The book Monster is about a sixteen year old boy named Steve he is put through a trial for being accused of being a part in the murder of Mr. Nesbitt and robbery of a drug store the book leads you to your own opinion to think whether he was guilty or innocent. in my opinion I believe he is innocent because he was not present at the time of the murder he was found guilty at the trial he is a good kid. A reason I think he is innocent is he was found innocent when the trial was over he had given enough facts about how he was not involved in the murder of Mr. Nesbitt shot by a guy that was left handed and laying in the drugstore or the robbery of the drugstore where he was stated to be the look out to see if there were any cops or anything that
The questionable forensic evidence, the untrustworthy witnesses and the insufficient investigation are all reasons why Steven Truscott should never have been charged with the rape and murder of Lynne Harper. Being charged with something you did not commit is something nobody wants to go through. Evidence, witnesses and the investigation portion is very important for a case to run correctly. It took Steven Truscott 42 years to finally get his name cleared. He went through many trials and hearings to finally get the news one day that he was free to go. Most of his life was taken from him that he will never get back. “They finally got it right after all these years. I am so used to fighting. Now we don’t have to fight anymore.”
Steven Avery's case has been one of the most captivating cases in the nation to hit the Netflix series. So many people have argued whether or not Steven Avery is guilty or innocetnce. I believe Steven Avery is guilty for the murder of Teresa Halbach. The reason I believe this is because Every piece of information in this case leads to none other than Steven Avery. This is why I believe Steven Avery is guilty for making Teresa Halbach a target, finding evidence in Steven Avery's property, and Brendan for being a witness.
Adnan Syed is innocent. I believe this because one, everyone says things that don’t make sense or don’t add up. Two, how could Adnan do this if he cared for Hae as much as he says he does? Three, every time it seems like the blame should fall on Adnan, people doubt that he’s not the one to blame. First, Adnan Syed is innocent in my eyes because all of his witnesses say different things and things that don’t add up. For example, almost all of the witnesses said a lot of “he was probably there”, and “from what I can recall”. Next, Adnan cares and wants the best for Hae, so why would he kill her? Adnan stated that he just wanted her to be happy that’s all he cared about, does that sound like a murder to you? Lastly, there’s too much doubt on
In our society, sometimes people make bad decisions. The book Monster is about men who made bad decisions and are on trial for them. One person was the main character in the book Monster his name is Steve Harmon he was accused of robbing a store and murder. In the robbery, Steve was the lookout, but he was not responsible for Mr. Nesbitt’s death.
Netflix produced a show called Making a Murderer that explains Steven Avery’s life. This show has people thinking on both sides of the spectrum but it is clear he did not have anything to do with either of the cases. He is always found guilty for things he didn’t do. Avery was able to prove the police wrong for sexually assaulting a woman but fell short for the murder of Teresa Halbach. He is not guilty for the murder of Halbach and his defense team is doing everything they can to prove that.
In the book Monster, written by Walter Dean Myers, a young boy named Steve Harmon was accused of taking part of a crime. In a real life trial called Murder on a Sunday Morning, a young boy named Brenton Butler was also accused of being a part of a crime. The main reason of those false accusations is because of their skin color, the witnesses notice color instead of physical appearance.
"A Trial without witnesses, when it involves a criminal accusation, a criminal matter is not a true trial." (Bill McCollum) It is not fair to convict a person of a crime just because a person claims they are guilty. There needs to be evidence and proof to make sure they are telling the truth. People are accused wrong everyday. When people are accused wrong of something such as murder, it can ruin their life forever. One of the many people who suffered a wrong accusation was Kevin Green.
The law states that if someone is accused for the murder of another, that person is still innocent until proven guilty. In Adnan Syed's case, there is not enough hard sufficient evidence that could prove that he is guilty for the murder of Hai. The court has just gone off of word of mouth from what the people they put on the stand said in the trials,000000000 but they do not actually have any evidence that proves Adnan truly committed the crime. This is why I believe that he is innocent.
Steve Harmon is the main character in the book Monster. Steve is on trial for his part in the murder of Mr. Nesbitt. Mr. Harmon struggles throughout this process trying to figure out who he really is. He also attempts to convince himself that he did not do anything wrong. Steve is a seventeen-year-old high school student that loves film class. He uses his knowledge of film to write a movie script based on his time in prison and his trial. The script is named Monster. Steve Harmon is wrongly found innocent in the trial for the murder of Mr. Nesbitt. There is a large stock of evidence that can be used to prove that the jury made a mistake. The young man had knowledge of a crime that resulted in an innocent mans death and he should be punished for it. Steve states in the book that he discussed the robbery with King and Peaches. Steve admits that he had knowledge of the robbery. Steve’s Alibi doesn’t hold much ground either.
We are gathered here today for the trial of Mr. Creation and Victor Henry Frankenstein. The creation is charging his creator, Victor, with negligence, reckless endangerment resulting in the involuntary manslaughter of William Frankenstein, Henry Clerval, and Elizabeth Lavenza, malpractice, emotional, and physical distress. My client, Mr. Creation, has suffered many times at the hand of his creator, and we are here today to see that justice is served for the cruel actions of Mr. Victor Frankenstein. In the following trial, we will be proving the defendant guilty of all the above charges.
Saying someone is guilty without enough evidence is so absurd. There was once a guy who is proclaimed a guilty by the court without enough evidence or proof. His name is Adnan Syed the fact that the murder case of Hae Min Lee has full of holes and facts don't match up, he was still charged of guilty. There is more evidence that makes sense proving he is innocent than guilty. One big piece of evidence that proves Adnan is innocent is Jay’s story of how events went that day. The woman who narrated the podcast, Sarah Koenig, and one of her fellow producers reenacted the events of that day, except for the murder, according to Jay’s story. They realized that the first part of the day could have happened, such as going to the mall and looking for
He was accused of murder all because he had scratch marks on his arm in which his neighbor noticed (Forensic Examiner p82). I just feel that a person should have a fair trial and that the evidence be tested correctly. Where there aren’t any mistakes with how the hair and DNA that was tested isn’t falsely compared to the suspect when it matches another or the victim for that matter.
The second why he should stay free is that his making honest living. He stopped robbing and he is being good. He bet the officer who is Ben price he would become a better man. He stopped breaking open safes.
He has done too many good things for me and my family that it just doesn’t seem true. Just because everyone thinks he is guilty, doesn’t mean that he did anything.
In this case, the defense has to prove insanity by a preponderance of the evidence. It is not the prosecutor’s job to prove he was sane. We only have to prove that he intentionally killed someone without lawful excuse. And we have done that. The correct verdict is
