I am writing to give Ned Linch my highest recommendation for admission to The Graduate School at Auburn. I have known Ned for over 20 years and I flew F-16s with him in the Alabama Air National Guard to include combat over Iraq. He has always exceeded my expectation with his performance and attitude. He is a selfless and above and beyond performer who works well with others to accomplish the team’s goal. I’ve personally flown with him in both the military and in our civilian jobs at Delta. I can attest to his outstanding character and ability to work with others especially in high pressure situations. Ned’s hard work and dedication is evidenced by his sterling academic and flying record in the USAF and at Delta Air Lines. He has been a distinguished graduate of every formal Air Force flying school he attended. He has been an instructor in the F-16, as well as the Chief of Flying Safety where he focused on human factors to reduce mishaps. Ned has lead combat missions over Iraq with success and is a highly competent, mature, and professional aviator. He is also a well published author on various safety topics to include human factors, pilot error, and fatigue. I have never met anyone who can focus their energy toward a goal like Ned Linch. …show more content…
First, I enrolled for a 2nd Undergraduate degree in search of answers to meet the needs of my late mother-in-law; however, I also discovered a new passion, kinesiology. Now, I want to take this motivation to a higher level by switching my pursuit to a Master of Exercise Science with the option to continue further toward an outcome goal of a Ph.D. in Kinesiology. I am fully funded through the Post-911 GI Bill earned after being activated for Operation Iraqi
His team was the only team available that was fully trained and was always ready to go out and accomplish the mission. He was an example of the Mission First, can-do attitude by sacrificing his leave to help others when the Battalion needed a full honors team during block leave.
Captain Steven Tamborelli contributed significantly to United States Army Aviation throughout his aviation career, he deployed to Afghanistan for OEF 13-14, and has excelled in every position he has held. He is a consummate mentor for officers, warrant officers and enlisted Soldiers. He is a consistent and competent source of advice for superiors. His outstanding performance reflects greatly upon the Warrant Officer Corps and United States Army Aviation.
He is very inspiring and is a role model for others. He inspires Gene to train for the Olympics and, although there were consequences, climb up to the tree branch and jump off. He also inspires all of the other kids in different ways. He is just a very confident and inspiring kind of person and it shows. He seems like someone that you would want to hang around with. There is however just like everyone else, a negative
Good Morning, it is with great pleasure that I write this letter of support for Orion Edwards in his application for the University of Guelph McKendry-Baker Memorial Scholarship.
On September 6, 2015, Lieutenant Calvin Spann died at his home in McKinney, Texas, where he lived to be close to his daughter, Dr. Carla Spann. Lieutenant Spann’s obituary detailed his accomplishments as a fighter pilot, including flying in 26 combat missions. Also mentioned was Lieutenant Spann’s encouragement for young people to value an education. I remember when Lieutenant Spann told those in the library audience, including myself, how important education was and not to take it lightly. His words inspired me to do well in school, especially math and
Edward Vernon Rickenbacker, more commonly known as “Eddie”, was the third of eight children, born to William and Elizabeth Rickenbacker in Columbus, Ohio on October 8, 1890. Just as most adolescent boys, he went through a defiant stage. As a child, he was quite the delinquent, for he began smoking at the age of 5 and often spent time with a group of ornery kids called the “Horsehead Gang.” He was quickly whipped into shape by his father, however, who tragically died at a construction site in 1904. Due to the absence of his father and the toll it took on his family, Rickenbacker quit school at age 12 and brought it upon himself to assume the position as the provider for his family. His longing for aviation did not start at this time, but during World War I. Even so, he made his impact on history during the 20th century through his many successes in aerial warfare.
I have spent the greater part of my life dedicated to service. Therefore, upon leaving college I decided to do an AmeriCorps year of service and then decided to pursue my MSW at BU. However, with my MSW came financial burdens that I could not take on with my meager saving from my year of service, much which was used to relocate to the Boston area, and my Segal Award, which was not matched by the school. I have no outside financial resources an am support myself through working part-time. I will be unable to work as much due to the demands of advance year placement.

I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Samuel Okpechi. It is my understanding that he is applying for a 2016 UNCF Achievement Capstone Scholarship.
I am writing this letter to respectfully ask for your support in helping me become one of the many distinguished cadets at the United States Military Academy. I have achieved so much in my 16 years of life and being appointed into the academy will be very well-deserving and forthcoming to all the amazing opportunities that the academy has to offer. I have worked tremendously hard to obtain a 4.0 gpa and maintain a class rank in the top 100 of my 1000 person class. With your help I can hopefully be appointed as a West Point candidate for the class of 2022.
It is my desire, to finish my bachelors of applied science in health care administration degree, this December to graduate in the Fall semester ceremony. To be successful in this endeavor, I must complete the following classes: MAN4504 Operational Decision Making and MAN4940 Management this summer. After completing 30 credit hours over the 2017 Fall and Spring semesters, my financial aid funds have become depleted. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA for all 30 credits and my overall GPA is a 3.40.
I am writing this letter in the regards of Luke Wiesboeck. We have been close friends for 3 years, through different student organizations at Missouri State University. I have acted like as a mentor to Luke during this friendship. I am very proud of Luke’s progression as a leader.
I am writing this letter of recommendation for the Graduate Student Teaching Assistant Award to recognize my CHM 256 T.A. Haitham Kalil. I've only known him for about 4 weeks, and he has already shown the utmost respect and concern for his students since the first day of class. He is very aware of his responsibilities as an instructor and is understanding towards certain situations as well as give his full attention to his students to help succeed in the class. As a second year student my experience with college professors and instructors are limited but during my attendance at Cleveland State University I can distinguish the instructors that want the best for their students. As the engaged learning experience in Cleveland state represents
To be an airline pilot is most of the time described in terms of duties, job requirements, proficiency, training, employment opportunity, and good salary. These features picture a plain profile that fit into the specification of just an ordinary career. However, an aviation career comes with many challenges than expected. When focusing on statistics about being a pilot, it indicates a lifestyle that many inspire to work despite the many challenges that face this career. The challenges that pilot face revolve around being rested during long flights, performing unexpected, simultaneous tasks, and passing the medical examination in order to remain qualified. When combined with fatigue due to long flight hours, these different aspects can
