My Major Strength

A second strength would be an individualized consideration provided to each team member with a focus on self-interest which as a key advantage to accomplishing good work. My team trusts my guidance as their leader because they know that in the end I have their success as individuals in mind. Over time I have proven to them that I have no personal agenda to adhere to and therefore the decisions I make with regard to them are solely for their benefit. I am able to delegate tasks to individuals that I believe are willing and excited to accept the task at hand, whether they believe they are ready or not. It is my belief in others to rise to any challenge that fuels my strength as a leader. Only when they do not succeed, do I find it necessary to intervene and take action. This foundation of trust is also vital to my success as a leader.

I believe that my strength are that I am a fast leaner. I do not give up easily, and I also make sure if I am going go to do something I do it to the best of my abilities.

My biggest strength is my adaptability. I always try to have an open mind when I meet others who have different views than me. I see the option for learning in my failures, and always keep in mind my end goal when things don’t always go as planned. My biggest weakness is that I always like to be in control. I like to have a plan, and stick to it. I will overcome this weakness by trusting others to take lead, and stop worrying about things I have no control over.

My second and third ranking strength were Empathy and Harmony. Out of all the strengths these are the two I feel really go hand-in-hand. “Empathy-You can see the sense of emotions of those around you. You can feel what they are feeling as though their feelings were your own. Intuitively, you are able to see the world through their eyes and share their perspective. You do not necessarily agree with each person’s perspective. You do not necessarily feel pity for each person’s predicament-this would be sympathy not empathy. A third strength I have is an inner drive to be able to stick to a task and get it done. Whether it is at work or at school, if I am assigned a task I make it a point to work at it until the task is done. If a deadline is presented in front of me I have something inside of me that forces me to keep working on it until it is completed and not just completed but done first the right way. Which leads to another strength that I have is a strong work ethic. In my profession in recruiting what I do reflects me and the company that I work for. When I go to recruiting events or career fairs I represent the company that I am there for. Everything about me such as my demeanor, my dress, my attitude, etc. reflects the professionalism of the company as well as any reports or products that are produced and put out by me. People have many different strengths in their lives. According to the strengthsfinder my top five five strength are input, harmony, maximize, communication, and responsibility. I will be utilizing my strengths in many different ways whether it's at work, home or school. While at work, home, or school I will use my input with making different decision. Utilizing input is very important for so many different reason.

From the Strength Finder website questionnaire, my individualized leadership strengths are as follows: achiever, command, context, focus, and significance. In this essay I will elaborate on these in detail and the ways they explicitly relate to my personality and the different experiences and activities of my life. I have also researched several articles that discuss transformational leadership and how this pertains to the literature on the subject. I will discuss transformational leadership in comparison to my own strengths, and explain how my leadership style may progress as I advance through this nurse practitioners program.

My psychological strength is perseverance to attain worthy goals, to stay focused in the moment when it counts, to get the job done regardless of the setbacks, to remain true to myself and my team, to walk the talk, to be humble when attaining success and to remain dedicated, determined, and disciplined when experiencing setback, obstacles, and mistakes.

My second key strength is showing gratitude to others. If someone does something for me or helps me develop a new skill. I show gratitude to them by thanking them, and I tell them that really appreciate their help. I am there for that person when they need my help.

Branching from this is what I also believe to be my second strength: having genuine hope. I’ve been fortunate to work at being an optimistic individual, often times relating myself to the “hope” bird that is mentioned in Emily Dickinson’s poem “Hope is the thing with feathers.” Because of this, I’ve had the fortune to experience the positive emotions as well, something which I believe is important when working with clients as I think it’s a common occurrence where hope and happiness are often thought of as a distant memory when times are

In addition to my personal challenges my personal strengths interfer. A personal strength I have is talking , I love sharing my opinion. Another personal strength I have is giving good advice because I love helping people solve their problem or help make their lives easier. Lastly another personal strength I have is just listening because I am a good person to vent to because I don’t judge. Therefore I always spread positivity and lean a hand.

One area of strength is my social health. For one I have many positive relationships, and I am aware of how I should behave around certain people, for example I would act much more proper around an adult I spend time with than with one of my peers. Secondly, I always work to decrease violence, I find violence in no way to being effective in dealing with other matter, even watching historical movies that involve violence makes my stomach turn. Finally, I consider the consequences of my behavior, which is why I tend to not take part in behavior that may be considered risky.

At first I didn’t quite understand some of the strength until I read in depth of what each term meant. Consistency is one I felt was not fitting until I fully understood the meaning of it. According to Gallup website, under Your Personalized Strengths Insights, “You like knowing what to expect next. You probably dislike being caught off guard or surprised.” This part spoke to me the most because I rather know what I’m getting into instead of not knowing. Since consistency is one of my five strengths I’m able to write out what can happen to what can’t when deciding on outcomes in work projects to personal life decisions. This helps with being aware of how certain situations can either fall or succeed as a leader. If I was working with a group of people and had to incorporate my natural abilities I think it would be challenging depending on who is in the group. Everyone works differently so it varies if I can use all five or just a few of the strengths. For example, when I started at my current job as a receptionist I didn’t know any medical terms or had any office experience. I had to learn how the environment was like and how people worked. My focus was making sure I knew what my goals and the company’s were and focus on achieving the goals. After that, make sure I was consistent about it while setting a future goal and getting to know the people you work with by small talks. There

When it comes to writing it isn’t my favorite subject in school. It isn’t something that I am very passionate about or something I enjoy doing, but I do know that I am a good writer. I’d say I am above average but I’m not a first-class writer. However, just like anyone else in anything I have my strengths and my weaknesses. My two best strengths in writing are being able to stay on topic and including good references, like facts. My two main weaknesses are me not always being able to focus and I don’t think I always use too descriptive of words. I feel though my weaknesses are minor ones, they can be easily fixed if I just focus on correcting them.

Every single person has strength and a weakness too. Not a single person in this world is living a perfect life. More or less everyone has strength and a weakness too. I have strength of being patient in every negative situation I face. I usually do not get panic in such situations instead I choose to be patient and I always try to cope with a situation by keeping my self and other people calm. I am a very responsible person and that’s what I think is another strength of me. Being responsible is sometimes a blessing because if you are responsible enough thing will automatically get easier for you.
