Mercy Otis Warren was a strong woman and she would always say “The waves have rolled upon me, the billows are repeatedly broken over me, yet I am not sunk down.” In this essay, you will learn about the life of Mercy Warren and why she wrote poets,plays and stories and why she was a big impact on the revolutionary war. Mrs.Warren was a nice woman she would warn other countries that people are coming for war when they wouldn't even know. Mercy Warren was a kind young girl that grew up in a Barnstable.

In 1728 September 28th Mercy Warren was born and living in a Barnstable. Mercy was a young child living with four siblings and one brother owned a library. Mrs.Warren's parents were poor people and she could not attend school. So in her older brother library her brother her with all the books that were in the library.In Mercy’s life no school at all including collage but she grew up to be an amazing woman.

As Mercy got older she married James Warren in 1754. James Warren was the political leader and served time as a paymaster to George Washington's army during the Revolution. By writing the first history on the revolutionary war lots of people today would not know today what happened and how it happened. Although she may seem one of the most perfect people in the world but she did have some struggles like with liberty. And I am pretty confident that she had some struggles with writing all of her quotes and stories to make them all really well and nearly perfect.
