My initial reactions to the results of both tests were that both were a fair an accurate description of my management and leadership style and of my personality type. The results were consistent with results of taking the Meyers-Briggs several times in the past. In the past when taking this test I go between Sensing and Intuition. I believe they were mostly accurate, especially the Meyers-Briggs type Indicator. I have always bene more quiet and reserved naturally. Others that do not know me do tend to see me as somewhat distant and aloof. I have learned to cope with this and took positive steps to combat this tendency. Before becoming a police officer, I took a job as a salesperson because I knew I would have to learn how to talk to people. While still naturally quiet and reserved, I can switch to more of an extrovert when the need arises. After researching further the traits of an ISTJ I found the decryptions to be very accurate. I have always had a strong sense of right and wrong, which led me to this career. I did think I would have been somewhat higher on the thinking scale.
