of governance adopted by the institution, and its core values and responsibilities and the area of interest. (Yopp, 2008)
The mission defines the organization’s purpose, values, and core goals, providing the framework for all other plans. It is simple, vivid and compelling so that the employees from the janitor to the CEO, from the customers to investors can easily understand.
This federalist paper was written by James Madison most likely in 1788. In this letter he addresses the concerns of some that the Constitution will endanger the people by granting too much power to the federal government and usurping power from the states. In the first paragraph Madison asks many questions of the reader which all infer that his point is that the states will indeed lose some of their sovereignty, but it is necessary for the happiness of the citizens. He argues, essentially, that the federal government must be granted the actual capacity to do what it is every state wants it to do, such as protect them from foreign enemies. Madison assures the audience that the amount of power he is suggesting granting to a centralized government

The Mission Statement is a vital component in the strategic planning of a business organization. Creating a mission is one of the first actions an organization should take. Study in organizational culture began in the early 1980s. Organizational culture is “work group culture” and involves organization’s personality. Organizational culture includes shared philosophies, ideologies, beliefs, feelings, assumptions, expectations, attitudes, norms and values (Fred Lunenburg, Allan Ornstein, 2012, p. 55). Most organizational cultures include observed behavioral regularities, norms, dominant values, philosophy, rules, and feelings. Organizational cultures includes certain input such as the energy imported by organizations from the environment in the form of information, people, and materials (Fred Lunenburg, Allan Ornstein, 2012, p. 55). This input energy must guide organizational behavior toward shared goals and process. Organizations produce an output because of the input into the

The mission statement communicates to stakeholders the main activities that the company focuses on in order for it to achieve its vision. The mission statement communicates to employees’ information on how to conduct their day to day activities. The mission of a company is considered to be its purpose. Basically, it should include what you will provide, who you will serve and also highlight your key attributes that should distinguish your organization from your competitors. There are no specific rules to develop a mission statement, what really matters is that should be a reflection and a helpful synopsis of the organization as well as it should speak to your stakeholders. Some characteristics that makes a mission statement successful is when it is succinct and can be printed in the back of a business card, when it is memorable and unique. Lastly it ought to be realistic and current, for instance, the mission should be a description of the present and not the future as well as it can not change constantly, in this case, when the firm changes its priorities, it is necessary to think if the new directions will affect its mission.
This mission must take into account and balance the present with the uncertain future. It is an important administrative task for a manager’s mission to strive for the company’s full potential. As Drucker states, “What is the business’s theoretical optimum? What prevents us from attaining it? Where are the limiting and restraining factors that hold back the business and deprive it of the full return on its resources and efforts”? (32). Determining and adapting a productive mission requires a manager to be an entrepreneur, a risk taker, and an innovator. A good company mission is adaptable, and will allow the modern business to survive and perform in a new and unpredictable future.
The mission is to lead people. And the target is to make fruitful of the particular strengths and knowledge of every individual, while is linked with taking an organization into the future, finding opportunities that are coming at it faster and faster and
