I am interested in attending this program because I am currently in AP Chemistry and I have taken AP Biology in my sophomore year which I really enjoyed. Because I took these courses I truly believe that going to the program will be an opportunity for me to integrate my knowledge and further explore topics that I have not been exposed to yet. I also would like to explore Purdue University in general and see how the campus is. I am also intrigued by the idea of looking into different chemicals and how much influence they have on human health. It’s possible that through this program we will discover new chemicals that will be the solution to an epidemic. I believe there is so much to learn, beyond what I have learned at school and therefore
In addition, this school has a nationally recognized research facility. My research experience has enabled me to think like a scientist. I plan to continue doing research in medical school. I believe that by attending here, I will have a chance to use my research knowledge to advance medical and scientific knowledge
When you ask somebody why they chose the path they are taking they will usually respond with the sense that they have wanted to follow that path for as long as they can remember, sometimes they lie about this, and sometimes that is the truth. It is not in my case.
Not only might this program ignite an interest in me pursuing an engineering field in the Army or Navy but would also give me a foundation to build off if I do decide to pursue a profession there. Once I graduate from college I plan to pursue a job that would allow me to gain experience while also giving me the opportunity to continue exploring my career path. After I gather some more experience from my job, I hope to open my own business, specializing in my chosen engineering discipline. The experience and knowledge that I can gain from this program will be valuable in every step of attaining my career
Altogether the curriculum, putting student’s as a top priority and an excellent reputation are the reasons I wish to be admitted to UOP. I want to attend an institution that will help to encourage my growth as a person and a future pharmacist. I know I have what it takes to succeed at UOP and hope to be given the opportunity to be the best I can be by attending the best school of pharmacy to fit my
I admire how the university allows students to spend their first two years taking various general courses in the College of LSA that help them decide on a future that is fitting for them. Although confident I want to continue my education in the College of Pharmacy, I will have two years to determine if I am interested in pursuing a PharmD, PhD in pharmaceutical sciences or another alternative path. What appealed to me that most schools do not have is Michigan’s REU Program that allows undergraduate students to have research opportunities to help advance them early in their college careers. I also look forward to gaining practical experience and clinical experience if enrolled. The College of LSA and the College of Pharmacy are both conveniently located on Central Campus, close to the heart of the social and educational scenes. Being able to take classes and live in the most inhabited part of campus allows me to get involved more easily, while everything is at the tip of my
McBride’s mother was a quester. At a young age her family migrated across the western world from Poland to the United States. She grew up in small town Suffolk, North Carolina. Her quest had multiple stops along to way to a final destination; making their family’s journey as a whole all the more interesting. Each stop along the way was also a trial en route.
The Governor’s Honors Program has been a dream of mine ever since by brother, Dammy, went there. He would talk about it constantly while I listened intensively. Dammy spoke of the classes he had for technology, his roommate, and the fun classes and activities he got to do after he finished classes. He told me about the time he went swimming and the gym class he had. Dammy also spoke about the new people he met, his PA, and how much fun they had. His words encouraged me to try and make it to GHP. He has always been my role model and I try to follow in his footsteps, especially when he talks about the activity with excitement.
Since both my father and grandfather are engineers, I naturally grew up in a household that encouraged inventive thinking. As a result, I’ve always been interested in solving problems and passionate about discovering new things, whether building and flying model rockets and airplanes or assembling computers from scratch. This encouragement and background has led me to pursuing a degree in engineering, specifically Aerospace Engineering. Attending Purdue will provide me with cutting edge research opportunities allowing me to make a difference in the space exploration industry of the
Moreover, the main goal I want to achieve is for me to learn a lot about my main interest or my future career. My future career is to be a doctor or a surgeon. In both cases, I want to get the basics down. Since this will be my major I want to take a lot of science courses. Also, science relates to a lot of other subjects mainly math, and technology, which both are in the courses. By being accepted into this school this brings me one step closer to accomplishing my dream goal.
To begin with, I’m taking Advanced Placement Biology because I want to challenge. I want to be able to step out of my comfort zone so that I can really see what I’m capable of accomplishing. I strongly believe
I am sending this email to see if any of my Chem I students would be interested in AP Chem next year. AP Chemistry is a rigorous course that would require large amounts of study time on your part. Please don't take this decision lightly and consider all of your obligations for next year be it sports, other difficult classes, or other school activities. Also please realize that this would mean you are skipping Chem II. It is doable, but it would require a bit more effort on your part. There are a few of of you that I feel would be ready and could benefit from this course, but I want to ensure that it is your decision. In AP chemistry you can expect: almost nightly homework assignments, detailed lab reports approximately twice a month, a fast-paced
Being able to attend this university, knowing that I am surrounded by other future chemists would mean a lot to me. Norfolk State has a legacy of African Americans excelling academically, starting professional careers after immediately graduation, and simply, being successful. I would be honored, to continue the legacy of African Americans striving for excellence in at Norfolk State University. Achieving wonderful goals in all that I do has always been the top priority of my life. I will always be dedicated to nothing but excellence, and I am more than ready to share my ideas of chemistry with Norfolk State University. Go
The reason I am interested in this program is because I want to have real experiences. I no longer want to look at life through a computer screen. I want to be the one researching and challenging myself in every possible way. I am a very open-minded and ambitious person. I am prepared to tackle any task that comes my way. I have little outdoor experience, but I want nothing more than to learn. Adventures are the best way of learning so this position was naturally appealing to me. This program will give me the opportunity to apply what I learned in class to the real world and allow me to escape the ordinary. I am a freshman in college with a massive desire for learning. I wish to leave my own trail and be the ripple in a wave that will produce
There are five main braches of chemistry: Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, and Biochemistry. Organic chemistry and Inorganic chemistry are self-explanatory, as organic chemistry is concerned with the chemistry side of carbon and living things, and inorganic chemistry is the branch of chemistry that deals with the interaction between and structure in inorganic compounds.
I particularly love experimenting with the challenges involved in understanding Chemistry. The different aspects of Chemistry, as well as the continually changing requirements of our society, fascinate me. I wish to build up my career as a renowned researcher and participate in the cutting-edge research in the field of Chemistry. I also dream to have hundreds of publications in conferences and Journals with high impact factor. I believe that pursuing higher studies will be the best way for me to start the journey towards my goal. Moreover, the Ph.D. degree would not only extend my understanding of what I have learned until now but also help me to develop my career as an academician in future. A doctoral degree could help me to train up myself in finding; evaluating and documenting a research problem in a methodical way that I need most to become an organized and meticulous researcher in future. In every society, doctorates are widely recognized as exceptional talents and intellectual elites since they can have a significant contribution to the world through their research on analyzing the existing problems and finding feasible solutions.
