Great question Amanda about the what results would we see nationwide if all states chose to incorporate the Common Core Standards? To look at the big picture of the Common Core State Standards Initiavtive, the purpose is to create a standard set for all students in the United States. When talking about the Common Core State Standards and how they affect students and educators we must remember where this argument started from. In the 21st century of learning Barth (2004) reminds us that "we are not just preparting workers, we are preparing citizens. It is our interest ,then, as much our responisbility to make sure that all our young people are prepared for the furture."

Joseph is a redshirt senior who has appeared in 41 games for UConn, while registering 260 total tackles and 11.5 tackles for loss. Joseph is the leader of the defense and is responsible for lining of the linemen and linebackers. Joseph is active in run defense and has the ability to cover some tight ends and slower running backs. Joseph does not posses elite athleticism, which has turned into an essential trait for inside linebackers to succeed in the NFL today. In most high schools they've gotten back good reports using career and technical education. Business industry see it as a focus on preparing students for work. Educators say CTE is an alternative path for high school graduates who don't plan to go to college. Every year it’s a struggle to keep these kids interested in school work because it’s so much bad influence going on around them. So that’s why CTE decided to embarrass these students into a different type of learning skills.

Many other states have developed laws that protect individuals' religious freedoms, yet Indiana's law has more of a controversial front to its recent legislation. This action is to help court cases to decide whether a business owner was discriminating towards a customer or simply complying with the first amendment. Most have argued that this legislation discriminates towards sexuality; whereas, others believe they would be practicing their religious rights. Government and religion have crossed paths before, but this new bill overpasses a boundary that appeals intolerable. Furthermore, the causes of the new Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) is causing an uproar due to it's discriminatory presence and the future of this country's well-being

Because of this funding, more women are being recognized as victims and have equal access to help regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation and immigration status. The FCAT (Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test) which is a statewide standardized test for the state of Florida schools, is a test that you must pass in order to graduate and so that you would not have an intensive class. You start taking the FCAT in the 3rd grade. In the tenth grade, once you pass the reading FCAT, you don’t have to take it in your junior and senior year. I sat in this bland testing room impatiently waiting for our proctor to tell us to start, thinking to myself, I have to pass this test so I won’t have to take it anymore. Not knowing that I would be setting myself up for failure by pressuring myself, I took the test. Once I completed the test, I felt that I did not do my best, but I continued with hopes that I did. The scary thing was I would not know my results until the summer before school start back for my junior year.

According to the Communication Decency Act of 1996 the CDA prohibits the users from using the internet that provides obscene, offensive material. It restricted the minors, individuals under 18 years of age. The CDA consider use of such salacious material to be taken as crime if made available to the minors. But the CDA was found to be unconstitutional and too broad because it violated the first amendment, according to the Supreme Court the communication decency act was not limited to a commercial speech or entity rather it was a prohibition on whole group.
