Nikola Tesla a known Serbian American inventor who contributed to the development of electrical systems that are used today and also discovering the rotating magnetic field. His career of an inventor began at an early age; aged 26 Tesla produced a first sketch of the principles for a rotating magnetic field this achievement was and still is used within today’s electromechanical devices and was also believed to set the groundwork for his future inventions, this was also one of his most significant achievements. Nikola Tesla “The Genius that lit up the world” established Tesla electric light and manufacturing which he received funding for and a proposition by his investor to improve acr lighting this was successful but unfortunately tesla was forced out of the venture. Luckily by 1887 interest in his AC electrical system raised and funding was produced to start his new Tesla Electric company back up which become successful and filed a substantial amount of patents for AC based inventions.
Tesla’s luck was definitely in play as his AC system caught the eye of an American engineer and business man known as George Westinghouse who was looking for a solution to supply the nation with long distance power. Tesla showed his capability which achieved

When atoms have the same charge they repel against each other for example when taking a hat off you may notice your hair get static this is when your hair stand up on its own. Another type of Static electricity is when you receive an electric shock this can occur if you have nylon carpets and metal door handles at home, your body builds up and static charge which is then released when touching the metal handle giving a little
When Tesla was a young lad he was always thinking about the future as shown by Ronald H. Bailey, ‘“ Someday I’ll harness that power,”’ said Tesla when he saw a picture of Niagara Falls as a boy” (Bailey 6). Nikola Tesla was a brilliant innovative man from the time he was a boy, he was already thinking of his future as well as future technology. He thought of things even as a boy that had not been dreamed possible and are still functioning to this day. Nikola Tesla was an important and innovative
Nikola Tesla There are numerous minds that came before us. They changed the way we think and live our daily lives. One of them was Nikola Tesla, a legendary man who was a visionary, inventor, and lastly a talented engineer. He’s accolades has changed the world and made it a better place. Tesla’s imagination is far beyond then an average person. He envisioned things that could make the world a better a place. When Tesla was a young, he imagined harnessing the nature’s power (Harnessing Niagara,
Nikola Tesla Through an innovative and influential career, Nikola Tesla will be forever known as a technology pioneer. His contributions to society are known throughout the world, and we see his work all around us.Considering that, it helps people, including myself, identify with the magnitude of Tesla’s success when they learn how much of their daily lives are dependent on his strenuous hours of creative production. Even though he lived from 1856-1943 , his work has remained relevant as we continue
on how the world in the 20th century would be ran. Tesla was an inventor with many abstract thoughts, many of which that would not be able to be invented during his lifespan or even today. Nikola Tesla lived a life of struggle and many adversities. Many of Tesla’s discoveries and achievements were only recognized after his death. During his life, Tesla made important contributions to electrical powering and electrical transmission. Before Tesla made a platform for himself, the science field (especially
There have been many scientists throughout time that have made an enormous impact on the world such as Newton, Aristotle, Galileo, Einstein, and Nikola Tesla. These are just a few of the brightest minds ever to exist. Nikola Tesla was born on July 10, 1854 in Smiljan, Croatia, and spent his childhood there. His mother was the person that first got him interested in science because she invented small household tools in her spare time. Tesla’s father was a priest and did not approve of his passion
Nikola Tesla was born into a modest, Eastern European family, but had an interest in technology and inventing from an early age. Like many Europeans, he would move to America in search of greater opportunity and success. However, unlike most of his European counterparts, Tesla's achievements in electrical engineering would change the world forever. From electric motors to AC current to one of the hydroelectric dams in the world, his designs and inventions changed the way we live. While Nikola
Nikola Tesla, the ‘electrical wizard’ is entitled to worldwide study and praise due to his notable discoveries and his life changing inventions. His interests in mechanical study in exceptionally young ages was a huge factor in pursuing his future. Tesla’s two ssssssmain inventions, the tesla coil and the electric alternating currents are a huge asset in many homes and are used in everyday lives. This inventor and engineer has improved numerous inventions and never stopped or hesitated a second in
curiosity or by their great intellect, but perhaps none are as intriguing or interesting as Nikola Tesla. Fitting the stereotypical “mad scientist” persona, Tesla was one of history’s most important inventors and one of the most bizarre yet imaginative geniuses to ever exist. Born in 1856 in a town called Smiljan located in the then-Austro-Hungarian Empire to a priest and an inventor of household products, Tesla entered the world on peculiar circumstances: during a lightning storm. According to legend
Inventor Nikola Tesla’s invention of alternating current is one invention of the twentieth century that goes unnoticed. Not only is the invention of AC current overlooked but also the man behind everything as well. Nikola Tesla, a mastermind in science and mathematics, lived in the nineteenth century to twentieth century. He was ahead of his time and his inventions were beyond the culture of his day. Tesla is known for his scientific contributions and is honored for his work and ideas. His inspiration
Nikola Tesla, born in Smiljan, Croatia (then Austria-Hungary), in a Serbian family, on July 10, 1856. He was a physicist, mathematician, electrical engineer and famous inventor, who revolutionized the electrical theory by inventing and developing the alternating current. He died in New York, United States, on January 7, 1943. Nicola Tesla was one of the most brilliant minds in the history of mankind. However, the achievements of this inventor were overshadowed by his contemporary Thomas Edison and
Nikola Tesla was a brilliant visionary. He was a true genus who could picture how an invention would work in his mind and then create it. He held over 700 patents worldwide. Tesla’s achievements include transmission of energy, robotics, radar, electricity, and transmission of communication wirelessly. He experimented with many things that had not been used before, including x-rays, lightning, wireless electricity and laser beams. Tesla’s inventions were ahead of his time, changed the world and
electricity to every person desired it. Without question, Nikola Tesla was a genius. He could memorize entire books and recite them at will, spoke eight languages fluently, visualized and built devices in his mind without ever writing anything down. Tesla was not just an inventor, his contributions were revolutionary. While Tesla obtained an overall slightly crazy reputation, he was also commended on being an amiable citizen . Nikola Tesla made some rash decisions concerning pride, but still obtained
was invented by Thomas Edison, who was the most famous inventor in US history and the second was designed by Nikola Tesla, a genius scientist as well as a brilliant engineer. There are many tempting stories about their lives as long as conflicts with each other. However, differences of education, personality and inventions were the best-known. (Transitional Sentence) Although Edison and Tesla were all talent scientists, they were both educated in different ways. When Edison was in elementary school
became his greatest rival. Living a life of torment from his past coupled with insufficient funds, he overcame copious obstacles to fulfill his childhood dream. Nikola Tesla laid the foundations for modern society with the creation of numerous inventions, as well as wireless transmission and Alternating Current power distribution. Nikola Tesla, father of the electrical age, revolutionized the world with his inventions
Nikola Tesla deserves a spot in history because he has had so many inventions and innovations that have shaped our world today. Nikola Tesla made new innovations from mastering the alternating current to basically inventing the radio. Tesla was a nobody but had a belief and stuck with it, and ended up becoming well known for his contributions. Tesla has had such a good impact on the world and people still use some of his original ideas today. MOTIVATION Tesla had many reason to be motivated but the
