I am currently under academic warning, recognized as a bachelor’s student rather than an honour. Including the 30 transfer credits received from Trent University, I have 84 credits completed + 3 credits partially completed from ADMS 3330 of which is currently in process this summer term 2015. If my failing grade for ADMS 2510 is not dropped the 90 credits will be completed with a GPA below 5.0. I do not want to graduate as a bachelor’s student rather my dream and goal is to graduate as honours completing 120 credits. It will not be difficult for me to achieve this goal next year, since the parental disorders I was fluctuating with has been resolved, in other words I am now living with one parent happily. With a relaxed mind I have made goals

I wanted to take a minute to send you a summary and timeline of the events that took place on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 where voice and data services were unavailable for approximately 1 hour.
A good friend of mine had recently moved into this house in May 2015, she told me in the first day that she and her boyfriend had stopped by the house to do a walk thru before moving their thing over.(The house sat empty for a year and a half before they moved in).
My age and gender: I am a male who just turned 15 in July 2015.
I would have to say that even though I would approach the assignment differently, I would, however, did the same in the fact that I would not have canceled my prior commitments because of the paper. I am a schedule fanatic, I have rarely ever in my life done something spontaneous, in other words I need list and get frustrated when my schedules are interfered with. So, I would have to keep my prior arrangements but find time in between to do the assignment. For example, on Friday when I got home I would have at least started working on the details in which I would write about. As we have learned in this course, I would have started my prewriting before I would have gone to the movies, and when I got back from the movies I would look over my
Before starting my day, I usually put on a earphone and press “shuffle play” on my Throwback playlist on my Spotify account. The most recent five songs that I have listened to before writing this assignment was You Rock My World - With intro by Michael Jackson, Baby, I’m Back by Baby Bash, Just The Two Of Us by Grover Washington, Charlene by Anthony Hamilton, and Show Me The Way by Earth Wind & Fire. Interestingly I have never heard these songs until last year because I was only exposed to music that was on the radio station such as 94.9 or 106.1 where newest and trending songs were played most often. Since three of those songs were produced in early 2000’s and the other two produced between the 1970s and 1980s, I was never able to come across
I made one other staff application before on a server called PowerCraft. I was fortunate enough (and lucky enough) to actually come through. The staff application format over at PowerCraft's website was similar to the format on this
2. Why did you write this piece? Even if the piece began with a prompt-- you took it from there --where did your inspiration come from?
2a. Habituation is when the response to a certain stimuli decrease when it becomes frequent. For example, when I first moved into my apartment I would always hear the train at nighttime and it would keep me up or wake me up when it would start passing by. After a month or so, my body stopped responding to the train blowing its horn when it would pass. It is an appropriate example because after I became habituated to the sound, I started getting more sleep and more sleep meant a restful night to recharge for the next day.
I face a number of unusual personal expenses that make it difficult for my family to contribute to the cost of my education. Unfortunately, I along with my two other siblings and mother have been diagnosed with a variety of autoimmune diseases. I have been diagnosed with Type One Juvenile Diabetes, my middle sister has been diagnosed Vitiligo, my youngest sister has a form of Uveitis, and my mother has been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. In order to treat our respective diseases we need to take the prescribed medications that are each very costly and do not have a generic brand available on the pharmaceutical market. The treatment of my, my siblings, and mother’s collective diseases is financially heavy on our family, and it makes it
This can mean for a teacher to learn where the student(s) is coming from and then do research on that area. By doing this, it will provide some basic background information into the child’s spoken language, culture and beliefs. After the teacher knows a little more about the child, they can then make adjustments to their assessments according to the child’s language, culture and beliefs. If the teacher is still unsure, I would ask another teacher who might have had a student from the same area.
By implementing this idea in Area Two schools to support special education students, we will create a more data driven approach to increasing student achievement. By following this idea the team will also do a better job of implementing professional development and mentorships that greatly increase teacher effectiveness. The idea will also increase understanding of the diversity of the schools and promote community involvement by establishing more open communication with the parents and the community to support their students’ needs. The leadership teams will work together to set goals and objectives to support achievement in all grade levels. They will develop a framework for good communication between teachers and leaders so there is
While sitting at my desk in a classroom overflowing with colorful decorations, my 1st grade classmates and I were taught how to add and subtract. At that moment, I had no idea that numbers would soon become one of the biggest factors in my life. Before I knew it, my journey as a number on a sheet of paper began. From third grade to my senior year of high school, I have been tested in every way, shape, and form and compared to kids all around the country. My test scores decided if I was able to move on to the next grade, what classes I took, and will soon factor into what college I will be attending. Those numbers have seemingly been the determinant in how successful I have been academically and how successful I am expected to be. Numbers even
I have always been the person people go to for answers. Since seventh grade I have been in honors classes; I was the only seventh grader in an eighth grade math class. I had never been so nervous walking in to class in my life. My legs were trembling and my hands were shaking. I walked around the room hoping to find a seat not in the back so I do not show my teacher I do not care; but not in the front so my classmates think I am a kiss up. I sat in between two boys, and tried to not let them see how intimidated I actually am by them.
As an Arab immigrant who was raised in the United States since he was seven years old, who lived in Michigan seeing Arabs everyday and never felt like he was in a foreign country; and moving to NYC in 2015, changed the whole style of my life. NYC the tremendous city that I couldn’t find the people that I knew and that I understood nor those that understands me because of our massive cultural differences, and believes. The biggest problem is when I started school in NYC. The school system was different because in NYC they had regents, also their credit requirements were different, for that I was behind in credits and didn’t know what was the regents. Also, I came to school almost at the end of the First marking period of the second semester of freshman year.
