My personal long term goal is to become a risk-taker. Becoming a risk-taker will help me try new things in life whether I succeed or fail. The main obstacle for becoming a risk taker is fear of failure. This fear always stops me from doing the things that will help me accomplish my goals in life. For example I don’t have my license because I’m afraid of failing. I’m afraid of …show more content…
Which are ultrasounds or sonograms on woman who are pregnant. This goal is important to be because this job is something I truly desire and passionate about. I value life and value happiness. This goal relates to my true colors - being the color blue, my strength quest - empathy, and also my personality assessment- feeler. As a feeler I think that compassion and empathy is what’s most important. In order to have this job you need to care for other and be personable, also be able to work with many emotions. An obstacle for having this job might be not being prepared emotionally prepared. It’s a pleasure of witnessing the joy on the parents face when they see their baby on the screen or even hear their little ones heart beat is priceless. But not every day is a good day. Having to tell a new to be mother that their unborn child didn’t make it is not something I even want to come across but it will happen. As the Sonographer I have to calm them down and explain the situation, no matter how tragic it can be. A solution for this obstacle is to do an intern so I can experience and get use to the environment and all the emotions that all the obstetric sonographers go through every day. This will help me prepare myself for these tragic emotions, so when I accomplish my goal and am I obstetric Sonography technician I will be emotionally prepared and get handled the right
I want to be part of the Ultrasound program because I realized that where I’m from people don’t consider going into a major like this. I was raised to become a doctor or a nurse it was either of those or your family will be disappointed. I looked at how many doctors and nurses my community has but rarely any ultrasound technicians. I also like to travel to different parts of the world and I would love to have those skills as a ultrasound technician to help those women who are unable to afford to go to a clinic to see if their baby is in good condition. A woman should never have to choose between making a decision about losing her kid, I want to be able to help those women that are struggling daily whether their baby has a health condition or even letting the parents know their baby gender.
My goal is that my education will prepare me to become a serviceable member of society by using my abilities in order to help lead the improvement of the community. This is my goal because I personally fill that as humans we should try to use our lives to make society a better place than when we arrived.
Contrary to what many know and believe about ultrasound, sonography is not only about the happy and exciting moments of revealing to expecting mothers the gender of their baby. Sonography is a field that requires lifelong learning, commitment, and dedication. It is a challenging and fulfilling career, involving critical thinking and using knowledge of anatomy and instrumentation to produce proper images, thus making the sonographer an important part of the medical team. What draws me to pursuing a career in sonography is its intriguing combination of science, technology, and art. Applying expert use of technological equipment to interpret how the body works using scientific knowledge makes sonography
I have goals in my life, just as the great Odysseus had his own goals; Odysseus wanted to return home and slay all of the parasitic suitors, living off his fortune. My goals, on the other hand, are not so gory or dangerous, but it is also tiresome to achieve my altitudinous goals. I want to go to a nationally ranked college in business after I graduate, that is why I am
My goals include finishing high school, then moving on to college. After completing college with a high GPA I plan to teach for two years and take master classes in order to receive my counseling degree and furthermore impact others’ lives around me. After completing these dreams I hope to settle down and begin a family of my own. I think that all of our decisions we make now will affect us in the future and that is another reason why I have to goal I do. I want to be a wonderful example to my children. I want them to see that education is valuable and if I can do it then they can to. I want them to succeed in every way possible and if I demonstrate determination now then it will transfer on to their lives and maybe you never know they will be the next Thomas Jefferson or Susan B. Anthony. My goal for higher education is tremendous. Not only will a higher education be an example to my children. It will allow me to continue learning throughout my whole life. This education experience is a blessing to anyone that can pursue it and will overall affect them their whole life. My passion for completing my education so I can pursue my dream job is uncountable. I want this more than anything and I will complete it with whatever I
My goal is to live a purposeful life, one that has meaning not only to me, but to society. I aspire to go into medicine to become an anesthesiologist. Going into pre-med and beyond will be rigorous and challenging requiring a minimum eight years of college.
My biggest career goal is to not regret a single day as a sonographer. I wish to keep learning day after day. I will work at being the best me every day so to have an impact on all my patients. Hearing positive feedback from patients is always encouraging and simply reaffirms my choice of profession. People fail to appreciate the little things. Despite a patient’s dealing with far worse than I, trying to help improve their day should be the ultimate goal. For that reason, I am extremely excited for my future in this
Why do I want to be an ultrasound technician? I want to be a an ultrasound technician because I love babies but I wouldn’t want to be having to deal with the doctor/nurse part of having and working with babies. I think it’s nice medium between the two, and I feel like it would be a good, suitable, stable career for me. I would love to feel the joy of finding the heartbeat of a growing baby and getting to update and provide knowledge for the expecting parents. I love the sense of joy I feel when making people happy, and I feel like being in this field that I can give people that.
People don't settle for less than what you can achieve .”When you take risks you learn that there is times where you succeed and there will be times when you fail, and both are equally important.” -( Ellen De Generous). There is always the fear that comes along while taking risks, Don’t be afraid of making mistakes, an average person makes along while going on their way climbing the mountain.
During school, my goals is to get good grades and go to high school, because by the time you go to high school they're gonna tell you about life. I just wanted to learn stuff and work hard because I can help my family out, or get a job, but I'm really gonna miss going back to school because all your friend is gonna be there, and you won't remember what you learn or what you did during school time.
I always make a promise to myself if you can achieve this goal set yourself a higher, push yourself harder be smarter, don't stop here god gave you a purpose here on earth either you use it, or you lose it everyday you wake up god gave you another day of life to do things better then you did yesterday. Everyday I wake up I follow that motto god gave you another day to do better then you did yesterday. I hope to get out of attending college socially, academically, socially, creativity, and personally is I hope to become more open and outgoing learning to be more comfortable with others. I hope to get knowledge not only for my career goal but also for life it self. I want to become more creative with my ideas learn to open up and express my thoughts with others and not just keep everything to myself, I feel I be having great ideas but I chose to keep things to myself I hope to overcome that, and something personally I really don't have nothing personal to overcome. MY goals to get out of this class is to get helped more with learning teach meomething I don't know or just something I want to
A couple of my personal goals, will be to graduate high school so I can get out into the real world and make money so maybe someday I can have a family to provide for. I need to research jobs and what will help me get a job. I will also look around for internships, so I could get started into the job. I will keep my grades up by studying subjects that I have trouble in.
I have many goals in life such as to have a good strong career and family. What is important to me is graduating Central high school and go on to UND. While at UND I plan to get my nursing degree and specialize in pediatrics and truama. I have
An obvious goal as a working adult returning to school is, of course, to earn a degree. My overall goal is no different than any other student, however, I also have several personal goals I hope to achieve while attending the University. Some of these goals are to acquire new skills and enhance my current business abilities, to apply what I learn in the classroom to forward my career, and to feel personal satisfaction of finishing something I started.
Everyone should have personal goals that evolve around anything that needs to be accomplished. I set goals on a daily basis. One goal that I seem to have not truly focused on has been my college education. Considering all things, I decided I needed to focus on my college education. The first thing I needed to accomplish was to enroll in an institution for higher learning. Now that my enrollment is complete, I am an official student at the University enrolled in the undergraduate program for business management. As a student at the university, I now have to set personal goals so that I will be successful in my endeavors. My personal goals are to gain personal growth and development and graduate from my undergraduate program in business
