Receiving the letter of candidacy for this prestigious society is now giving me the opportunity to express myself in different ways. By becoming a member of the National Honor Society I will Throughout my four years at West Warwick High School, I was able to partake in a multitude of activities both in and outside of school. A prime example of activities I engaged in are co-curricular activities in school- such as, social committee, student council, yearbook, Best Buddies, and the Leadership circle- where I was able to work with a group of diversified people who all could bring different ideas and thoughts to the group. Moreover, by working with people who ultimately have divergent ideas and personalities has certainly helped change and prepare

Summary: As a High school graduate, I am looking for a job where I can use some of my experience from taking care of horses for two years, serving in NHS, and being organized focused and clean. Feeding horses includes carrying square bales, 50-pound feed bags, and water buckets. I have had ample experience keeping the barn straightened, and I am very capable of manual labor. Though most of what I do is manual labor, I still have great people skills. I have ample experience dealing with people in numerous positions. As a member of National Honor Society, I am required to do a certain amount of community service. This includes dealing with peers in the community and serving with the heart of Christ, but it also includes working with the sponsor
I am extremely honored to be selected as an eligible candidate for National Honor Society (NHS), which is based on four pillars of Scholarship, Leadership, Service and Character. When I was 11 years old, I saw my older brother walk across the stage to receive his NHS award. Ever since then, my ultimately goal is to follow his step and accomplish all the requirement while being a great leader and a respectful character by providing useful service. I believe NHS has done terrific things in the society by hard work and dedication therefore, I hope to play a part in providing great service to society. I hope to confirm their belief in my qualifications by addressing NHS values of academic excellence, leadership, service, and character.
I believe I would be a valuable member of the National Junior Honor Society because I meet many of the four pillars, scholarship, service, leadership, and character, which NJHS represents. I partake in many after extra-curricular activities such as, rec soccer, rec cheer leading, TAG, the middle school musical, district band, after school volunteering, and in the student government; service. For leadership I am in the student government for my class. My grades have never been lower than honors, and the previous marking period and this marking period I have retained high honors. I believe that I am a well-rounded person and very encouraging and helpful
I have always found being inducted into National Honor Society (NHS) as great privilege. NHS requires certain qualities to be withheld by the members, and the organization is based on four core elements: character, scholarship, leadership, and service. In order to be inducted, an individual must demonstrate each of these attributes and must continue to exhibit these qualities after induction. This organization has kept me involved with my school and community and has also made me a better person.
The National Honor Society is a group whose members are known for their academic accomplishments, leadership, and integrity. This group is greatly prestigious and I am honored to be invited to apply. This group also contributes a great deal towards the community, which is something that I am interested in doing more of. Until now, I have not gone out of my way to do much service and being in this group, I would have a higher motivation to do so. I would like to experience more giving to the community because whenever I have helped others, I felt satisfactory and valuable afterward. This society would be an excellent opportunity to be a bigger part of the community.
After being inducted into National Honor Society my junior year, I have been working with children at Matoaca Elementary School on a weekly basis to gain the community service hours the honor society requires. I work alongside the computer teacher to assist in helping kindergarteners learn how to use a computer. Many of these children had never used a mouse or a keyboard, and some didn't know all of their numbers and letters. The progress they have made since September has made me very proud of them, and the educational activities they do on the computer has helped them improve their math and reading skills. Before I started to volunteer there, I had never been exposed to an environment where I was to fill the role of an educator and role model
Nomination as a candidate for National Honor Society enraptured me as this allows me to demonstrate the multitude of ways that I strive to become an honorable and positive member of society. With the support of my family and a personal goal for relentless advancement since a young age I have shown maturity by participating and discovering ways to improve my impact on the community and the people around me. With modesty I exhibit the required qualities that Dr. Edward Rynearson necessitated for a member of the National Honor Society, possessing definite attributes for leadership, service, character and scholarship. Foremost my hard work and determination have granted me scholastic achievements that evidently meet the prerequisites for National Honor Society.
National Honor Society plans to throw a football jersey fundraiser in order to prepare for the upcoming induction ceremony. This decision has lead to many misunderstandings throughout the Pella High School student body.
The function of an organization such as National Honor Society is to train the youth of today on how to be the leaders of tomorrow. I believe that the best way for anyone to learn is by example, and to serve others. National Honor Society is an organization based on leadership. Whether a leader in a family, a business, a school, or even a public service position, the best way to lead, is to be an example to others. I believe that serving others is one of the most important and lacking parts of society and the world that we live in today.
Scholarship, leadership, character, and service; also known as the four pillars to the National Honor Society. I believe that I have the necessary qualities that would help strengthen these pillars if given a membership. The National Honor Society helps our community through its volunteer work and its other beneficial activities. Being a part of this organization would let myself become part of the impact that it is leaving, and better myself as a person.
National Junior Honor Society will be a great opportunity for me. If I am accepted into NJHS I plan on keeping up my 4.0 average, balancing between school and outside of school activities, continuing to help my community/peers, and creating a specific idea to make a positive impact at the school. The next 3 paragraphs I will be stating why I will be a great member of NJHS, why it's good to help people, and something I could do to positively impact my school.
I am truly humbled and honored to be selected amongst the top students in my graduating class and I am excited to be given the opportunity to represent Gateway High School in our chapter of National Honor Society. I firmly believe that I posses traits that fulfill the pillars of NHS: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character. Scholarship in my eyes is the ability to excel at high level educational studies. As a student, I strive for excellence in every way I can. I have taken a variety of AP and Honors classes during my time in high school, and I am proud to say that I have found myself on High Honor Roll on each report card I have received. I have been able to maintain a 3.85 GPA through two and a half years of school. Aside from school,
