It was a sunny day here in New Jersey, I was getting ready to go see the Twin towers memorial the next day."Julie! Come down here please we need to talk!"said my mother.
ALEX was told by his mother to get in the home and she began screaming at him and/or other children in the home with the back glass door completely open at an excessivly loud level which could be heard several homes away. She never returned back outside to speak with officers as we remained on scene for approximately an additional ten minutes or more while we spoke with MURPHY and her two
After analyzing the 9/11 Commission report is it clear that there were multiple structural shortcomings on behalf of the Federal Bureau of investigations(FBI) that may have contributed to their inability to stop the 9/11 attacks. Additionally, there was lack of oversight on the FBI by the Executive and Legislative Branches.
Chris murry 3rd and hes team of navys on may 5 2009 we was sent to pakanstan to kill osama ben liden. I came to the army because of 9/11. I wanted to be the one to take the leader of 9/11 down. So from 2002 to 2009 i was training. But that year i knew we was going to catch him. We was getting the helacoter ready for the mission and my sargent gave me two other people to go with me. We was on our way to pakastan. The helacoter put us 10 miles from the hide out. So we walked for 10 miles and there it was the hide out. There was a big wall and it was quiet. We clamed over the wall and was attacked. We hide behinde this big rock. And while my partners was distrating them i ran behind the hideout and clamed in the north windeo. Then i started to
Claire Alistar shifts in her seat to cross her right ankle primly over her left and readjusts her large, black sunglasses so that they sit farther down on her nose so that she looks even more unimpressed. "Beck got caught during a job in cicily? Really? Cicily?"
September 11, 2001 is the day four planes were hijacked and three crashed into important buildings, while the last crashed into a field. And today all the grief, devastation, great sacrifice, and total annihilation will be remembered throughout time as 9/11. To tell you everything would take forever, so instead I will tell you how my mother saw it. It was on a day we all know as 9/11, there was a house on Quimby Way in Sacramento, California. And in this house, my mother was going throughout her day as usual, which most likely involved laundry, dishes, and watching two children by the name of Alanna and Christopher, when she saw the news. “Is this really happening? This can’t be true! Was it an accident? Oh my god, both towers! What would ever make someone do that? This is terrible, why is it even happening in the first place? Why? Why?
Critics in the favor of keeping the wall have mainly focused on privacy grounds but have not paid serious attention to the impact the Wall might have on the national security. Despite strong evidence from the 9/11 report that the wall has contributed to the intelligence failure that resulted in the 9/11 attacks. The need to remove the wall is crucial to the public safety. The 9/11 report suggested that since the criminal investigators were not aware of the status or the content of intelligence investigations, they did not know what significance to attach to the targets of criminal investigations. To illustrate the fact, the report pointed out the following: Two of the September 11 hijackers resided with an FBI informant. However, the FBI’s law enforcement personnel were not aware of the
Suena was walking home and she felt like she was being followed, but she thought it was because of the horror movie she watched the night before. It was about a twenty minute walk for Surena to get home and she often enjoyed but that day she didn’t enjoy it. When she got home there was a note on her fridge from her mother saying she’ll be back in a couple of hours and that there was leftovers in the fridge. She still had that icky feeling that someone was watching her, she kept saying in her head that it was just the horror movie scaring her. Her dog Belle was eating the couch again, when her mom got home she’d be mad. Surena went up stairs to her bedroom and forgot to lock the door that day, when her mother warned her many times before to
I was sitting in the restroom when the supervisor came on the speaker, announcing that we would be getting off of work early, and for us to report to the break room. So several colleagues and I started heading to the break room. As we walked in, supervisors with alarmed and terrified faces desperately pointed us to the tables. Folks were muttering, crying, and screaming. I sat down at one of the lengthy, and smooth brown tables. I was waiting anxiously to hear what was happening. I looked and saw horrible white walls and lots of folks. As more colleagues came in the huge breakroom, supervisors and managers were walking around, with disturbed faces, and some had dried up tears running down their faces. I, as many others, looked confused, colleague to colleague, pondering what in the world was
Nothing I did worked. His skin, so close, so warm against my own, did it distract me? Was that it? I had done my best to free myself from the darkness he had encompassed around me, but my efforts did next to nothing in getting him away. He evaded it all. I was floundering amidst my own failure, but he was still there, still overshadowing me.
"This is 911, what is your emergency?" A desperate eleven year old girl tried to answer the operator's question, but all I could manage were sobs.
A family of four were living on the second floor of a building in Leeward. During a normal Saturday night, the father and daughter who was just 14 years old went to a party. The mother and baby were left alone in the apartment. As the mother was in the yellow tile kitchen with a spoon in her hand and the small baby in the large white bed, there was a loud hysterical scream in the air. The mom jumped up and rushed towards the square shaped window. As she looked out the window there was a domino effect of people turning on their dull yellow light bulbs. The sound of a wailing siren was heard throughout the neighborhood as an ambulance and police cars came rushing over to the crime scene. She wored her slippers on and carried the child outside in the chilling cold night. She saw everything: red and blue lights being shined through the cars. The two lifeless bodies on the hard black road, a man and a woman. Police officers were scattered all over the street with yellow tape in their hands that read “Do not cross”. The yellow tape was put all around the neighborhood, not letting anyone in or
Jean the attack on the Pentagon and the World Trade Center did not happen on September 1, 2011, rather it was September 11, 2001. I clearly remember the day as I was able to see the smoke filled sky from my windows in New York City. Our televisions and radios were not working so most of us did not know what was going on. My husband was late for work because he was waiting for his brother; so they were both late which saved their lives as the train station they were supposed to get off on blew up at the time they were supposed to get there. He made it almost all the way to work when the trains stopped running and he had to walk for hours back home he called me crying as he saw people’s limbs, hands feet with shoes all over the street. Also
When 9/11/2001 occurred I was sitting in the lunch room at Good Year Elementary School in Brunswick Georgia eating lunch. My classmates and I was talking normally like we always did until one of the lunch monitors told us to be quiet. I didn’t know exactly what was going on at the time. I just knew something serious had just happened. One of my teachers told the class that a plane had hit the Twin Towers. The teachers then turn on the television as all of us watch not exactly understanding what had happen or what the cause of it was. I remember some of the teacher crying while others got on their cells phones trying to contract their families in New York City, but the lines was so busy. That whole day I remember just sitting in class watching
The morning of 9/11 I wasn’t going to go to work because I had an allergy appointment,
