2. Why did you write this piece? Even if the piece began with a prompt-- you took it from there --where did your inspiration come from? The reason I wrote this poem was because I’ve always heard people compliment how beautiful green, blue, or hazel eyes, but you never hear anyone that compliment someone with dark brown eyes that come across more black than anything. I always thought dark eyes gave someone more mystery to them. Their eyes didn’t darken blue when angry or lighten when happy. They were never embraced as what consider beautiful. Also I kept hearing people say they love someone with green or blue eyes which kinda upset me why dark eyes weren’t good enough. While I was on Instagram I noticed a poem that was complimenting colored

Melissa is driving through her neighborhood, talking on a cell phone. Because she is distracted, she missed the new stop sign that was put in at an intersection. A police officer sees this and promptly pulls her over. When asked why she didn’t stop at the stop sign, Melissa replies that she didn’t see the sign. Melissa most likely did see the sign, her brain just didn’t process it correctly.
First off, I have to say in my ENTIRE professional career, I've NEVER seen such a creatively powerful professional profile picture than what you are displaying! "HATS OFF TO YOU"
You are correct and I agree with you. My middle daughter who is going into her JR year, received a bad grade. She came home upset and questioning the grade her teacher gave her. I read the paper she wrote and read it again just to make sure I understand what was written. The teacher had a few footnotes that stated she was plagiarizing. I asked my daughter where did she retrieve her information and she stated the internet, I asked her did she just copy and paste and she said yes. I had to explain to her that when your copying and pasting from any source besides your own and your not submitting a reference it is plagiarism. Oh course she gave me the look as though I was speaking a foreign language.

Recently, a 15-year-old boy’s mom asked me to meet her son. I decided to use this case as this week’s project. This boy is a 10th grade, average B student. He doesn’t have much interest with clubs and sports but spends many hours playing video games. He knows he will go to college but has no clear direction about major. His mom worries and wants him to meet me. My goal for the meetings would be finding his interest area and choose possible majors for him. Hopefully he will have a clearer goal and being more focused.
Being able to compress indexes and dictionaries and yet still use them functionally is very worthwhile. Given my own experience with information retrieval and my understanding of how internet 4.0 is developing this type of function seems like a key feature to achieving a functional system. I’m looking forward to what we are doing with our own project going forward.
While preparing for this particular assignment I was able to examine and learn about FEAP standards, read chapter 1 of Integrating Educational Technology for Teaching and Take the Tech Survey to self-assess myself as a future educator. While completing the requirements of this week I learned the importance of technology regarding education. Even though I knew the importance I don’t think until completing the survey I really understood how much technology is integrated into the educational experience. While taking the survey I realized that there were different categories of technology within education. The fact that there were many different categories within this subject shocked me. When I first signed up to take this course I didn’t think
I was standing for 20 minutes “doing nothing” at Jay Gee’s , on a hot weather around 6:00pm on September 9, 2015. This is an ice cream place where families and kids go during the summer to play golfing, go cars, batting cages and an arcade. Families also go to eat ice cream and spend a good time with kids and family. As I was standing in front of kids and adults while they were trying to order ice cream or play, I saw people looking at me with an strange looks, like if I had four head, some people ignore me while others ask me if I was okay or ask me what I was doing and if I needed any help. Others where talking among others criticizing me by saying that I was crazy. Others pull their child away from me like if I was going to something
Base on data that my field placement teacher had already collected, I decided to review with the students over Perfect Verb Tense. This is one concept that a lot of the students had a problem grasping the first time and with the Georgia Milestones coming up, they needed some more practice. I know that most of my students are EIP students, so I picked a video to start with as a refresher and then went straight into a review game to keep the students interested in the lesson. Then from there, I picked activities that I knew the students could have fun with base on the interests of my students, activities I’ve seen them play with before, and base on what they are struggling with. For example, the foldable activity is a great activity for my EIP
I can remember that day, sitting in the auditorium with my daughter. It was her sixth grade orientation for middle school. We moved in the middle of her fifth grade year to the next town, which was only twenty minutes away. Siting and watching as parents came in with their children. Unfortunately, my husband was out of town on business and I was five months pregnant. I recognized several of the people as they sat with their families and groups of friends.
I met my best friend Briana Williams when I was eight years old, in the second grade at Flat Rock Elementary School. Ms. Wyatt our second grade teacher would always line us up next to each other because we were both about the same height. Before you knew it we began forming a friendship.
