31st Dec 2013 08:30PM It was 08:30pm and I was sitting in my office, enjoying the last day of this year. I was happy, my friends,my colleagues, my seniors everyone was happy because we were about to leave for the biggest party of the year. Every year our company organizes this biggest party and in this party they announces the best employee of the year. I was also in the list of nominees of the best employee and some of my seniors told me that in this year I will get this award. I was very very excited.
But there was a little problem. My love my angel my sweetheart my wife pari, she was waiting for me at home. She was thinking that I will come home today and we both will celebrate new year together because last year I did the same thing, I was in party and she was alone at home and when I called her to wish her happy new year, she didn’t respond to me and was angry too. So this time I had already set some plans to celebrate new year with my love. But when my seniors told me that I am in nominees list and my chances of getting this award is high, I was like oh no, this time again my sweetheart will be alone at home. My presence at the party was also important. So I decided to call her.
Me: Hello baby, how are you, whats going on... She: Nothing you tell me when you are coming. Me: You know there is a party tonight. She: I know that, every year you had a party Me: Listen what I am trying to say is that maybe I will get the award. She: So..? Me: So my presence at the party is
Many families during the month of December are busy shopping for Christmas presents, decorating a Christmas tree, and getting ready for Santa Clause. For those families celebrating Hanukkah this can conclude of preparing Latkes, singing Ma’Oz Tzur, and lighting the candles of the Menorah.
On December third, I got ready to come to United State. My bags were in order and my passport with me. The time did not run that was not a piece of cake to me since I wanted to see my family. I went to the airport and I waited five hours on it. When I arrived to Washington D.C, I was enthusiastic. My family was waited me at the airport. When I saw my family, I ran to them and I hug them. It was amazing feelings. My family and I were happy because we finally were together. My father was registration me on VCU. Now I am studying English Language Program after that I will complete my degree to biomedical engineering. I have the best teachers in the world teach my English. This is the last semester in English that will be difficult for me since
The time finally arrived and I was nervously walked up on stage when the winners of my event were announced. My hard work and commitment paid off when I was awarded third place for my speech. After weeks of writing my speech and practicing it in front of my bathroom mirror, I was given a plaque for placing third. For the rest of the day. I reflected on just how far I had come since the beginning of high school.
I had my moment of achievement of a milestone when I received this great news I felt that all my hard work up to this point has paid off. And it is now my time to shine and over time gain respect in this placement, and become a respected medical professional in the Oakville Hospital by staff and the Oakville Community. I hope this shows my level of focus and maturity, that I have to my future career goals. Along with the ability to give back to the
I have met amazing people that have impacted my life in wonderful ways. I am involved in this community and realize that change isn’t bad, it’s only for the better good. As an effect to the transition from the city, I did not comprehend to my fullest capabilities and slacked off my schoolwork. It took a great amount of determination to turn that around and since then, I have found what I can accomplish and, endure in them more greatly. I have struggled and managed to maintain my abilities in school and in my community. As we all know, nothing is given as a present, and only shall be given if we earn it.
The next biggest incident that occurred between the families was the New years Eve Massacre. This resulted in the death of Roseanne, Airfare and Calvin McCoy and the burning of Ole Randall McCoy’s home. In an effort to end the commotion once and for all, a group of the Hatfields and their supporters hatched a plan to attack Randolph McCoy and his family. Led by Devil Anse’s son Cap and ally Jim Vance, a group of Hatfield men ambushed the McCoys’ home in 1888. New Years eve Night of 1888, was the night the revengeful group acted out their plan. They surrounded Ole Randall McCoy’s house and set it ablaze. At the time the family was asleep so not many made it out. Randall McCoy was fortunate to escape, with a few damaging burns, but sadly
REPORTER: The reporter/ mother (Brenda) called with concerns for the victims, Timothy and Jaden. According to the reporter, on New Years Night, the children went with their father for the weekend. The reporter said the children told her Tim (father) had to work, and she told them to let her know if they were going to be home alone. Tim picked the children up from the reporter’s sister’s home and transported them to a gas station. Tim’s girlfriend (Tracey) picked the children up. The reporter said Tracey “allowed the 14 year old to drive from the father’s home to her home”, while she was in the vehicle. When they arrived to her home, Tracey’s children were home alone unsupervised (a report will be sent to Walthall County regarding the children).
My whole family and friends were there. During all the night we tried to ignore the reason of the party and had a great time dancing, talking and playing games. Unfortunately, everything has an end, and my incredible last night with everyone I loved concluded. Every goodbye was accompanied with a tear and long-lasting hug. The very next day we finished packing our things and went to the airport. My grandmother, two aunts and my two best friends came along with us. Of course we cried all the way to the airport and could not even speak about it. Without much to say and with tears pouring down my face, I said goodbye to everyone. My grandmother delicately hugged me and told me ``everything is going to be alright, you must trust your parents and know that this is for your own
She prepared delicious dishes and invited a great DJ to put animation. I wore a wonderful light blue dress and I put on a nice pair of black shoes. I was very beautiful. At 5pm, people started coming in the party. They enjoyed the aroma of the dishes. They danced Haitian music and told memorable story about me. At 9.00 pm, I invited them to eat and drink. Everyone was so happy and said how a good friend I was for them. My relatives and friend left my house at about 11:30 pm. I accomplished the second part, it was time to sleep and prepared to get to the
It was in that moment, after seeing the faces of those family members and patients that I managed to save, that I got the most gratifying experience in my career. Thanks to my hard work and commitment, I was chosen as one of the chiefs of the internship year by our internship coordinator and voted in favor by my
In the beginning of October 2015, “Senior Superlatives” were voted on by the entire senior class. I won “Best Personality” and could not be more appreciative.
The night of graduation we all lined up the same way we did at practice, ABC order, as I walked out I felt so rewarded that I was able to make it to my high school graduation. We all sat in a huge gym surrounded by our loves ones, Black and gold caps and gowns filled the room. I waited anxiously for my name to be called; with my last name starting with a W I was pretty much at the end. I walked up and across the stage, shook their hand as I received my diploma and smiled for a picture. As I walked back to my seat I feel my eyes start to water because I felt so proud of myself that I made it to this point after years of hard work. I look around once I’m seated and see how happy everyone is. Next year everyone will be going their separate ways, starting college and making new friends. The ceremony ends with a bunch of smiles, some tears and caps being thrown up in the air while everyone is clapping for
My house is crowded with my relatives and friends; my friends and family are here me to wish me good luck and safe journey. My heart is full of mixed emotions. I am scared and sad but excited and happy at the same time as it is my last day at my house and in my country. Tonight is my flight to America. I’m moving to America, to be with my husband and to start a new journey of my life. I remember everything from my last day in Pakistan. I have never been way from my house before. I have always been surrounded by my friends and cousins. My friends have always been with me in my good and bad times and I cannot imagine a day without them. I never thought of leaving them. I didn’t realize how my life would change because of a ‘yes’. My childhood friend Sadiq, who moved to America ten years ago, asked me to marry him. Everyone in my family liked him so without thinking of anything else I said yes to him and we got married in a year, when he visited Pakistan. We were really excited to spend our lives together. What I didn’t realize until the moment I was at the airport that I am going to a new country, where I don’t know anyone other than my husband. I’m leaving all my family and friends here in Pakistan. I didn’t know how to react anymore now, I was sad and crying as I entered airport but I also felt happy inside my heart. When I was at the airport with my family, my grandma kept saying to me, “you have to call us at least three times a day when you get there.” My mom said, “Take
Attaining a bronze Duke of Edinburgh award has been a great achievement. It was necessary to co-operate and delegate with the team to reach set goals. It was a very challenging experience, which I was determined to conquer. Receiving the highest achiever award for ICT has been a great personal success. It illustrates the dedication and resilience I have for my work.
The enclosed report contains my analysis of the Salmonella poisoning issue in the recent lot of seafood-stuffed pasta shells. Based on the potential risk to human life, minimization of financial losses and preservation of Mike’s reputation, I recommend that you initiate a recall of the entire lot of pasta
