A little over two years after Jason confessed his secret to Michael, he met Mira Veseli. Michael arranged for their first meeting to take place at the Nation. On that warm evening in early September 2010, Mira accompanied her brother, who had spent the past hour reacquainting her with the details of Jason's "condition." Serving as an intermediary, Michael purposely withheld key elements of Jason's personal profile from Mira and vice versa in the hopes that their first encounter be free of as many perceived misconceptions as possible. Because he was Mira's big brother, albeit only by fifteen minutes, he insisted on chaperoning her. After pulling into his reserved parking space, Michael exited the car to lend a helping hand to his sister. Mira
Michael’s character is carried through the whole book and Walter providers his reader with encounters with Michael when he was just starting to make films. Michael is involved in a scandal in his film, Cleopatra, in which he told a doctor to tell Dee that she had stomach cancer instead of what she actually had inside her, which was a baby. Michael met with one of Dee’s friends to tell him that he asked a doctor to cover up the pregnancy, and he chose stomach cancer “...because the symptoms could match up with those of early pregnancy” (140). In these first encounters the reader gets to see Michael's original attitude and goals in life. His main goal is to make money. He doesn’t seem to care much for people and relationships as we see in his actions toward Dee and his wife, “He spots Wife No. 4 through the open kitchen door, in yoga pants and tight T-shirt. He gets the full protuberant effect of his recent investments in her, the top-of-the-line viscous silicone gel sacs implanted in her retromammary cavities, for minimal capsular contracture and scarring” (90). Michael Deane is clearing only looking for his own gain, treating both Dee’s and Wife No. 4’s body’s as his

They had to bench Michael till they got his birth certificate, but since he is from Cuba it would be hard to get it. Especially since his dad had died a few months ago and his mom died a long time ago before they came to America. Throughout the middle of the book he tried everything he could to get it. This guy who works for the child services got curious about him and his seventeen. Michael has been telling everyone that his dad was in Florida taking care of his sick uncle. The guy wanted to talk to dad to see if he was real. Luckily, Michael had his best friend relative to pretend that he was his

Jason works well with others because his name is jason for darn sake they made a movie of that, (and a cool one too).
However, it is once more revealed to the audience, this time, by the interaction between Michael and Leigh Anne, of which the latter tells Michael that this is his life. She stressed that Michael is the one who ultimately makes the decision and that he gets to choose what school or team to go do. This demonstrates that the latter holds no secret agenda, that she is doing everything for the benefit of Michael and does not expect any rewards in return and once again justifies her actions. Thus, by acting solely out of her considerate nature, Leigh Anne justifies her actions in the movie in a moral
Jason tries to reason with Medea by showing that his betrayal was for the sake of the children “so [that] [they’ll] be well off” (326) and be brought up “in a way that’s worthy/ Of [his] family” (325). Medea consumed in her grief is still unable to mediate with Jason’s betrayal and is determined to kill Jason’s new bride by sending her a poisoned dress and tiara. Understanding that displaying fury towards Jason will not accomplish her plans, she chooses to show that she “agrees with him about his marriage” (332). Confessing to her own stubbornness and “bad temper” (334), she is able deceitfully continue on to say she “realizes how wrong [she] [has] been” (335). Furthermore, she uses the children to cumulate sympathy, similar to how she initially gained Creon’s mercy. By “[admitting] [she] was wrong” (335) and telling Jason she “supports [his] [plans]” of their children “having royal brothers” (326), he becomes persuaded by Medea’s thoughtfulness. After Medea allows the children to “come out” (336) and embrace him, she asks whether his “new wife” (336) could ask Creon to “let [the] [children] stay” (336). Medea takes advantage of knowing it would be difficult for Creon to refuse a request from his own child to resume her agenda. After spotlighting how concerned she is about the children, she recognizes that Jason
Kira is now in the town’s court, and is being introduced. The accuser, Vandara, told the judge, because she was ‘imperfect,’ she should not have been given the chance to be raised by her mother. Vandara also pointed out that Katrina, Kira’s mother, could have died from a disease that she had harbored inside her own body, and passed it on to Kira. Once Vandara was finished, Kira was given a choice between having a defender (one of the council members), or defending herself… Kira thought, and chose a
Medea betrays Jason by recognizing his yearning for a wife that is respectful and regretful. Her false articulation of accommodation to Jason, her admission that she was a stupid passionate lady, baits him to his fate. "I talked things over with myself, she lets him know, "and rebuked myself bitterly". "Why do I act like a mad women ? … What you did was best for me… I confess I was full od bad thoughts". Medea realizes that her most best approach to cover up her motives processes and execute she will likely put on a show to be pretend to be submissive. It works. Jason is duped, he feels that she has changed and moved toward becoming "sensible", that is receives Jason's views and
Before Michael goes to jail, actually two days before, he gets married to Nika Volek. Later to found out she was apart of the plan to break out. He helped her get citizenship in return of a favor. While he is prison, he meets the Doctor Sara Tancredi. He goes to her for insulin shots everyday, which he does not have. After the season goes on they become interested in each other and start to have feelings for each other. In later seasons they end up dating and staying together. After they all get exonerated, they get married in the last
Once he began manipulating Medea, this made him realize, that he can manipulate anyone he chooses to. After he had captured the Golden Fleece, he abandoned Medea and married the princess of Corinth hoping to stable his wealth and gain more power. He, in turn, manipulated the royal family only to have the consistent power he needed and desired. This had then begun to escalate. Jason is now displaying a pattern of his manipulation. As Jason begins to free himself from his “evil” ex-wife, Jason manipulates the past into a lie and much bigger problem from his side of the story. His dishonesty makes his side of the story more believable and by doing so, his manipulation skills had become more deceivable. Jason is in denial of the many things Medea had done for him and when he told his story, he used omission in order to deceive his listeners. Jason then says, “Dark threats cast out against the majesties/ of Corinth, count as veriest gain thy path of exile.” (27). He then blames Medea and having Creon ban her from Corinth.
The reader would come to this conclusion, because of the actions of Medea once she is infuriated by Jason’s behavior. Medea did not want to be reminded of Jason at all, she even hated her own
Eventually everyone in the school, including the teachers, are able to see Michael in the same way that S.J. saw him when they were on the
In addition to providing for his children, Jason also does complete the role of the protector. When Medea goes on her serial killing spree, Jason only knows that she has killed his new wife. Thus, Jason immediately thinks of his children and arrive as the palace “so [that he may] save the lives / Of [his] boys, in case the royal house should harm them / While taking vengeance for their mother’s wicked deed” (Euripides 391). He knows that the royal family of Corinth might see his sons and want to kill them because they are related to Medea; therefore, Jason wishes to whisk them away to safety before he loses them as well. However, he soon discovers Medea has also killed their sons, and he is absolutely stricken with grief. He mourns for “the boys whom [he] begot and brought up” and questions Medea on how she could have stomached such an unforgivable and sordid deed (Euripides 391). After many accusations from Medea, Jason then begs to see the sons’ dead bodies so that he may burry and mourn them, but Medea “prevents [him] from / Touching their bodies or giving them burial” (Euripides 393). Jason, left without a chance to mourn for the loss of his children, leaves Medea as she blames him for the deaths of their children.
Acquaintances question whether having Michael in the house affects her daughter, Collins. The friends are worried that Michael will harm Collins because of his size, age, and background. Leigh Anne defends Michael because she is strong-willed, but more importantly, she trusts him and knows his character better than the other women do. Leigh Anne does not change her mind about whether giving Michael a place to live is moral, despite the doubt and skepticism from family and friends. Her own convictions outweighed the opinions of others.
